“Overall wonderful experience; I will return. The ambiance was quaint and clean. A big plus were the tablecloths! I love the tablecloths! Menu had a good variety and prices were reasonable. My food was fresh and prepared as requested. Their hours were good, so I was able to have a late lunch with a friend. Staff was helpful and professional. Plenty of parking.“

“The food here was just as good as the other two locations we tried.The employees are VERY friendly, and the service was great.The outdoor seating area here is definitely the best of the three we've gone to so far. Shady and cozy, with a nice fence to isolate the patio from the nearby traffic. Also very dog friendly.The ONLY problem, and sadly, it's kind of a big one, is the parking here is a nightmare.If you are biking or walking, this one is perfect. But trying to park... yikes!I get that there's not really much they can do about it, but it was such a huge issue for us, we probably won't come back to this one. BUT please, if you are close enough to walk or bike, you should give it a go, it's a really nice location otherwise.“

“This small Korean establishment is in the heart of Japan Town in SJ. We ordered the Flaming Fondue Chicken, Bibimbap, and the Ramen Tofu Soup. Like every Korean spot, it's always a good choice to go family-style and share everything. This trinity combination of rice, chicken, and soup was excellent. The Bibimbap with gochujang was flavorful and included the 'burnt rice' so you're given an extra crunch per bite. The Ramen Tofu soup (medium spice) was a great compliment to the bibimbap. It wasn't too spicy and just right. It also came with a raw egg you break into the soup so it slowly cooks. The Flaming Fondue Chicken was not really spicy (although it says it is), but I guess it spice levels varies from person to person. The cheese on it was a neat addition to the chicken. The server also made sure to check up on us often which our visit more welcoming. Would definitely come back!“

“Din Tai Fung is a top contender for my favorite Chinese restaurant. Their Hot & Sour Soup and Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao are absolute must-tries. These perfectly formed soup dumplings are a burst of flavor in every bite!Today, I ventured beyond my usual favorites and tried the Cod Dumpling and Vegetable & Pork Wonton Soup. Both were delicious, but they didn't quite reach the same level of wow-factor as my usual picks.Pro tip: To avoid a wait, consider reserving a table in advance. They also have bar seating for a more casual option during off-peak hours.Overall, Din Tai Fung is a fantastic restaurant with consistently delicious food. Love it!“

“More like 3.5 for us but that bread alone is with .5 stars hahaHad the beef stew with bread so I could take home the stew.It was made with riblets that were slow cooked and very tender. The soup was good, can't say it was my favorite, but I would consider eating it again if I were there.The bread. Can we talk about this bread? My goodness the bread was fantastic. I bet someone here knows where they get it. Imo ALL Bahn Mi should be served with this bread. It had a super thin, but crisp crust all around, very crisp but thin. This is the kind of bread that delivers the crisp without slicing up your mouth like bait. The inside was fluffy and soft...superb.The Bun Cha Giao Thit Nuoung (noodles with BBQ pork and imperial rolls) came with a fair amount of meaty and tender pork, flash grilling it would really elevate the flavor because it has good flavor. The sauce could use a little more fish sauce.The purple drink is a taro drink made in house. It tastes ok but the taro which settles at the bottom is very gritty. I think they should make it into a paste before using it in a drink. Like the taro paste you get at Bambu or what is served in Vietnamese desserts.“

“Your typical hole-in-the-wall ethnic gem where the food is consistently authentic and very good. The service is also on point. It's nice to get a great Pho joint that doesn't require traveling all the way to Hanoi or even East San Jose. Highly recommend!Parking: Strip mall style parking so if the other mall businesses are also busy one has to park on the side street instead of the main lot.“

“I'm a huge fan of Erik’s Deli! Their sandwiches are the bomb. But let me tell you, not all Eric's Daily spots are equal. It really depends on the chef. Anyway, my boyfriend and I grabbed our Abbot's Habbit Sandwiches, and man, they were delicious as always. Oh, and I gotta give a shoutout to the guy at the cashier who took our order. “Amazing ox tail udon. Very tender. I added a poached egg to it. Broth clean and not salty. We also had chicken karaage and fried whole squid, which was also tender and flavorful. If you are into udon, this is the place to get something that is different from the others. This place gets busy so it's a good idea to get there at opening.“

“Great comfort food! Customers get to choose the type (size/shape) of noodles they want, from the small round to the flat belt noodles. I tried the Beef Noodles with the small round noodles. The size was quite generous. The soup was tasty and the meat was tender. I will certainly be back to try the flat noodles, my fave kinda noodles.“

“One of the must try restaurants I was looking forward to due many recommendations from friends. Upon arrival in late afternoon, we were seated right away. There were plenty of space, tables, and nice ambiance to talk in. Our group all ordered the Bun Bo Hue. The unique thing that came along was a small plate of spice and shrimp paste to adjust the flavor to your liking, which I thought was a nice touch. On first taste, the dish was flavorful, soup was on the sweeter side, and there was a generous amount of meats and noodles underneath. I ordered a nice strong coffee and sugar cane juice to finish the nice meal as well. I would definitely recommend and come back again if I'm back in the area.“

