“More like 3.5 for us but that bread alone is with .5 stars hahaHad the beef stew with bread so I could take home the stew.It was made with riblets that were slow cooked and very tender. The soup was good, can't say it was my favorite, but I would consider eating it again if I were there.The bread. Can we talk about this bread? My goodness the bread was fantastic. I bet someone here knows where they get it. Imo ALL Bahn Mi should be served with this bread. It had a super thin, but crisp crust all around, very crisp but thin. This is the kind of bread that delivers the crisp without slicing up your mouth like bait. The inside was fluffy and soft...superb.The Bun Cha Giao Thit Nuoung (noodles with BBQ pork and imperial rolls) came with a fair amount of meaty and tender pork, flash grilling it would really elevate the flavor because it has good flavor. The sauce could use a little more fish sauce.The purple drink is a taro drink made in house. It tastes ok but the taro which settles at the bottom is very gritty. I think they should make it into a paste before using it in a drink. Like the taro paste you get at Bambu or what is served in Vietnamese desserts.“

“It was a rainy day when I walked into this restaurant. Almost felt like actually being in Hawaii in a way. The host gave us an friendly aloha and we sat down. We noticed the decor definitely had the "tiki" vibe. This place has all the Hawaiian food you would normally find inside the 48 contiguous states. I didn't anything like poi, which is more of an acquired taste but you're more likely to find that in Hawaii. I got Loco Moco and my fiancèe Guava Steak. For the appetizers, we got the spam musubi with eggs. I preferred the Guava Steak over the the Loco Moco. Not that they're comparable dishes but it's more suited to my taste palate. It was more juicy. Not that there was anything wrong with the Loco Moco, it tasted great. But I ate it many times at other restaurants, it didn't really stand out to me. If you're just looking for Hawaiian vibes with food, this is a good place to check out.“

“I ordered takeout through Uber Eats from this place, so can't comment about the service and atmosphere of this place. I got the spicy dragon roll, gyoza and salmon teriyaki entree. The gyoza was standard and it was a slight let down because it wasn't warm, but that's completely on the Uber driver as he had to make a few deliveries on the way. The spicy dragon roll was disappointing, it wasn't spicy at all and the sushi roll's rice didn't appear spot on. The salmon teriyaki was standard and decent. However the miso soup was plain bad, too watery and lacking flavor.“

“Went on Monday evening, it was full packed. We had to wait for 15-20 mins. Worth of wait time. Food quality and taste is good. Even its Nepali restaurant I felt Indian taste. We ate kothey momos, veg chowmen and. Panner chilly. All were delicious, especially kothey momos. You must also try masala tea, it was fantastic. Service was okay as it was busy. “The star dish: black bean noodles. If a dish has me hooked on every bite, I can literally make space even on a full stomach. This dish was 'it's: savory, 'al dente' noodles. Well made and a simple dish. The Sweet and Sour Pork (Beijing Style). Is what the restaurant is well known for. The big difference with this dish is that there's no red coloring in the sauce. I like how they served the sauce on top of the pork. This prevented the meat from becoming soggy from being drenched in sauce. I was not too impressed with the garlic beef. My guess is that they used some sort of tenderizer, which threw off the texture of the meat. It was okay, but not impressive. I went on a Saturday afternoon, when the restaurant was crowded. Wait time was around 30 minutes. The restaurant is nice and clean.“

Noodles were fresh, veggies and meat were tender, and the sauce was very flavorful.As an appetizer, we ordered the Gosh Naan, which was a pleasant surprise. “Food is reliably very good. Used to come here all the time when we lived in Sunnyvale. Moved away and still come back every time we're in the area. Without fail we always order the eggplant tofu, and the vegetarian Kung Pao "chicken" and vegetable chow mein. All of these are exceptionally tasty.My only complaint is that the bathroom needs deep cleaning. Like seriously get some professional help cleaning the bathroom stall walls, tile floors and grout, and buy some new toilet paper holders in where broken ones are. Also update the sink faucet, clean the sink and get paper towels In addition to that "stupid' wall fan. Nobody wants to touch the door handle. Provide paper towels so we don't have to grab toilet seat covers to open the exit door. And while you're at it, put a waste basket by the door where we can throw whatever we used to open the door with. Thank you.I will still come back as the food is very good, but if the bathroom cleanliness still sucks the next time I go, that will be the last time I come back.“

“Expected dishes to be more expensive.Rice balls and fusion pizza were very crispy, rice balls had strong butter flavor, if you like that this is very good, 2 for $11.Cold udon was chewy, $20.Pizza was thin and crispy, strong ham taste with noticeable crab flavor. “Darla Cafe is one of the best Asian-Fusion brunch spots I’ve been to in the Bay Area. My favorite was Aina in SF if the OG foodies remember it. Darla may be my new favorite for Asian-fusion brunch.Their loco moco is a good find and one that I like outside of Hawaii. The matcha pancakes and French toast were made perfectly. Plating is impressive here. The drinks are solid— the yok lor coffee woke me up for the day. I can tell they took care and gave high attention to detail in crafting their menu and flavors here.The inside has a clean aesthetic look and there is outdoor patio seating perfect for the spring time. “Went with my kiddos for lunch here. Ordered the Miso tofu Banh Mi as that was one of only two options available. Also got the vegetarian egg roll which was okay. Came out hot but wasn't that fresh as the sandwich. Our banh mi was really good, fresh ingredients, tofu was great and quite filling too. There is no outside seating and very limited inside seating. Service was good. I loved the plants they had inside specially the fiddle leaf fig tree that was teaming with so many leaves. I would love to know the secret from the owner for that, please!!!“

