“Those who know, know. The RIBS here are absolutely next level. Brisket and sausage are solid as well. What surprised us are the sides and unique flavored pickles. Very nice blend of traditional styles with Korean influences and there is a lot of love in the execution at Rib Bro.“
“I've visited Zip Korean bbq several times now, whether with my boyfriend or family, and each visit has been consistently great. Atmosphere is good and the service is excellent. The quality of the meats and food is always delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great ayce spot.“
“I came here yesterday with husband and 2 little ones. No wait time since I reserved table online and they were not full.Staffs deserve 5 stars, very friendly and attentive. They replace the grill and clean up table before we ask them. They also provide little pastic cups for kids to prevent spilling. It would be nice to have plastic forks for kids because the metal forks are too long. Its kidda smokey inside the restaurant, maybe you need stronger venting system. We ordered Kobe set (not AYCE), the meats are very tender but they did not come with veggies, just a few slides of onion/carrot/pumkin. I suggest you provide lettuce in the Set/combo instead of the rice cake/shredded cabbage. The mini side dishes are not impressive, kimchi is very sour, I suggest you to improve quality of your side dishes. The set comes with stir fried noodle or fried rice. Noodles do not taste good. Meat is chewy but fatty, not very good quality. I feel i have korean bbq more than japanese bbq. Dipping sauces are plain, the sour one is too sour and the remaining sauce is too salty, they do not blend well with meats. I will not come back since im not impressed with the food quality. You have the best staffs.“
“OMG!!!! So delicious.... My husband and I had the hungry faka plate to share and that plate could have fed 3-4 people. Everything was perfectly cooked and so yummy. The service was amazing definitely with aloha. If your in there area definitely worth checking out. It's like a food court of different food ethics. But easy to find. We definitely would return. Pictures only say so much too.“
“So bomb!!! The food is so delicious and you don’t even have to drive to Garden Grove for it. They do get busy though so you might have to wait. I think it’s a great place with good portions and reasonable pricing. I’d love to eat here everyday.“
“I had the pulled pork nachos and chili, both were top notch. The chili was spicy excellent flavor.April 7, 2024This time I had the spare ribs. Highest grade on all of flavor and product quality and preparation.Parking: Parking shouldn't be a problem but during weekday lunch hours parking can be a challenge.Kid-friendliness: Bench seating for perhaps 25.“
“Foodie living in Irvine for 6 years. I've gone to many barbecue places including both Japanese and Korean. But this place always has a special place in my heart Our go-to Korean barbecue in OC!!! We love it because the beef is so fresh. Their Kimchi soup is the best. Everything is so clean and not greasy at all! Highly recommend it! Service is amazing too! Feel very welcomed.“
“This place saved my sanity when the kids didn't like what we actually had for lunch. The kids quieted down and scarfed down the chicken katsu. The meat was white, thick, and tender. The batter was lightly covered with crispy panko. There was plenty of rice for the two little kids to share. The mac salad was not as creamy as I am used to because it had canned tuna in it, but it was nice to have something a little different from other places. The seating area was spacious, and there was a self-service soda fountain with fresh tasting water. This restaurant was the perfect find for my tired kids.“
“Love this BBQ place!!! The smell as I walked in brought back great memories of having a backyard bbq. The staff was great was greeted and helped out by Manda and the owner. Awesome hospitality from both of them. Very attentive to my needs. I had the brisket and a side of coleslaw, by far the best brisket I’ve had as most tends to be dry and tough. Santa Maria bbq is spot on cant wait to be back to try some of there other menu items as they all look good. Great sauces as well i had the mango habanero and some sweet brown sugar sauce. If your craving bbq you have to come check this place out.“
“We had the sampler platter. Chopped pork, chicken, turkey, and Brisket were really good. Sausage was average. Good mild smoked flavor in all meats. Ribs were also good. Mild and Spicey sauces were really good. Creamed corn was really good. Potato salad was outstanding. Banana pudding was very good. Pecan pie was honestly the best I have ever had, anywhere!“
“Meat quality is so damn delicious! The Short rib and skirt steak were our faves, we also tried the A5 wagyu and it was melt in your mouth delicious as well. Don't skip on the cartilage and sausage, if you're looking for great pairings to go with your beer. The Yukhae (raw beef dish) was super delicious and I'm not a raw beef person in general. I would definitely order that again though. Get here early, about 15min before they open to avoid the lines. It's a small restaurant with mostly 4-tops , I saw maybe 1 table that could accommodate a party of 8-10 max, so if you have a larger party be prepared to sit separately. The service is great, they were on point with water refills and checking to see if we wanted to order any additional items. They have a weekday special for $67 where you can try 2 of our favorite meats + their miso chicken thigh, and the veggies it comes with are minimal (1pc pumpkin, couple pieces of bell pepper, and a slice of carrot). I heard their yookaejang (spicy beef and vegetable soup) was good but we didn't try it this time. Also, don't sleep on their black sesame and yuzu ice cream!“
“The wife and I tried Hole Smokes last night. We tried a couple apps and the Tray 4 Two so that we could get a few different meats to try. The fried pickles were really good with both the chipotle sauce and with ranch. I liked the chipotle better. The honey glazed burnt ends were ok- very tender and juicy, but lacked a bit of flavor. For the meats we had a sausage link, brisket and tritip. The link was good- wife really liked it a lot. The brisket was maybe the best we've had- very tender, juicy and some good flavor. The tritip was very good and had a beautiful smoke ring. For the sides, we tried the cornbread cake, brussel sprouts, and French fries. Was surprise that the cornbread was cold. We liked the flavor, and my wife liked the cinnamon butter (i preferred no butter, but I'm not as big a cinnamon fan as my wife). The sprouts were great and loved the glaze that was on them. The fries were really good as well. Looking forward to bringing the kids back and trying a few more things. Service was great and on top of things for refills, sauce, etc.“
