“Friendly, affordable and great ambiance. Easily the liveliest place around on a weekend night, and the pizza we had was tasty and well above our expectations as travelers. Nicely sprawling outdoor scene with live music (when we were there) behind the little building where they take your orders. Shout out to the hard working staff who got us our pies- with smiles - in next to no time despite beginning to run out of pizza!“

“Super yummy dumplings. My husband and I really enjoyed the delicious, hand-made fresh dumplings. Very nice staff. We ordered pan fried pork dumplings, pan fried pork kimchi dumplings and hot and sour soup. My husband said they were the best dumplings he’d ever had. Atmosphere was casual and comfortable.“

“We heard about this place on the rumor mill and decided to stop in on our way to South Lake Tahoe. We decided to spend the night after discovering how adorable the shops are. The pies are amazing. They are all named after countries. I got the Russian Stroganoff (because I love mushrooms) and he got the Italian pie. We loved them. The crunch as you bite into the flaky (all butter - no shortening) crust is a sublime pleasure. Honestly, your brain will explode, their pies are that good. While we ate there, there was a ton of folks coming by (all locals) who bought frozen pies to take home and bake. If I had a cooler, I would have too! I think the best thing is to eat them there. Crispy crust that is still warm from the oven. Mmmmm mmmm mmmmmm! We loved meeting the owner and talking pies with her. Nicest woman ever and boy, does she know pies! She has a devoted following. The Placerville Chamber of Commerce should give her an award. There are people (like us) that come back over and over because they need another fix. I swear there is crack in those pies.“

“Experience a good ol’ fashioned family owned and operated restaurant. Here, not only is the food exceptional, the personal service and attention to the customer is way above and beyond what some businesses call customer service. Here, customer service is the personal touch from this awesome family to you! Wouldn’t it be nice if every business treated their customers like this family does and wouldn’t it be just as awesome if food quality and flavor were a priority at every restaurant?“

“One of the best sandwiches I have had in Old Hangtown (Placerville)! I had the Angry Irishman. It was delicious. It's a grilled sandwich with Corned Beef, Pastrami, Cream Cheese, Havarti, Caramelized Onions, Jalapeños, and Hot Pepper Spread all on beautifully grilled Sourdough. Service was friendly. Inside seating is sparse. Just a few seats at the bar, and a table.“

“Enjoyed a late lunch here on our drive back from Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area. Didn't get to try their Lobster Bisque since they were out (Friday ~2pm), but our daughter loved their clam chowder. The Baked Brie was so delicious - served with warm bread, dried fruit, grilled onions and truffles. It was gone within a few minutes! For our mains, the crab cake sliders were fine, nothing spectacular. But their Salmon Salad was a hit! The salmon was cooked just right, not too dry, with a lightly sweet, refreshing dressing. I wish I could bottle up the dressing and take it home! We'll definitely be coming back when we're in town again.“

“What a great find. I had two business meetings in Cameron Park and needed a good healthy lunch. Chose to try Yuki Sushi based on previous reviews. The sushi rolls were very generous portions. My friend ordered a couple orders of nigiri and the slices of fish were the thickest cuts I've experienced throughout the tri-county area. Only my regular go-to sushi spot can compete with this little hidden treasure sushi restaurant. I'll definitely be back in the future, each time I come back to Cameron Park. Pricing was moderate, but totally appropriate for the quality of sushi, service and selection of menu items. This is NOT a bargain or budget sushi stop. You get GREAT sushi for a reasonable price.“

“Dietary restrictions: My friend is vegan and she was able to get food she could eat that was delicious. Delicious pizza and ceaser salad that was awesome. I'm lactose intolerant and got the same thing minus cheese. Loved it! Staff is really sweet and helpful. Wish I could take this charming place home with me“

“I walked into Gracie’s hoping for a small last minute cake for my best friends court house ceremony and the ladies were so helpful and easy to communicate with. I ordered a vanilla cake with strawberry filling. You can’t tell from the photo, but they added sparkles to the icing which made it look simple and elegant. Cake was perfect and tasted delicious!“

“The food was really great and the service was friendly. The atmosphere is really beautiful and historic although the seating is pretty uncomfortable. That's my only complaint.Kid-friendliness: The kids' menu is great, but could use more veggies and fruit options.“

“Came here to check it out and grab drinks to see that the neighbourhood would be like. Was up here checking out houses . Walked in on sunday around 12:45pm and was greeted right away when we walked it. We were offered menus right away and it all looked so good. They offer American fusion Japanese food. We will have to come back and try the food another day. It's was nice to atmosphere with music in the background but lots of people chatting. This place.“

“I love coming here. I know they treat everyone in the supply chain well, the coffee is great, they have all the alternative milks one could want, and delicious homemade pastries. Lots of space to lounge, work and enjoy. The little courtyard outside seemed pleasant! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.“

“I can not state which pizza is the best due to the fact that everyone has their own preference. The Greenwood Lake Pizza is one of my favorites. I also enjoy the veggie pizzas. The option to add or remove toppings from any pizza is great. There is also a lunch special available of a slice and soda (the slices are pleasing, lol). This establishment also makes dessert style pizzas, which are tasty. Not only is the environment clean, but the employees are friendly/ polite. The Local Take and Bake can be seen as a bit pricey, but worth it. If you are looking for quality ingredients and want something different in the world of pizza, I suggest The Local Take & Bake. Another great thing is that they accept EBT payment for take and bake only.As far as both locations being wheelchair, mobility impaired (ADA compliant), it is accessible, but the doors are manual open only, which can be an obstacle. The Cool, CA. Location has a low counter, which makes it easy to pay and receive your change and your order. The location in Garden Valley, CA, has a high countertop at which to pay and receive, but I would like to say that if you were wheelchair bound, the employees/owner would be helpful, even when it comes to getting the door for you.“

“If you are seeking excellent catering for your event of any size, look no further. Teal at Sierra Rizing was a joy to work with. She made the process beyond easy and relieved me of so much stress. She provided catering to serve a group of 65 people and knocked it out of the park. The food was incredible, we received many compliments. Teal was on time, organized, and delivered in every aspect. I look forward to working with her again in the future.“