“Vinum is one of the best places to hang out or go on a date any night. We went there on Friday and met Henry, our server. He was super nice and attentive. Henry went over the menu with us and recommended a few drinks. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The prices were decent, and the portions were good for sharing. The restaurant wasn't noisy, and there was a good view near the window. Henry always checked on us and was very friendly. Even though Friday was a busy night for him, he still constantly checked on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the place and the service so much that we came back on Tuesday night. We met Henry again, and once again, he gave us excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this place for the food, drinks, ambience, and of course, the customer service. Check them out if you're undecided on where to go for a date night!“

It would be a go-to for something to ease your hunger as soon as possible, as most of the orders are efficiently delivered.No doubt, as foodies, me and my family enjoyed the food overall, but what was significant was the number of vegetarian options.In Korean cuisine, there aren’t so many of them… However, at BibimBowl, we found around as many no-meat options as meaty options in each category. “This is one of my favorite ramen spots in the South Bay. It is inside a grocery store, so expect a food court style seating arrangement. The food comes out quickly, and on days they take longer there is a whole grocery store and book store to look through. They are friendly and always get the order correct. We usually get the 36 and the 63 when we go, and I personally love how the spicy char sui miso soup!“

“I’m glad I decided to try Tommy Thai! I picked up take-out for a party of 6, and everyone had good things to say about the food. Ordering through their website was straightforward, and the dishes were ready exactly when I wanted them. I got 5 dishes (two curries, two noodle dishes, and a fried rice) and it was more than enough; the portions were flavorful and truly generous. Plenty of vegetarian options, too!“

“Omg I went in there yesterday and my ODD was in full effect!! I have to apologize to the young lady at the counter who had to deal with me. I was definitely confusing and confused my damn self. I came in from an online order and when I arrived I ordered 3 more bowls. I didn't know what size or flavor I wanted so that was already confusing first thing, Then the girl was going be cool and charge me a soda to pay the difference for the size and flavor changes I flew off the handles cuz for some reason that computed in my mind as free soda She saw I grabbed a soda and she proceeded to charge me for two. “This place is so good. We always get the spicy tuna hand rolls and spicy tuna nachos for a quick bite - very filling. I had the Geisha roll- so yummy, which was too big so saving the other half for the next day is always the plan. Also all the sauces are the best especially the kimchichurri - perfection!! “This place had braised pork belly so good... this dish usually we vietnamese cook at home, but now u can find it here... the pork belly was so tender, soft n flavorful... i used to come here when they jus started open back in the days, the flavor and everything is the same, stil delicious, but the price go up on every item.... “One of many Korean restaurants in the Bay Area we had to try on our list. This one had a good list of choices and their dishes were pretty big except the chicken wings which always seem to always take the longest to cook.The garlic wings were good but some pieces so tiny that they should not count towards the fifteen pieces. The seafood pancake was good flavor and good size. I really liked the kimchi fried rice, spicy pork and Premium LA Kalbi. The Steamed Egg had no flavor and it had too much soup in it which I thought was weird. We ordered sodas and their Lychee Cocktail for twenty bucks which was a carafe pitcher size. It was pretty good and strong; nothing fancy. We also ordered Bibimap which was pretty big.Choice this Korean restaurant for mom's bday and was satisfied. The prices were on the expensive side. Not a place for a date as it's loud here but good for groups and drinking. Service is ok. They forgot one of our items but at least, they didn't charge us; we did have a big group though. Haha they even told us politely that we had to go as they had awaiting customers. The place is small, and can get crowded fast so I recommend to come early but lots of parking available.“
“Located inside fugetsu, you can wander through the selection of food and anime figurines and novelties in the back. The food is arranged by hot foods, refrigerated foods, and room temperature foods. This is a takeout place, no tables. Located in the same plaza as Mitsuwa, so parking can be hit or miss. I opted for the okonomiyaki bento which came with a gyu-don, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki. Everything was quite good. I came around 5 and everything still looked and tasted fresh. Might try some of the chirashi offerings in the future. The staff is very nice and greet you as you come in and ring you up pretty quickly. I have never seen a long line. I like that they let you look through the selections and dont approach you in the store. Suits my introverted nature.“

