“I had a great experience at Haidilao. The service was outstanding and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, delicious, and made our meal truly enjoyable.”
“01SEP2024 | Nice to Meet You Skewer Hot Pot is a chic hotpot restaurant. My first impression was that it was clean, with delicious food and attentive service. The prices are just right for the quality of the food and ingredients. I would give it a 10 out of 10, and we will definitely be coming back.”
“Danielle S went above and beyond during our visit. When the gyro was unavailable, she made a thoughtful customer-focused decision. She handled the situation confidently, showed great judgment, and clearly put customer satisfaction first. Her decision-making and leadership mindset show she has the potential to be a strong supervisor or manager in the near future.”

“We’re frequent patrons of Postino Wine Cafe on South Broadway, San Antonio, TX. Love the ambiance, food, wine & service. Last night we experienced them at their finest! Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!”

“If I could give 20 million stars, I would! My experience at Galpao Gaucho tops any of the experiences that I've had at other chain Brazilian steakhouses by miles. ADRIAN was amazing! He's so personable, asked me exactly what meat I wanted and made sure I got that piece (garlic picanha- INSANE). The other servers that helped us (Juliano, Patricia, Deborah) were equally as amazing and attentive. I truly cannot say any more good things. We have found our new spot and could not be more thrilled!”

“So this doughnut shop is inside the grocery / general store in the plaza. They offer so many unique doughnuts like various candy bar and cereal flavors, as well as some more traditional flavors. The doughnuts were delicious and a great find. It's definitely worth a trip to try some unique and tasty doughnuts.”

“Went with my parents for an early Christmas dinner and service was great… food was delicious… and atmosphere was on point!”
“We had such a great experience at Broken Yolk Café! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served with that perfect homemade touch that makes breakfast feel extra special. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is bright, clean, and welcoming — the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood.
From the coffee to the entrées, everything was delicious and cooked just right. A perfect spot for a relaxing morning, family brunch, or a quick bite that hits the spot.
Highly recommended if you love great breakfast, great vibes, and great service! 🥞🍳☕✨”

“Joy & Q are two of the nicest folks you'll ever meet! They take time to chat you up about your day and if you're a frequent flyer of Cassel Earth, like I am, they'll always remember your go to order and name!!
Their oatmilk lattes are by far my favorite thing to get there. They use quality syrups, espresso beans, and oatmilk! It tastes the same EVERY time which is amazing to me and so very appreciated!
Also, the location is absolutely perfect. It's clean, tidy, and overall such a fun vibe. You can tell Joy and Q love what they do and it is apparent in how the run their shop.”

“Amazing place! The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Portions are great for the price, and everything feels very reasonably priced, especially for the quality you get. Another big plus is the parking: plenty of space and no hassle at all. Overall, great food, fair prices, and convenient parking. Definitely coming back and highly recommend it!”
“Best comfort food ever! The thing I miss about living in California the most is the spaghetti grilled cheese at Burnt Crumbs. It will change your life. I would order three at a time and eat half a sandwich each day for lunch. If you guys wanna franchise in Detroit let me know lol 💯 💯 🔥 🔥”

