Service, food, and atmosphere was excellent. We ordered 2 fried noodles, cucumber salad, and beef noodle soup. The beef noodle soup was very aromatic with very well cooked noodles, and flavorful beef. The fried noodles were good but could’ve been boiled a bit longer but the flavor was nice. Cucumber noodles had an amazing taste, with a bomb of flavor. They were savory, spicy, and sweet. Serve was great and always checked up on us. The atmosphere was filled with kind people, with calm music, comfortable seats, and overall very clean. Dishes were also at a reasonable price. Great place for everyone!”

Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!”

“Fantastic Mediterranean food!! I had the gyro and my friend had the chicken kabobs. Both were amazing but I gotta say, hands down, the best gyro I ever had. It was huge and I actually ate it all! Service was amazing, everyone was so nice and we actually had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was warm and welcoming as well. The baklava ice cream is a MUST TRY!

PS they have an enclosed patio which was perfect for friend's kids to play while we enjoyed our meal. Huge plus!”

“Such a cute spot next to UCI! The interior decor is gorgeous — such a vibe! They have beer, sake, and COFFEES! Everything on the menu looks soo good. Many of the rolls use the same ingredients so that’s an area for potential improvement, but didn’t take away from the experience.

Service was great, our server was very kind and attentive. I didn’t love that water for the table was already sitting on each table when we arrived, it looked like it had been there all day. The ginger and wasabi was a similar situation, it didn’t look fresh, but when we requested more the server immediately replaced it!

It was so quiet and chill in this area, and they have outdoor seating as well where families were hanging out. Very mellow and cute.

“I recently visited Mubong-ri Soondae-guk and decided to try their cheese tonkatsu instead of the usual soondae-guk, and I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying the meal was. The breading on the pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and once I cut into it, the generous amount of cheese inside melted out beautifully, adding a great visual appeal. The meat itself was tender and not chewy at all, making it a dish that anyone would enjoy, and the harmony with the provided sauce was excellent. Since it is a restaurant specializing in soondae-guk, I didn't have high expectations, but I was truly shocked by the high quality, which rivaled that of specialized tonkatsu restaurants. The savory flavor of the cheese filling the mouth was a real treat. If you are looking for a hearty and delicious meal, I highly recommend trying the cheese tonkatsu at Mubong-ri. I will definitely be coming back!”

“I’m really pleased with Le Shrimp Irvine. Their Hainanese chicken rice is the best I’ve had locally so far—the rice was flavorful, the ginger sauce was excellent, and the broth was rich, though slightly on the salty side.
My only disappointment was the chicken. I’m not really a fan of plain breast meat; I prefer the bone-in breast and drumstick pieces with skin, which I was told was an option. I was also informed they were out of the skinless breast meat, so I expected to receive the bone-in option I had ordered, but I still ended up with breast meat.
Overall, I’d rate the Hainanese chicken rice a 4.0. It tastes very authentic, with that Malaysian/Singaporean style I really enjoy.

I also tried the Shrimp Broth Trio Noodles with veggies, prawns, prawn balls, and wontons, and I loved the shrimp flavor. The broth reminded me of the Har Mee soup base I’ve had before, but with a richer, creamier, ramen-style twist. The fusion works well, and the flavor was delicious, but with a bowl packed with noodles, shrimp, wontons, and toppings, it became a bit too rich by the end. I would personally prefer it a little lighter and more brothy, but overall it was still very satisfying.

I’m excited to try more dishes. I also heard the owner is Singaporean and the chef is from Malaysia—fabulous!”

Everything we ordered was excellent. We knew the crispy lamb buns (aka Chinese Burger) was going to be good, but not sure about the $20 fried pork which was #1 chef recommendations, it turned out to be delightful.

The lamb soup came out first, it was tasty and refreshing, Liang pi was cool, you don’t get it in many places. String beans were nicely done, a delicious necessity to balance out the meal.

The first bite of crispy lamb buns was a delightful surprise: crunchy layered thin bread and lamb with slightly cumin, it was an amazing feast.