“I kept passing by here so finally decided to give it a try!Plenty of parking next to the restaurant, and I was a little surprised the place was quite empty on a Sunday at noon. Maybe most people take it to go? The restaurant itself is nice and bright, all the tables looked clean and inviting. The server was very friendly and helped me with the menu since it was my first time there.The dim sum dishes looked interesting, but I wouldn't be able to try many dishes just by myself, so I ended up ordering the chicken garlic noodles. I was surprised there was no way to add tip on the credit card payment, and had to dig out some cash.The food came out pretty quickly, the chicken portion was... small. The food isn't exactly cheap, my entree plus a drink was $20 pre-tip. The garlic noodles portion was good, but just didn't have many pieces of chicken. With 0 other sides (veg?) the dish just looked a little sad. Anyhoo, the food itself tasted good so I'm still happy with the meal. I took about half the noodles home to eat with other stuff later.Overall a pleasant experience! Will come back and try some other items next time!“

“ Red Hot Chilli Pepper lived up to its name with intense food! I started with the pomegranate ginger ale and mango mojito which were both just soooo good. The pomegranate ginger ale tasted like it was made in house with heaps of ginger and a cool red color. It was a large portion for its price as well. The mango mojito was also very good with a concentrated mint flavor and loads of mango! It was rather tiny for its price though so I definitely reccomend the ginger ale more. Then we started with the Szechwan fried rice which was good. It wasn’t anything too special, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly oily like most fried rices are. It was a good vessel for the curry like dishes we bought. The Manchurian paneer was ok. The texture of the Manchurian sauce threw me off a little bit as it was a little gelatinous sticky, but it had a nice flavor and went well with the warm paneer. The honey chicken was also pretty good. The chicken was rather dry though and I didn’t enjoy the sauce too much, but again when placed with the fried rice it was still ok. Then we ended off with the fried ice cream which I would definitely reccomend as it was both unwise and tasty. With a crispy warm exterior and cold gooey interior. Tip: DONT OPEN THE BOTTLE AT YOUR TABLE it costs extra money I made the mistake and was stuck with paying $6 for some water:( Overall the food was nothing special, but their drinks were amazing and the service and ambiance were really cute especially for large gatherings so I would still reccomend to others. “We came on a Monday evening which is a slow night in general so the restaurant was very empty. We ordered the Bulgogi bowl, spicy pork bowl and cheese Bulgogi fries. It was a great value meal because of the amount of food there was in each bowl. The food tasted good but since it was a slow evening for them, I think a lot of their food is made in advance. Elements like the meat and the egg don't come out super hot and fresh tasting. Maybe it would be different if it was a busier night and they were making items to order. The Bulgogi cheese fries were decent but the areas with the cheese got soggy really quickly. Probably wouldn't order that again. I would recommend this place for the great value and comforting food. I just wish some of the key components of the bowls were made to order so it's hot and fresh tasting.“

“Hole in the wall corner shop that serves amazing comfort lunch! The chicken katsu was super crispy and juicy and didn't taste "processed." The fried pork cutlet was flavorful, not too oily, and juicy as well. I thought it would have been a bit more crispy but I guess that's because it wasn't deep fried, but it was still great. I loved this one and the fish cake that came with it! While the bentos may look small, it's so filling. You get a bit of everything - carbs, protein, appetizer and a little sweet something. Everything is made to order so the wait for the orders may or may not come out fast depending what you order and who is in front of you.“

“Good sushi joint. The rolls were of considerable size. I had the Mizu Jumbo and Green Dragon roll. They were delicious. For dessert, I had their Res Bean ice cream. I've never had it before but it wasn't so overwhelmingly sweet. It was right in the middle when it came to sweetness. It’s a large portion good for two, the ice cream. The place is considerable in size with covered outside seating. It's on a corner of a major street so it can be loud outside. The parking space is shared with outer establishments so it's tight. But I highly recommend this place.“

The stir-fried squid [Ojingeo-bokkeum] had the perfect spiciness, while the Galbijim had ttoekboki in it and it was delicious.Aside from the Galbijim, we love the spicy pig's trotters (aka pig feet), it was so tender and savory with the perfect balance of spicy & sweetness. “Food! Service! Ambiance! Infinite out of 10! Amazing service and the homie that was working his second day deserves a raise already. The guy is dedicated and passionate at work. All staff are friendly. Food left me speechless it's been almost 5 and a half years since I ate. Filled my mouth with happy memories and back when I was still wild af. “The food was actually really flavorful. This place only takes credit card and you have to use a kiosk to order, they do not take your order for you. You can tell most people order online in advance. It did take a little longer than I expected to get my food as there is no seating inside, only outside. So you have to just stand there until it's ready - it was about 10 minute wait and there were 3 people ahead of me. So it's not going to be a fast in and out like a Chipotle.Overall the food was really good with average/medium sized portions. I would recommend this to others if you are in the mood for some Thai!“

“Folks who go to Asian Box go because the food is reliable and tasty. This is NOT what this review is about (because it is still reliable and tasty). This review is for the service. Door Dash screwed up my order (not surprising) so after realizing that I was NOT going to get my Asian Box order delivered, I drove to the restaurant to place the order again. I spoke with Wendy, the Executive General Manager, and she was understanding, kind, and most importantly, professional. She immediately helped me with my order and expediated it so quickly, I should have just gone to the restaurant to place my order instead of relying on Door Dash. Also, I want add that their crew quickly put together 6 orders in 5 minutes. Go there if you want to be treated kindly and respectfully because fewer and fewer places nowadays seem to remember that service is just as important as food quality and taste.“