“The is was our second trip to NEP and was as good as the first! Both the shrimp salad app and the squid and mango salad were so well balanced and tasty. The garlic noodles and shaking beef were sooo good. Nothing was too spicy but really flavorful. The shaking beef was so good we ordered another one! The cocktail that night was a raspberry sour and too was perfectly prepared. For a casual restaurant, these guys really put out the effort. Oh, and the sticky rice/mango desert was the topper. Not too sweet and the mango was perfect! Will be back sooner than later. Well done NEP.”
“I just discovered the most incredible hidden gem and I have to share it—because it might just be my new favorite restaurant in the world! 🌟 This place is a dedicated gluten free restaurant (yes, you read that right!) and every single dish blew me away. I honestly still can’t believe how amazing the food was. The croissant was so buttery, flaky, and perfect I had to double check that it was really gluten free—it’s a dream come true. 🥐 The popovers with house-made jam and honey butter were out-of-this-world delicious, the Brisket Benedict was rich and comforting with perfectly poached eggs, and the Steak Frites rivaled any French bistro. Every bite was pure heaven. But what really makes this place so special are the wonderful owners, Laura and Michael. Their passion, warmth, and dedication show in everything they do. Laura is a true genius—she spent 7 years perfecting her very own gluten free flour blend and dough, and you can even buy it to take home for fresh bread, pizza, or cinnamon rolls. It rises and bakes like traditional dough, and the flavor is unbelievable. 🍞✨ The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the service was wonderful, and the food… I’ll be dreaming about it until I can go back. We went for brunch, but I can’t wait to try dinner next. If you’re gluten free, this is your paradise. If you’re not gluten free, I challenge you to come here and tell me you can tell the difference. You can’t. That’s how good it is. 🙌 Run, don’t walk—this is one of those rare places that feels like magic. ✨”
“I absolutely love this restaurant! It's my favorite lunch spot – the service is always excellent, and the food is fantastic. Their lunch specials are great value, and the dishes on the regular menu are also delicious. They can even accommodate large groups! Highly recommended!”
“I was craving Greek food, needed something quick, and I found this place based on reviews. Everything we ordered (combination gyro, Greek salad, combination plate) was on point and fresh, and the waiter who took my order was very friendly and polite. I would definitely go back again soon.”
“Absolutely amazing experience! My boyfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant after hearing great things, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Allie (Alessandra), was outstanding! She was so informative, offered recommendations, and drink parings. Our dinner and drinks were delicious, and the overall ambiance was impeccable. We will definitely be coming back & bringing friends and family along! :)”

“Pretty cool place but it’s pretty noisy .. the offices are great but walls are made from tissue paper .. common area is spot on but you need to be early for a good spot .. ample free parking spaces .. bikes for short commutes to your favorite restaurants .. great place for studying or intensive reading with your headphones of course”
“The fact that this del taco is still here after decades tells you that they're doing somethign right lol. PErfect for the late night snack or fuel for studying! Although there are better options in terms of nutrition lol. I remember coming here many times when I was in college and remember it fondly. Lots of college kids come here to eat and sometimes to study (LOL) but it is what it is! Happy to see they're still here and not closed down like the other resturants in the area”
“Enjoyed a delicious lunch combo special that included two sliders, 1/2 house salad, and a side (sweet potato fries). It was delicious, and a ton of food. Our bartender was super friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend this place if you're in Irvine.”
Takeout Restaurants
“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is warm and friendly which is evident from all interactions with every staff member. The food and service are excellent in every sense of the word. The bread and baklava were made fresh! The Turkish Delights were phenomenal. The owner and staff went to great lengths to make us feel comfortable and welcome, explaining the menu items in detail. We are so excited to have come across this gem!!! It is the type of culinary and cultural experience that my husband and I treasure. We will be coming again soon, both with and without friends! We can’t wait to try some of the items on the patio grill. :)”
“Husband and I went there last night during Haunt Hopping in Santa Ana -- and WOW!! Absolutely delicious, filling burgers and crispiest, hottest fries! Very friendly service. Hoping they open some locations near us, but until then, we'll make special trips -- they're that good!”
“I tried Haesintang for the first time, and it was such a revitalizing experience that I can confidently say this will now be my go-to nourishing dish. The flavors were vibrant and energizing, truly awakening both my senses and appetite.
The generous combination of octopus, abalone, short ribs, chicken, and mushrooms was impressive from the moment it arrived. Each ingredient tasted exceptionally fresh. The octopus was tender and pleasantly chewy, the abalone delicately cooked, and the short ribs and chicken were simmered until the meat fell effortlessly off the bone.
What stood out most was the broth. Rather than relying on heavy seasoning, it seemed to be crafted from natural ingredients, creating a deep yet clean flavor that beautifully tied everything together from start to finish.
The staff were warm and attentive, kindly refilling side dishes throughout the meal.
The highlight came at the end — rice cooked in the remaining broth to create a rich, comforting porridge. Even though I was already full, I couldn’t stop eating. Paired with crisp kimchi, it was the perfect finish. Despite the generous portions, the meal felt wholesome and easy to digest.
In every aspect — quality, flavor, and service — it was outstanding. I would gladly return and enjoy this dish with my family again.”

