However, there was one significant downside that left me slightly disappointed, and it's the reason I've docked a star from my review. The preparation of the ice cream cone left much to be desired. Typically, I expect my cone to be assembled in a specific order: ice, ice cream, ice, and then syrup. Unfortunately, the girl behind the counter didn't follow this sequence. Instead, she put the ice cream first, a move that initially caught me off guard. I didn't even realize she had added the ice cream until my observant friend pointed it out, as it was the first thing she did. Consequently, I assumed she had forgotten about my ice cream until I reached the bottom of the cone, where it was disappointingly mixed with water. “Came solely for the Al Pastor tacos and they were chef's kiss! CASH ONLY. Located in the parking lot by the gas station. A few parking spots available. No restrooms available (even in the gast station) You order your tacos at a smaller stand and then stand in another line to the food truck window to get your salsas and toppings (which are all pre-packaged) A couple of standing tables next to the taco truck for eating as well. The al pastor was juice yet tender, I always love the sweet pineapple component and then the avocado salsa was very good. The green salsa had a good kick and the red salsa had a slight smokiness to it. I dress my taco up with all the fixings so I liked the raw onions and pickles onions they offer too. Will be back!“

“Family owned and operated truck located in Boyle Heights / East LA area that specializes in tacos arabes and goodies from Puebla in general. The tacos arabes were a result of Lebanese immigrants to the area and boy are they delicious. I came here later on a Thursday night so it wasn't very busy and it was pretty chill. Just a few other people around me. The folks here were friendly and helpful. I ordered:A taco arabe especiale- their signature taco with their marinated roast pork on this soft flower tortilla. This was topped Oaxacan cheese and slices of avocado (especiale). There was this chipotle sauce on top of everything. The sauce added some smokiness to an already great flavor and texture profile. I really liked that flour tortilla. Quesadilla de flor de calabaza - zucchini blossoms with melted Oaxacan cheese inside a blue corn tortilla. Love corn and I love this. Nice and chewy with earthy and slightly sweet flavors to go along with their delicious salsaDefinitely recommend for tacos/ quesadillas etc etc or if you are just in the mood for something a little different.“

“Been coming to this place for years at least twice a month. The tortas never disappoint. I've placed phone orders and they never get it wrong unlike other places. Their customer service is good. In my opinion, it's the best tortas in Los Angeles. However, my only critique is the fact that they are extremely stingy with the napkins and even worse, with the salsa. They give 2 napkins and 1 salsa per torta. If you ask them for more salsa they charge extra. Apart from this, they only accept cash. Perfectly fried, crunchy and the shrimp bits were chopped chunky and was mixed with some kind of stuffing. Avocado slices and salsa topping was perfection. The flavors blended perfectly! The oysters were delicious! I've never had an oyster w salsa topped with a slice of octopus or a whole shrimp before. Super hearty and delicious. It took away from the taste of the oyster, but still very very good. These tacos are so amazing I had to get another three. 6 tacos, 6 oysters and a jarriotos w 20% tip was about $40. This lunch truck so happens to park by my house. We were hungry and wanted something refreshing and Maye Mariscos was our pick. The lady was very nice and they had a line of people. We knew it was good when people we're ordering for the next day already. She has a very good variety of things. They had so many different tostadas, their tacos were so good. The octopus and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Not too chewy and the combination of citrus with their house made salsa were perfect. Between the 4 of us this was plenty of food.
