“We had a great time here. It was a busy Saturday evening. We didn’t make reservations so we were glad to get standing room near the bar. We had heard the cocktails are great and they are. We started with the Alpine Sour and a non-alcoholic drink. Absolutely delicious. The bar tender Manny was excellent. Manny also made us a fantastic paper plane (not on the menu) and another cocktail.“

“Second time since 2021. While price has increased it still offers one of the best value in the area for tasting menu. Most of the courses are on point and creative. my favorite is the jidoji egg. The tortellini is a bit bland, but still good. I like that the atmosphere is intimate and unassuming.“

The restaurant is modern and chic, the view is the best in the Bay Area, and the entire ambience is joyful and uplifting. We had delicious food : the ceviche was amazing .. little gems salad ... so many delicious choices on the menu ..it will be a place to return to to try others .. and then the music by Freddy Clark was beyond fabulous! “Excellent water view dining in a beautiful small town. Our family loved our delicious entrees. Unfortunately, my husband had the halibut and pinto beans but should have been cannellini beans and the combination was terrible. We would have appreciated if we were told of the substitution before hand otherwise a different entree would have been chosen.Excellent customer service.“

“(March 2024) First time trying the Caprice. Food was good, views of Golden Gate Bridge were fantastic! I wouldn't go there just for the food. Pretty pricey. You're not paying for the quality of the meal, your paying for the ambience and the views.“

“I crave the gnocchi here and I don't even like gnocchi. My kids were mad when they had their fries and said now all other fries are ruined for them. Their Crudo is proportion is tiny but delicious. Had the most Marin kind of pizza - the kale with roasted garlic and it was delish. I could go on...but I need a nap now...“

“A small and cozy place to have breakfast or brunch. The food is filling, but light. The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were light and not dense. The mushroom soup was delicious. The French toast was nice and custard like in the center. Love the coffee with refills. The service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back for more.“

“Thanks to Christina, our friendly and efficient server, I can write a very positive review for Bungalow 44. A year ago my husband and I visited here and were shocked at the poor service. It marred any enjoyment of the meal. When my sister wanted to go here for her birthday dinner last night , I said yes with my fingers crossed. Our server Christina greeted us upon arrival and throughout the dinner was attentive without being intrusive. She was knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations. We enjoyed the fig cheese flatbread, pork chop, steak frites and a delicious dessert. Eating under the tent has a wonderful ambiance. We received attention but never felt rushed. “If you look at my photos it probably goes without saying that I think the Comforts Chinese Tofu Salad is basically humankind's greatest invention, which is not a superlative. I'd give it 100 stars out of 5 if I could. Their offering the tofu version without needing to ask for a substitution is awesome, on top of which the tofu is richly flavorful--several omnivorous friends have said they prefer it to its chicken counterpart. The dressing is light but perfectly coats the fixings. Furthermore the staff is friendly without fail and the main drag of San Anselmo is perfect for eating outdoors. I drive out of way several times a week for this lunch and I suggest you try the same.“