“I’m really glad we found this place, and it’s highly recommended if you are slightly adventurous and trying out some ethnic Chinese flavors.
Everything we ordered was excellent. We knew the crispy lamb buns (aka Chinese Burger) was going to be good, but not sure about the $20 fried pork which was #1 chef recommendations, it turned out to be delightful.
The lamb soup came out first, it was tasty and refreshing, Liang pi was cool, you don’t get it in many places. String beans were nicely done, a delicious necessity to balance out the meal.
The first bite of crispy lamb buns was a delightful surprise: crunchy layered thin bread and lamb with slightly cumin, it was an amazing feast.
Fried pork is an even more interesting surprise that I would not spoil. Ha ha. Try it to find out!
Service was fine, we were seats and water was provided quickly. Orders are done by scanning QR code, browsing the online menu, and order directly. I find this efficient but lacking some personal interactions.
We did purposely ordered a lot for the two of us, we obviously didn’t finish. I was surprised the bill wasn’t as much as I expected. We got a lot of leftovers to go and enjoyed rest at home.”

“1. The sandwich was well-crafted, and I love the fried shrimps!
2. The spot has fun casual vibes as it is located inside a food court!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It took about 10 mins!
Note: The food hall does have restroom area!

“Wall Writers is a hidden gem in Irvine with a modern, cozy vibe and plenty of seating. The menu goes beyond the basics with unique drinks like ube lattes, pandan matcha, and pistachio lattes. Definitely worth trying. Prices are a bit higher, but the quality and creativity make up for it. It can get busy, but overall it’s a great spot to study, hang out, or grab something different from your usual coffee run”
“Stopped by Yup Dduk in Irvine and it was definitely a solid spot. We got the Yup Dduk Tteokbokki, Yup Dduk Chicken Stew, Tuna Mayo Rice, and a Potato Cheese Corndog. The tteokbokki and chicken stew were the real standouts — full of flavor, good heat, and just the right kick to keep things interesting. The tuna mayo rice and corndog were solid sides that paired well without stealing the show. The spot itself is casual and unassuming, and the food definitely delivers. If you’re into Korean street-style dishes with bold spice and flavors that actually hit, this place is worth carving out time for.”
“Great place! Ambience was outstanding. Food was good. Chicken and waffles is the go to dish. Waffles were nice and thick. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Our waiter (Dylan) was awesome! Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be coming back!”
“We had such a great lunch at Annie’s Table in Irvine! It’s one of those hidden local spots that feels warm and welcoming the minute you walk in. The atmosphere is clean and relaxed — a perfect place to grab a delicious meal without any fuss.
The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home, which made the whole experience even better. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. From the comforting bowls to the tasty sides and drinks, it all hit the spot.
It’s also cool that they have fun drinks like boba, and smoothies if you want something extra with your meal.
Annie’s Table is definitely worth checking out — we’ll be back!”
“Love the service and the food here. Their Arroz con pollo, and flan are to die for. As are other items on the menu. Even their bread and butter they serve just crazy delicious.”