“I've been eating their pho for years. True to its name, their pho is very good. Recently, I decided to try something else on their menu, Bun Cha Ca Thia La. It's a rice noodle soup with fried fish paste and fresh dill. I love the taste! The portion comes with slices of fresh white fish, fried tasty fish paste, tomato, fried tofu and pineapple. The broth is clear but rich flavor and delicious. It quickly becomes one of my favorites beside Bun Rieu from this place when I want to something light instead of beef pho.“

Even the lettuce was not iceburg so you weren't splashed each time you had a bite. The pho broth had a good flavor, like it was cooking all morning. Next time I may try bun bo Hue.“

“Food was soo good and comforting. We got the old pot sauerkraut fish soup and coconut lava balls. Both were super yummy and fulfilling and a really good portion size. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised by the coconut lava balls - crispy on the outside and warm and lightly sweet on the inside side, with tapioca in the filling as well. It was really well balanced so it didn't feel heavy even though it was lightly fried. Will definitely be one of my go to desserts. Service was efficient and friendly. But don't expect anything too attentive as it gets pretty busy and they have a lot of customers to serve. Ambiance was a bustling, family-friendly environment. You can tell that they get a lot of regulars and people come here to eat good food. A bit of a hidden gem. Parking - there is a small parking lot but it can get filled up pretty quickly. I circled around and was lucky enough to catch someone leaving and take their spot, but can be a bit of a struggle.“

The order via DoorDash failed and I ended up calling the restaurant direct and placing the order for 12 people to be delivered in less than 1.5 hours. “So much deliciousness in our order, from the Garlic String Bean to the Shanghai Pan Fried Soup Dumpling (6) to the Har Gow Shrimp Dumpling (8) to the Pork Dumpling W. Napa Cabbage ALL EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. However, the Salt & Pepper Fish, though very tasty, had an oddly sweet-tasting batter - just weird. But overall, this place serves amazingly good food.“

“Seafood Tofu is pretty good. I always get spicy for my soup and they make it spicy enough for the kick and not overpowering. The broth had the right taste of the cooked seafood of shrimp and clams. They add on egg that pretty much cook though so breaking the yolk wasn't possible. Maybe I'll ask them to stir it next time or leave it out. It comes with purple rice and add an order of spicy cucumber cause I didn't see Kim Chi on machine to order. I'd definitely be coming back.“

“I was killing time in Valley Fair and have always heard about Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles and loved they had a location in a mall food-court! “I was recommended by a friend to try the restaurant's duck noodle soup. My family went with 4 adults and 1 baby and the service arranged seats very quickly and enthusiastically. We ordered rice vermicelli soup with bamboo shoots and duck salad x 4 ?The food is served quickly, the noodles are served with a dipping sauce that goes very well with the duck salad. “Excellent flavors in all the dishes we ordered. Tom kha with chicken, pumpkin curry with beef, pad see eew with shrimp and eggplant basil stir fry with shrimp. The sauces were out of this world. Shrimp succulent and perfectly cooked. Only shortcomings are that the beef was a tad tough and the noodles overdone that they were completely broken up… but it was so delicious that it didn’t stop us.“

I got the Cali Calisco which is a turkey sandwich that comes with bacon, white mozerella cheese, red onions, lettuce, mayonnaise & avacado. It comes on a crunchy dutch roll. I’ve eaten at several Chinese restaurants in the area including some of my favorites, Queens in Mountain View, Grandmas kitchen, Soong Soong, and blue sky (my favorite but too far from my home)This one is going into the rotation. I got the sour cabbage and fish tofu soup. Tofu and fish were soft and flavorful. Second was the cauliflower with pork in hotpot. Again subtle delicious flavor with tender pork. Last was the cumin lamb. It smells very fragrant and when you eat it you taste the cumin but it isn’t overwhelming. It was a great balance of flavor.“

The noodles here were not too expensive, 3 bowls totaling about $60 with tip. Here, you have the choice of noodle options, the flat traditional noodle, or the thin angel hair pho noodle. I ordered the angel hair thin rice noodle as this is what I usually order. The soup broth was done well, with a decent amount of meat and noodles. The spring rolls were large and very satisfying. The service is done with via robot or by human. The robot is very accurate, pulling up to mere inches from the table and turning to allow you to grab your order! Very innovative and fresh new idea to use robots to deliver pho.The restaurant itself is nestled in San Jose, right on King Road. It's in a VERY popular Vietnamese little strip mall, so parking may be tight. Inside, it's fairly loud, with music playing, people talking, and robots delivering food. If I lived near here, this would compete for one of the most regular places I would frequent! Give it a try!“
