“I am puzzled by a lot of the poor reviews. I was working late and looking for something close by when most places were closed. I got takeout and the two staff I dealt with were very kind and friendly. I had the shrimp quesadilla and given the price I was expecting a smaller snack sized portion. The size was large and the order was delicious. A quesadilla is a pretty basic dish, but this was one of the best I've had. Peppers, tomatoes, onion, cheese and shrimp inside. Pico and guac on top. I can't speak to the other food but this was fantastic!“
“This was my first Michelin star restaurant that I have experienced that I heard about from Tik Tok. It lived up to the hype. I recommend going early or after lunch as it packed during lunch time. The line is out the door. The food is delicious and I would recommend to any seafood lover. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food in each dish. If you are the the downtown area it definitely a must try. It right next door to the DMV so it not a lot of parking so you have to drive around to a spot open up if you go during lunch time. It is loud in there as it is a food hall with about 6 other restaurants in the same building. It is still a good experience and worth giving a try.“
“I showed up late so I didn't get to try everything, but the shrimp dumplings were a joy! It's dark as hell in there so if you're over 30, take a seeing-eye friend as your dining companion. Gorgeous, decor and the music finished out the mood. The parking garage that offers valet is just steps away, so don't let the location deter you. Great choice for a date.“

“This is the spot!! Honestly, everything about it was 5 stars. We started off with their crab cakes and the featured mango ceviche; delicious, fast, and so fresh. The server walked us through the menu, including all of their featured specials of the day which all sounded amazing. I tried the mango mojito and the Brazilian mojito; the mango one was just a little sweet for my liking but still excellent and the Brazilian one was heavier on the lime flavor (less sweet) and I loved it! Next, we ordered the shrimp special of the day which came with a delicious rice pilaf, vegetable medley, and a shrimp and veggie large skewer in a delicious salsa verde, plus plantains. This dish was a great sized portion, definitely could share this between 2 people, and it was absolutely scrumptious. We also had the shrimp pizza, also great, and finally the coconut flan. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone and I will be back!“

The chicken held me down for two months as I was in LA work and needed a protein source to use for meal prep. “We love Gloria's. The ambience is not what you come for! Service is very good and staff is super nice and friendly. We love the fundido and it is addictive! Guacamole is tangy and delicious. Chips are okay. The enchiladas,tacos, and the carnitas are to die for. Margaritas are refreshing and strong. We will definitely be back!“

“One of the best local pupusa places in Lynwood/South Gate area. Their pupusas are huge and full of cheese that pulls out when you break the pupusas. Their curtido is very flavorful. They also serve a delicious Carne Guizada with rice, beans, salad, and had made delicious fat tortillas. One more item that my wife and I like to order and now our son loves too is their sopa de pollo that comes with a lot of vegetables, two pieces of chicken and most impotently, they serve it with little coditos pasta inside. it brings the sopa to another level especially when you are sick or it's just a sopa kind of weather. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. Will definitely keep coming back here as long they keep making delicious food.“

“This has been my go to restaurant whenever I need an authentic Guatemalan Pick me up. I’ve been going here for over 10 years, the food and flavor have not disappointed at all. I always get their tortilla with chorizo and beans but my dad has ordered the garnachas and other family members have ordered chow mein and caldos and everyone had been satisfied each and every time! So far I can say I will always recommend this place to anyone and everyone is SO DELICIOUS and worth it! Service can be a hit or miss and ambiance, well they always have music lol that’s a plus.“
“Nice clean market with South American snacks and sandwiches. They have a large variety of fresh meat. I got some snacks along with some sandwiches and empanada. Sandwiches are made with French style bread. The meat in the sandwiches were good. I'll definitely go back for the sandwiches and will get meat to cook at home. A patron said he always come here to buy meat to cook at home; they have really good meat. I really liked the chicken and potato empanada and the Lomo steak sandwich. The Argentina sausage reminds of me portuguese sausage, tasty.“