“Excellent dessert spot. I like the takoyaki separate because it comes out hot and delicious. I do succumb and my go-to single order is the upside down takoyaki with the soft serve (it's delicious but the takoyaki fish cools down quickly with the soft serve). The desserts and service are always excellent, and they get your food ready quickly. Excellent location given all the restaurants around it”
“I love the cool clean freshness of modern architecture and light the restaurant provides; with a decided touch of old ranch atmosphere; you can be left alone to yourself, or join in community. The food is varied, always fresh, healthy, creative modern nouvelle cuisine along with more traditional dishes, the ingredients definitely high quality -California Sunshine. If you really wish to muse, meditate, read, or silently work, the place is surrounded by little nooks and crannies in the midst of nature. You can even lull yourself to a nap, abandoning all care for a few precious minutes. Or else you can sit outside in community, perhaps choosing a more intimate table conversational setting on certain days, resolving the woes or the theories our world is constructed on. All together a complete experience🙏 Thank you.”
“Regardless of how many new boba places will open up, TP Tea will always have a soft spot in my heart. My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. I also find it a unique boba topping compared to the other boba shops in town. Got myself a wintermelon Tieguanyin tea and Sunshine ice tea for my BOGO drink! #TPTeaBayArea #TPTEA”
“This place is fun. Choose the size you want and ALL toppings and mix ins are included. Four kinds of granola, many bases, fresh fruit, three nut butters, three yogurts, seeds-chia, hemp, pepitas, so many choices. Granola on the bottom and top-ok! More almond butter? Ok! A large 24oz was $15. If you don’t like this place you ordered wrong 😜”
“Omg! Their breakfast burrito is amazing. Came to kaiser for a doc app and was looking for donuts. Well, I now found my new breakfast burrito place. First bite melted in my mouth. The eggs are fluffy and have a great flavor. The tortilla is soft. Im not one for cheese on my food. But the cheese they use is also soft and melts right into the burrito. The salsa is a must to add onto before a bit. My new spot when I’m in the area 😍”
“My husband and I have been to this bagel spot three times now, and every visit is just as good as the first. East Coast Bagel consistently delivers some of the best bagels I’ve ever had perfectly chewy on the outside, soft on the inside, and always fresh.
I’ve tried a couple of their bagel sandwiches, and the Turkey Melt is hands-down my favorite. I crave it constantly it’s melty, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also tried another turkey sandwich (can’t remember the name) that was just as delicious. Even their plain bagel with butter is next level soft, warm, and honestly better than any I’ve had in New York! Pair it with their fresh squeezed orange juice, and you’ve got the perfect breakfast combo.
The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that amazing fresh-baked bagel aroma, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I also love that you can customize your sandwich with any bagel you like it makes every visit a little different.
This place has officially become my go-to breakfast spot. Great food, great service, and that warm neighborhood feel I’ll definitely keep coming back!”
“My meal was very good. I ordered Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, with side of Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was very average, but satisfying. The sandwich was wonderful. Very crunchy, well seasoned, good sauce, pickles, fresh lettuce, delicious bun. The man who gave me my order was very kind and gave me a sample.
I definitely recommend to anyone who likes chicken sandwiches.”
“Great food, highly recommend the fried chicken. Servers are fantastic.”
“Went to Cozy Pine for date night and we enjoyed it. Really feels like you are in a different place, inside a restaurant. Decor, cocktails and food were all great. Definitively worth stopping in.
Food is mostly “snacky” compared to Bacchus outside. We did not have a reservation and we’re still able to get seated, likely because we arrived early in the evening.”
“Party of 6 went for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday in December. The restaurant is very spacious, with multiple rooms, and we were able to find a large booth pretty easily. In true Olive Garden fashion, we were given an endless supply of warm breadsticks with creamy alfredo sauce, and I am sure I had 4 of them after my 10k run earlier. Some of us had the salad, others soup, and again, we were given a huge bowl of salad which was refilled once as well. It was pretty delicious. I had the spaghetti and meatballs entree, which was very good in both quantity and quality as well. Our server was very friendly, and kept inquiring repeatedly if we needed anything. Great experience, and before tips, it came to around 25 bucks per person, including some iced teas that some folks got.”
“David was a delight from beginning to end. Whoever gets the opportunity to have him as a waiter, consider yourself lucky. Everyone at this restaurant was so nice and the food itself was an absolute phenomenal experience. I highly recommend!”
“Great Food and atmosphere! Mosic was our server and he was awesome. Asked what we were into for both food and cocktails and his recommendations were spot on. The Panama Prescription was divine and I loved the shrimp and grits. My husband had the 12 hour short rib and I can’t tell you which was better. We will be back with friends!”
“Best Ramen spot I've ever been to. Love the thin soft noodles and broth is delicious!!! This is one of our top weekly spots especially with this cold weather, absolutely perfect!!”
“The hotpot I eat most often with friends is Lao Pier. The first time I ate flying pancakes was at Lao Pier. Now that I think about it, it still tastes delicious.”
“Everything is great! Love the food, service & atmosphere! Strongly recommended good restaurants!🙏🥰”
“This was such a cute place for desserts and I’ve never had anything like this. Usually places like this they put fruit in it and there’s never other options that I like. But this one was calling my name, Milk tea bowl with Oreo. It was so yummy and refreshing and would definitely get it again. Even came in a cute bucket which I reuse!”
