“I visited holy grail donuts today. And I'm telling you that it was great experience to enjoy good donuts. You can see how your donut is made and who makes your donuts in the store. It was so fresh and I've been never experienced this before. The vibe was cozy and comforting. Also staffs were super friendly. Strongly recommend. “I must have died and gone to doughnut heaven. The donut texture is fluffy with a pleasant slight chew, and not oily or too sweet for the most part. Most were priced $4-5 each but I find it worth it for the quality of the ingredients.Our favorites are the misugaru (roasted soybean) because it's mild and nutty and has a chewy filled mochi inside. The black sesame is also intensely nutty with a chewy mochi inside too. My wife loves the sweet potato cream the most because it has fresh sweet potato puree along with milk cream, and it's the Korean/Japanese sweet potato that's delightfully sweet and nutty.Tiramisu had plenty of rich cocoa powder accompanying the tangy cream (probably cream cheese mixed in it?). The bitterness of the cocoa was the best together with the cream.The strawberry milk cream had a small amount of strawberry pieces but the cream was so milky rich yet light at the same time. The blueberry one is the exact same except with a few blueberries so I slightly prefer the strawberry one.Matcha creme brulee had strongly flavored matcha cream but I'm not too much of a fan of the sugar crust top. I might still try the regular creme brulee next time to compare the regular custard.Our least favorite was the apple cinnamon because the icing was too sweet but the presentation was beautiful with the pieces of apple inside.We saw quite a line build up after us at 10am so I'd come early since they open at 9am until they sell out! The parking lot is nice and big so it wasn't any trouble finding parking. The mall also has other interesting stalls like a kimbap and udon one if you need some savory to offset the sweet.“

“Delicious!!!!! All in house, quality ingredients, and no short cuts. The process and pride in the baking shows up in the food. The pasties are high quality, and very tasty. They use whole food ingredients; no extracts or artificial flavors. The staff is amazing, and makes you feel like part of the family. “1903... wow. A friend bought a box of mochi here and I was able to try some. I'm not big on mochi since I'm just so so with red bean filling, which is most common. The mochi was pillowy soft though. I'm glad I got to try it from this place. If you're looking for mochi in Sacramento, Osaka-Ya is just as good!“

“Last minute search for a breakfast/brunch type spot and found Marin Cafe. It's located in an area off of Rosmead that shares a small parking lot with Zapien's Salsa Grill. It is a small lot but there's parking on the other side. I went while it was raining in the morning around 9 so it was pretty empty. The cafe is a small shop with 3 four-seater tables so not good for huge groups. But the decor was really cute and cozy. A mix of cafe and small bakery. Love the painted walls with the cake and bakery items painted on. There was a large display case of various bakery good from conchas, to croissants, to cakes and cake slices. Everything looked so good. Brisa (I hope I didn't spell her name incorrectly, apologies!) was our barista and she was lovely. Very friendly and let us take our time, she answered my bf's questions about the food. We chatted here and there and then placed our orders with her. She kept us updated on our food as they made the wrong sandwich for me and needed to remake it which was no problem and appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered a concha, with an Abuelita hot latte, a mocha hot latte, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Recommend the Abuelita hot latte for sure, perfect on a rainy cold day. The chocolatey spice from the Abuelita was so good with the espresso, the mocha was great as well great blend of chocolate and coffee. Now the breakfast sandwich was bomb, presentation and taste were great. Eggs were hot and fluffy, bacon crispy, with ham, and refreshing tomato avocado and lettuce with a honey mustard type sauce. It also came with a side of potato salad, pickles and banana peppers. The potato salad is EXACTLY how I like it, not mayonnaise-y and sweet. Brekfast burrito was nice and filling too, bf said he'd definitely add bacon next time as mine was crispy in my sandwich hash browns were crispy and the creamy lime cilantro sauce was so good with it. I also ordered a slice of the mocha tres leches cake...so good not overly sweet and mocha wasn't too strong. The cake was overly saturated with milk which I would've like but it had the right amount of moistness so not to make it soggy. All in all definitely reccomend this little gem of a cafe. Owners and staff are all friendly and the food and drinknwere fantastic. Definitely coming back for more cake!“

“This is where my mom would get banh mis for us when I was little and I just recently re-discovered them! The #1 Thit Nguoi or cold cuts is my version of THEE traditional banh mi. There's no where else you need to go. The fresh bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. When you order, you can choose from the football shape or the baguette shaped bread. Scratch pate, cold cuts, daikon, carrots, cilantro, and thinly shaved jalapeños. Service is straightforward and fast! Corner store vibes but Vietnamese :) Parking is also plentiful. We ordered pasta, a hot chocolate and a coffee. My favorite time of day to eat here is evening. The inside of the bistro is gorgeous, and makes me feel like I'm in Paris. It's old and full of charm. The only thing I would say is parking is limited so you'd most likely have to park down the street in the neighborhood. “My go to place for lava cakes. Flaky, flavorful and their egg yolk lava cakes are wonderful! Taro, green tea, any thing you can't go wrong! This place is located in a small plaza but there are plenty of parking. If you visit during office hours and before lunch you'll find street parking in front of the plaza so no issue there. The place is very small inside, not much seats but you can always go to next door cafe or boba place if you want to enjoy both lava cakes and boba teas. The staff members are always smiling and welcoming so that's also a plus!“

Both dishes came with VERY fresh ingredients and I've been craving to return since I first tried it Smoked salmon bahn mi - 10/10. It was so tasty even though it wasn't anything like what a traditional bahn mi is like. The lettuce and mint used in the sandwich were crunchy and super fresh and the pickled jalapeños used added a nice dimension to the sandwich Side salad - 8/10. I would have enjoyed it more but it was much too drenched with oil/lemon (not sure what they use here. It was good regardless but the dressing used was overwhelming)“

“Ordered the 12" Square famous Strawberry Whipped Crème cake for our monthly office birthday celebrations-- and it was a total hit for 40 sweet tooth employees (serves up to 50 I think). Very fresh and sweet fruits and the whipped crème was light and delicious. Cake also moist and just a touch of sweet. Easy to cut but it's a very tall cake so needed help to keep the slices in tact haha I was in awe watching the owner (?) freestyle write a birthday message on the cake with such ease.
