“Pretty good sushi spot in Moraga! My friend and I were craving sushi and decided to come here, was not disappointed! Service was great, everyone was so attentive and kind the entire dinner. Also the vibe of the place is nice and simple, good place to eat dinner. We got crab cheese puffs, miso soup, and a roll each for dinner. Crab cheese puffs: 5/5 - very tasty! A go-to appetizer because they're simple and tasty. These were great, fried well and had a delicious flavor. Totally get these if you don't know what appetizer to start with! Miso soup: 4/5 - this soup was good but a little bit too salty. I like that they had real shaved bonito in the soup, added a lot of flavor but it may have made it slightly too salty. Wish there was a little more tofu but overall really good too! Spicy Tuna Roll: 4/5 - really good! Quality was great and the tuna was very flavorful. Rice was not dry and the roll was balanced. I do wish it was a little bit bigger but it's ok since we ordered other food too! Tempura Roll: 5/5 - this is the roll my friend god, she really liked it! Shrimp was tasty and fried well and she said it was very satisfying and that she would order it again. Overall our experience at golden palace was great! We definitely want to return when I visit her again. The menu had a lot of Chinese dishes so that will be what we tackle next! If you're looking for some tasty food in Moraga please check this place out :)“

“It is great Mexican food in Moraga with the correct price point, family run, I had a few meals from there back in the early 2000's but have been a consistent customer since 2013 (less these days unfortunately b/c I no longer work in Moraga). Enchiladas are excellent, friggin hard shell beef tacos (w/extra spicy salsa) out of this world, the hardshell taco must be eaten immediately on location.“

“One of the few all you can eat sushi places in the area. Right at about 30 bucks puts it at quite the deal. They have a ton of rolls, I think around 40 to choose from. A good portion is spicy but most of them have salmon and tuna not just imitation crab meat. No nigiri or sashimi but everything I had, had a good portion of fish. All in all a great place to go, just kinda of the beaten path though.“

Having a nice meal with our daughter was a treat, the service was amazing and the food....OMG! Every bite of every dish I tasted was so so delicious! I can't get the butternut soup out of my head it was THAT good! We all ordered different food & shared bites with one another. This night was so enjoyable! Thank you, Sis & Thank you Mama Oakland!“

“What a charming place. After a comedy show at the Paramount, we were looking for something to eat and this place was on our way to the motel. It was really hopping in there. They squeezed us into the lounge area, which was really comfortable. We didn't order a lot of things, but what we had was really good! Empanadas and plantains with shredded beef. We had a mocktail as well which was delicious.Loved the shared plate thing too!“

“The service and the food are top notch. Our server was friendly, courteous and accommodating. He raved about the owners who are excellent bakers and chefs. Outdoor dining space is really nice and everyone used their PPE except when eating. I had their avocado toast on a very generous slice of homemade sourdough batard, crusty on the outside and chewy goodness on the inside. I swear they gave me an entire avocado all sliced up evenly atop lemon goat cheese spread, and then topped off with a drizzle of olive oil, sea salt, cracked pepper, and a touch of arugula and pomegranate seeds. I asked for a side of egg which they served perfectly soft boiled with a hint of sea salt and cracked black pepper. They served this dish with a cup of fruit and this cup of fruit is not ordinary. It had Fuyu persimmon, red grapes, cantaloupe, and strawberries. Their coffee is hot and strong!!! The homemade sourdough batard toast was so good, I left with an entire loaf!“