“I absolutely love this restaurant! It's my favorite lunch spot – the service is always excellent, and the food is fantastic. Their lunch specials are great value, and the dishes on the regular menu are also delicious. They can even accommodate large groups! Highly recommended!”
“My office is just a couple doors down from Sushi Atelier, which works out of Smart Kitchens. I find their sushi tasty, and very good quality for price. Excellent value, and they are very customer focused. Thank you !”
“Food is very appetising but I find it not spicy enough.
The Lemon Iced Tea used Jasmine based tea which I didn’t quite like. It was not stated on the menu as I would not have ordered that.
Ordering is by scanning the menu which can be switched between Chinese or English. In English mode, choice of Less Salt, Less Oil, Less Spicy was still in Chinese. Staff helped to translate for me.
Pork Belly skewer was a bit too thin. I preferred the Lamb ones which was listed as ‘Beef’.
Eggplant and Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetable were good. I got more hungry as I ate them.
Sichuan style Chive n Pork Dumplings were juicy.
Will come back again.”
“Staff are friendly. Place is clean and wait time was very minimal”
“Wow wow wow, my first time here, I had beef Soltani, it was the best Soltani i ever had, brave owner and staff”
“They having a big basement parking, it brings you only a staircase away. Just follow the sign 2626. And they open until 2am. A good place for my late night option.”
“Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with30+ family and friends. They had awesome service!”
“Service was great! We tried the calamari and did not care for it. We never asked but the waitress removed it from our bill! She was a wonderful waitress! We also tried the spinach dip and the firecracker shrip and it was okay. I would try something else in the future. For my main course I got the pork chop. It was perfectly cooked. The veggies that were served with it were delicious. I would definitely recommend this dish!”
“Amazing view of the golf course from the patio! I got the philly cheese steak and my gf got the orange chicken bowl, really good stuff. Nia was super attentive and a great host!”
“wonderful food - never had a bad meal here. Their lentil soup is fantastic.”
“We would give this place ten stars if we could. We ate there last Wednesday and it was our first time there. Food was excellent! We ordered beef teriyaki/tempura and chicken teriyaki/tempura.The house dressing on the salad was amazing! Everything was amazing. Our server Terry provided us with top notch service. Terry was very attentive and regularly refilled our drinks and checked in on us. We will be back there again!”
“The meat was delicious. Two meat servings was enough for three people. The staff was attentive from the beginning and cut the meat and cooked it for us very well. Lots of sides were included with the meal including kimchi, cold and hot vegetables, and whole uncooked shrimp. I noticed the meat quality was superior to meat at other KBBQ restaurants. Additionally, the restaurant was very spacious, so it didn’t get too loud and we could hear each other talk.”
“Late late lunch on a really hot October afternoon.
These days, it's quite a challenge to find restaurants open mid to late afternoon (Most Japanese cuisine places frequently close to reset for dinner service).
Very simple non-fancy indoors, metal chairs and standard four-top tables, we needed a high chair which they provided.
Ordering is by QR code, and we used my phone to do that.
we asked our waiter to please separate the add-ons for Mentai Ebi Rice Bowl - a shrimp tempura with rice dish plus poached egg (for the toddler).
Brothless Ramen is quite an interesting concept - it's not a completely dry type of noodle dish, but rather served with a very rich sauce.
I got the mentaiko Cream mazesoba (Brothless ramen with chewy mochi noodle, mentaiko (Pollock fish fish roe), tobiko (Flying fish roe), spring mix (salad greens), seaweed (Nori), and green onion in a creamy sauce base).
This dish is only very mildly spicy.
I added a poached egg to my bowl. It was quite satisfying to break it and stir it into the noodles for even more creaminess!
My companion got the Spicy Deluxe Nagoya Mazesoba :
Brothless ramen with chashu (Roast pork - very tender), nori, and ajitama (Soft-boiled egg marinated in soy). Plus, spicy minced pork (it was piled high!), green onions, chives, fish powder, seaweed, garlic, and a poached egg. Free scoop of rice is for soaking up the saucy mazesoba (the menu states dine in only, but our waiter gave it to us to take home with our leftovers).
The cold tofu appetizer was so refreshing and a great starter.
Mentai takoyaki was delicious.
Also had plain edamame and French fries _ because there is no true kid's menu.
Very busy location - a lot of pedestrians and car traffic (this plaza has numerous food spots and a 99 Ranch market).”
“Delicious fresh pasta and tasty foods , attentive waiters and getting ready to try the desert”
“The taste of fresh fish with warm rice and crispy nori is unbelievable! If you want to try something different from hand rolls, try cryspy rice tartar, it's good. And my own lifehack for those taking care of calorie intake: I eat miso soup before my meal so I'm not that hungry anymore. Green tea is also a great drink because of its health benefits. Sometimes you have to wait for about a half of an hour to be seated, I believe you can check in on the website prior to arrival.”
“My favorite sushi restaurant in Irvine. The rolls are great and all the dishes are excellent. I especially recommend the Korean-style sashimi rice bowl and the Yose Nabe — both are must-try items.”
“Great service and great quality meat, fresh crisp veggies.
The servers were very friendly and attentive; they helped make suggestions on ordering quantity, helped cook some meat, and made the dining experience enjoyable.
The new item we tried tonight was the thousand-year egg with fresh shrimp paste; the server came to the tableside, mixed it for us, and then helped cook it. We have always liked the fresh paste, and this new creation was quite interesting and tasted pretty delicious. For the soup base, we had the duo pot with bone soup and a mild spicy soup, but even with the mild, it was still too spicy for us :) Lesson learned.”
“This has become my go-to canteen-style Chinese restaurant in Irvine — I literally know the menu by heart at this point! My coworkers and I often come here for dinner after work, and everything always hits the spot.
⭐ Grilled Skewers: Don’t underestimate their BBQ! It’s hard to find good skewers in Irvine, but these are legit — juicy, smoky, sizzling when they arrive. Must-tries: lamb skewers, chicken cartilage, and wings. I also love their nostalgic Chinese-style sausage (淀粉肠) — so good!