Fried pork is an even more interesting surprise that I would not spoil. Ha ha. Try it to find out!

Service was fine, we were seats and water was provided quickly. Orders are done by scanning QR code, browsing the online menu, and order directly. I find this efficient but lacking some personal interactions.

We did purposely ordered a lot for the two of us, we obviously didn’t finish. I was surprised the bill wasn’t as much as I expected. We got a lot of leftovers to go and enjoyed rest at home.”

My first TP Tea experience happened at their Cupertino storefront and I remember how crazy and wild the line was for that grand opening. It’s crazy to think there’s over 5 locations for the Bay Area now. Woohoo!! Now, onto the drinks! I am a HUUUUGE fan of their wintermelon Tieguanyin tea. I know, it’s a simple drink that’s really hard to mess up, but for some reason, the way it’s brewed at TP Tea reigns supreme in my eyes. I also like the touch of Tieguanyin tea. Fun fact: I never knew or heard of Tieguanyin until coming across TP Tea! If you like a blend of aromatic tea notes with a hint of sweetness from wintermelon, I cannot recommend this drink enough. However, if you’re in the mood for a milk tea, I highly recommend the strawberry milk tea! It has a nice blend of milk and fragrant tea, with the acidity and sweetness of REAL strawberries. And if you really wanted to make any drink a winner, you’re going to want to add QQ noodles in your drink! I don’t know what makes it so good, but it’s definitely chewy and fun to have in your drink. I also find it a unique boba topping compared to the other boba shops in town. Got myself a wintermelon Tieguanyin tea and Sunshine ice tea for my BOGO drink! #TPTeaBayArea #TPTEA”

“We traveled all the way from Dubai and my wife is the consummate Hello Kitty fanatic for over 20 years - so much so, everyone actually calls her Kitty! So needless to say, this was an absolutely necessary pilgrimage!

The shop is as cute and quirky as you’d expect though a little sparse with no seating though I presume this is to accommodate long lines. Fortunately we didn’t have to wait long to place our order. We ordered a Strawberry Dream and a S’mores Chocolate Milk as well as a Strawberry Tart to go. They were delicious albeit a little too sweet for our liking. We opted to buy one of their Blue California T-shirts and we had to ask for several sizes as they seem to run large. My wife typically wears medium to large but we ended up taking a small. The staff attending to us seemed annoyed that we kept asking for other sizes but I suppose I would be a little annoyed as well in that situation.

My wife loved it so much we ended up visiting twice, and it certainly was one of the highlights of our California excursion!”

My only tip for them is to serve the dessert bowls chilled!”

I asked for light ice and they offer the option to either fill the space with more milk or cream, so I went the cream which is amazing and had a great flavor. The matcha itself has a nice earthy taste and was noticeable. The staff were very friendly and offered some recommendations. It only took a few minutes for me to receive my drink. Overall nice experience.”

I saw past photos posted by other users on Google & Yelp showing a matcha drink, but when I inquired about it, they were not serving it. I did not see many salad options. I would not come back anytime soon because its not a convenient location and hours are also limited.”

I love a nice strong fruit flavor when I order a smoothie of any kind and wanted to treat myself after a long work week. Ended up going for the solid uber eats deal and got two smoothies for 15 bucks. Overall taste popped, it actually came with a carrier (which is a low bar surprisingly with smoothie places doing online orders nowadays) and solid for the size given. I'd love to go in again someday soon and try the rest of their menu.”

“Came here for an impromptu double date mid-day during lunchtime. We got in queue via Yelp, and the wait was roughly 45 min. I got the chirashi and a blue crab handroll, and both were excellent. The chirashi is a satisfying flavorbomb that makes it hard to take a pause. When you get towards the end of your bowl, they pour a little crab broth into our remaining rice as a finisher. It is simply divine and something that makes me want to keep coming back for more. The blue crab handroll is great. It's a really nice creamy starter if you're looking for a quasi appetizer to the chirashi.”