⭐ Stir-Fried Dishes: I’ve pretty much tried them all and none disappoint. Every dish has real wok hei (that smoky “breath of the wok”). Favorites: scallion beef, fish-flavored eggplant, and sweet & sour ribs (tastes like Hong Kong-style “sweet-sour pork”). Perfect with a bowl of rice.
⭐ Mini Hot Pot: No explanation needed — go for the spicy beef or golden soup beef pot. Big portions, packed with flavor, and super satisfying.
⭐ Chicken Soup Noodles: I order this every single time. The broth is rich and flavorful, with tender poached chicken and plenty of veggies. Comforting and delicious!
⭐ Dessert Discovery: Tried their Mango Sago Lava Bun for the first time — so good! Warm, creamy mango-coconut filling with chewy coconut bits. Not too sweet, just perfect (but be careful, it’s hot inside!).
The menu is huge — from northern to southern Chinese dishes — and everything we’ve tried has been great. The cold appetizers are also worth exploring. We came with five people, ordered a full table, and still had leftovers. Around $25 per person — definitely qualifies as an “Irvine Canteen” spot in my book!”
“Chan Chan is THE place to go for good service, amazing Korean food, and to have a good time. The food is spectacular with the perfect flavor as well as atmosphere. You won’t regret coming here. We enjoyed the food so much that we did their catering service which was just as perfect. Highly recommended!!”
“Houston Location: We arrived at our reservation and waited 10 minutes for the hostess. Once seated, we were uninstructed on how to order. Sushi chefs explained the process. Our waiter arrived 10 minutes after, taking our drink order. The app arrived before the waters, followed by the drinks after we ordered and received the sushi. The manager noticed us looking for our waiter but was often in the corner on his phone or socializing with the hostess. The sushi chefs were also on their phones while making the sushi, which was unhealthy. Despite the germy seasoning, the food was amazing.”
“I normally don’t enjoy shabu shabu, but I was surprised with how much I liked the the quality of the meats and the ambiance at Miyabi. Maybe I’ve just been cheating myself by not spending a little bit more for higher-quality shabu shabu. I’m a fan of their crispy garlic. Attentive and friendly service from Chris and Alyssa made for an excellent lunchtime dining experience.”
“My friend brought me to this place and I was excited to try. I ordered the tonkatsu and rice cake/dumpling soup. Not gonna lie, my expectations were shattered. I can't go back to my usual spot to enjoy the soup and tonkatsu anymore. Soup was so flavorful and tasty, the dumpling was massive, the tonkatsu is enormous. For the price, it was worth it. Would come back here again.”
“Nice Lunch served very fast after waiting for our turn to be seated for 10 minutes. Friendly Host and Waitresses.”
“Everything was amazing to the food, the atmosphere and service!”
“At first I was skeptical…but after a couple drinks and amazing food I was won over by the Bartender Gabby who will take the best care of you. Her upbeat attitude and amazing service was an absolute treat”
“Love visiting dPot unlimited when we are craving hot pot. They offer a great variety of broths, meats, appetizers and meat steamers (which consist of a square steamer basket filled with napa cabbage and choice of meat). The staff is always very attentive and the bar area is always fully stocked with sauces/condiments to prepare your dipping sauce, veggies, seafood and noodles. On top of the bar, they offer different types of packaged ramen. At the end of the meal, they offer a small cup of their delicious fruity slushie, which is very good to clean your palette and complete your meal.”
“Ji designed a Jurassic Park themed cake for my husband’s birthday. It was truly a work of art!!! All of the guests at our party were amazed when they saw it. The cake also tasted so incredible! Ji was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process very simple. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how it turned out. Thank you Ji!!!”
“Went with my parents for an early Christmas dinner and service was great… food was delicious… and atmosphere was on point!”
“We celebrated my daughter’s anniversary at your restaurant, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was beautifully prepared.
A special thank you to Nicole, our server, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She made our evening even more special with her great service and positive attitude.
We truly enjoyed our time and will definitely be back. Thank you for making our celebration memorable!”
“Large portion sizes, consistent taste, and fast service. My family frequently visits this restaurant even though we are not Irvine locals. That should tell a story on how great they are with their food and service.”
“Food was good. However, the prices are on the higher end for the amount of food they provide. The dining area is very calm and relaxing. Not many people when I was there around 5pm.
Happy Hour is Daily from 4:30pm to 6pm.”
“Very nice, upscale and festive Mexican food. On the pricey side for sure, but the food was really exceptional, service friendly and quite attentive, and the atmosphere high energy/loud (not necessarily a bad thing). Worthy of a repeat visit as a special occasion or an expense account.”
“Very relaxing, great atmosphere, cool place to hang out with friends after work.”
“I ordered the Baja fish tacos and the Watermelon Margarita. The tacos were amazing and the Watermelon Margarita was one of the best I have ever had! 😎”
“Braised pork, mapo tofu were very authentic.
Home cooking style foods.
Portions are plentiful.
Will try their dumplings next.”
“Had a great time having dinner with the steak was juicy and tender with an amazing great taste.”
“Everything was great! The service was friendly and very tentative! All the dishes we tried were great there wasn’t a bad dish we ordered the garlic chicken wings, golden bao, Anthony Bourdain pho and the combo pho can’t wait to try other Kei Concept restaurants”
“I’ve previously ordered take out from Thai Kitchen and enjoyed the generous portions and great options. I dined in-person and the service was great — very friendly and proactive with making sure I had everything I needed. Bamboo Royale and Pad Kee Mow are my favorite dishes. Highly recommend!”
“Excellent all the friendly staff
Kid-friendliness: Yes many games for boys 👦 and girls 👧

“Amazing Food. We ordered quite a few dishes and everything was delicious! The Peking Duck and green beans were my favorite!”
“Pizza is super good, everyone there is very friendly. I know not everyone likes anchovies, but if you do. The ones from here are way better than what we get at the grocery store. Yummm..”
“Exceptional Food & Outstanding Service!
I had an amazing experience at Niko Niko Sushi! My Rainbow Roll was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Eel & Avocado Roll was prepared well as well by Ponce, who’s clearly a talented chef.
Jenny, who handled both serving and hosting, was attentive, and incredibly efficient. Between dine-in guests and a steady flow of mobile orders, she and Ponce worked together like a well-oiled machine. It’s rare to see a two-person team handle that kind of volume with such professionalism and grace.
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, and the teamwork on display was impressive. Niko Niko Sushi is definitely a spot I’m looking forward to returning to soon!”
“Oishi Shabu Shabu in Irvine is a great spot when you’re craving a comforting hot pot experience with plenty of choices. They offer a wide variety of meats and other proteins, so it’s easy to customize your meal exactly the way you like it. The broths are flavorful without feeling too heavy, and there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer something rich and savory or lighter and more refreshing.
One of the things that really sets Oishi apart is how fun the atmosphere is, especially for families. They use a few robot servers to bring items to the table, and it adds a playful touch that kids absolutely love. It keeps the experience entertaining while still being efficient and well-run.
Overall, Oishi Shabu Shabu is a solid choice for anyone looking for a casual, enjoyable meal with good food and a bit of novelty. Whether you’re going with kids, friends, or just stopping by for a comforting solo dinner, it’s an easy place to enjoy fresh ingredients, good flavors, and a laid-back vibe that makes you want to come back.”
“We held our daughter and son-in-laws “ day after wedding” gathering for friends and family who couldn’t make it on their wedding day in 2021 (because of COVID limitations). We also just held a co-ed baby shower for them just this past weekend there.(2023). You now can reserve an area (for a fee) and get catered platters of food items. This made it so much easier than individual orders. Usually there is a band playing on Saturdays and Sundays. The staff were all nice and great to work with. It was great to have a large outdoor venue for their baby shower.”
“Amazing speakeasy with great craft cocktails and food! New York style, with nice music they have djs too! Super cute for a date night or with friends. Check it out, highly recommended!”
“Dry noodles is where it's at. The shrimp broth is too seafood-y for me. The chicken broth on the other hand was really good. Super rich. Almost tonkatsu-like. But still, stick with the dry noodles and add a bunch of the chili oil. The cod + dry noodles was excellent.”
“Really good ramen (I had the tonkatsu black) and takoyaki. It's a smaller restaurant but very cozy. Service was fine. I'd definitely recommend Yoshiharu to others.”
“This place has consistently good Yuk Kae Jang. I've been here several times to know they are pretty consistent. The side dishes are usually, Kim Chee, fish cake, and scallion salad. You don't have to wait long to get your food.”
“First time there and I love it because you can pick what I want, quantity of fresh vegetables, seafood, meat, fish cakes, meat balls etc. They will cook them and serve with the choice of soup I like 👍🏻”
“Its been about 2 years since I went here and now they have so much more amazing dishes on their menu. I tried their new arrival dishes such as their bulgogi fries which were crispy with delicious meat. Would have wished for a different type of cheese, but not mad about it! Their stir fried udon was al dente, which I loved and their korean fried chicken had a nice crunch. The service was fantastic and had a dim interior which is great for a late night group gathering.”

“We went to Habana for dinner when we went to OC to visit family. The place was beautiful and ambience classy. The food and drinks were wonderful! My favorite was the pepper shrimp dish. Absolutely awesome! Also, try the flan — you wouldn’t want to share it even if you were so full from your entree already.”
“The food was amazing and our server was great but i put in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and all the tables around us got a complimentary desert but i didn't. so that was a little disappointing. the food was great and their sangria was amazing!!”

“The quality of the food is similar to a steakhouse with quarter of the price. They grill everything fresh as you ordered it. It’s absolutely delicious! We ordered Steak and shrimp plates. The even ask you how would you like your steak cooked. The tender steak and the grilled shrimps we got was the best that I’ve ever had. Nice and clean restaurant with a big heated patio that they could be used for private events. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.”
“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Irvine. It's has a cozy, low-key feeling to the inside and the coffee and matcha are great. My go to is the egg coffee, which is sweet and very creamy. We also got a mango match which was refreshing and a raspberry pistachio croissant which was very good.
Love this place, definitely a staple in my coffee shop rotation.”
“1. The coffee drink would definitely add a lot of energy to any day! The sandwich was delicious!
2. The spot has business casual vibes since it is located inside a commercial building! The interior has high ceilings!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! During the lunch rush, my order took about 20 mins!
Note: I did not easily see if this spot has their own restrooms for customers!

“Absolutely love this place! Fernando was our server and he was so helpful and kind and patient with us. The food quality is phenomenal. Everything we ordered was delicious and piping hot. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and I highly recommend it. My kids absolutely loved the kids menu options and devoured their dinner. I will definitely return and cannot recommend this place enough!”

““I recently visited blu moon cafe and it was such a delightful experience! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with cozy seating that’s perfect for relaxing. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable, eager to make recommendations based on my preferences. I tried their coffee and it was exceptional—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. They also have a selection of fresh strawberries crepe that pair wonderfully with their coffee. Overall, a fantastic spot for any coffee lover. Highly recommended!”
“Pollen + Pour Café is pretty good, especially for a hotel café! I had the chocolate milk and a cinnamon bun, and both were delicious. The barista was awesome--super cool and really on top of things. The only minor annoyance was having to sign a restaurant-style receipt instead of just paying directly with my card, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. Great spot, definitely worth a visit. Five stars!”
“The best place in area to get traditional Chinese food! It's always fresh and not soggy. Menu has huge variety of dishes. But most important that prices are affordable and reasonable! I go here almost twice a month, will not stop as long as I'm living in that neighborhood.”