“Absolutely phenomenal experience at Manpuku BBQ! From the moment we stepped in, the manager's family-oriented approach was evident, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attentiveness of the staff, led by the manager, truly elevated our dining experience. The food was exquisite served with care. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just looking for a memorable meal, Manpuku BBQ is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!“
“A charming spot for a casual lunch. We indulged in classic burgers, chili fries, shredded tacos, and loaded chicken fries. The service was prompt, and although the place was small, it offered a comfortable atmosphere. Think of it as an upgraded version of fast food, tucked away on the side streets of Huntington Beach Main St.“
“i took my younger brother to this place when he went to college at UC Irvine, and whenever i muster the balls to spend the money, i'll take the drive to visit this great place (the bill between two people is often 200 dollars, food + drinks), although, we're big eaters, and if you're conservative, i imagine you can keep the bill under a 100 bucks between two.it's awesome. just amazing. the quality of their beef and the willingness of the staff to bend over backwards for you is just incredible.“
“Great kbbq. We came for dinner on Sunday, there was a little wait. The environment is nice, the bar with grill is cool. There are many food options and the meat quality is good. The food came really fast because all you need to do is order thru the phone by scanning the QR code and the food was delivered by "robot", so no need to nonstop asking for more to people. The down side for that is there are not much engagement from real people, so sometimes you would have to asking for new grill, water, etc. It is a great place overall, definitely will come again“
“The best tasting authentic Vietnamese foods in Southern California. From grilled pork to egg rolls to soupy dishes, each has its own unique taste and ingredients reminding one of the various street food stall in Saigon. The service is outstanding. The owner and her workers are friendly and courteous. Customers are treated as if you are family and neighbors. By the way, the free "nước mát" (herbal drink) is icing on the cake...... The ambiance is cozy ; actually too cozy for comfort to some of you because the space is small. But, create your own ambience by ordering takeouts..... The best foods for every day meal and something to brag about to your out of towner guests and friends.“
“This place is awesome!! 5 stars wagyu beef. High quality 5 starts service. The servers here are really nice and friendly. They checked on us very often to make sure we had a good meal. They even got us a hot tea at the end after 3 of us killed a big bottle of sake“
“This place is a gem! Part of an indoor co-op. Food is bomb, fresh, and ready fast. Pricing is a little high but it is Newport so it's to be expected across the board. Service was friendly and helpful.Highly recommend them for great Hawaiian food in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa.“
“The lunch special here was really good. The meat was good, the small sides were good, and the drinks were good. However, one of our server guy was kind of slow. But the other server guy was much faster. So if you come here and one of the server guy is kind of slow, you know who I’m taking about.“
“The food was great. My daughter and I had a great time there. The service was excellent. The manager kelly made sure she came and greeted us and asked if we needed anything. Even though It was pretty busy that day, food and service came quickly. Will visit again! Thank “
“For my first visit, it was a very pleasant experience. I was seated promptly, and ordering plates was quite easy, despite never having ordered through a web browser before. One staff member did not speak English and one guy was mistaken about the parking validation of 2 hours, its only free for the first hour. They have corn tortillas, but were sold out when I was there; not that I would have ordered any in a KBBQ, but it's a nice accomodation in my opinion.Beers were nice and cold and did not have foam. The meat was also fresh and I sampled some of the seafood selections as well, those were good. The hot sauce was also excellent.“
“It tastes a lot like what's served at Philippines Aristocrats Restaurant, especially the BBQ. After dining, you'll have a sense of comfort, especially with the Bibingkinitan, a small version of the Bibingka, a Filipino baked rice cake. It produces delicious comfort food that you will want to eat again and again.“
“I tried this place because I missed the flavor of Mexico City tacos DID NOT DISAPPOINT( also good place to go after a hang over) Santa Ana locations is open both Saturday and Sunday so I get to grab a bite early in the morning before work ! 10/10 recommend this place and the workers are super nice and friendly always ps the salsa roja is SUPER SPICY !“
“I love the beef ribs here! All the meats are cooked excellent, I’m just not a huge fan of loads of BBQ sauce on my meat! Maybe I just need to ask for it on the side! The mashed potatoes are ridiculously good, the coleslaw, and sweet potatoes came in at a strong second place on flavor. Mac and cheese is ok and so are the roasted veggies.Overall if you want some yummy cuts of meat for a really reasonable price for tons of food, this is the place!“
“Gyu-Kaku is a dining haven where every visit promises an unforgettable experience, thanks to its delectable cuisine and impeccable service. The journey begins with appetizers like the spicy jalapeño edamame, packing just the right amount of heat and flavor, and the addictive spicy cucumber, boasting crispy freshness and a savory sauce that keeps you coming back for more. The highlight, however, is the meat selection, with standouts like the toro and yaki-shabu beefs stealing the show. What sets Gyu-Kaku apart is the interactive element of cooking your own meat at the table, enhanced by a variety of sauce options to customize your culinary adventure. For fried rice aficionados, the beef sukiyaki bibimbap is a must-try, served piping hot in a bowl that allows the rice to crisp up beautifully for a textural delight. Garlic lovers rejoice with the garlic noodles, a flavorful favorite that never disappoints. To enhance your experience, reservations are highly recommended, especially on busy nights like Fridays and Saturdays. Gyu-Kaku does offer happy hour specials on select items. They can accommodate small to large parties. With a diverse selection of beer, sake, and other beverages to accompany your meal, attentive service, and convenient parking, Gyu-Kaku delivers a dining experience that will leave wanting to come back.“
“Just wanted to further showcase this place is amazing. The owner is super friendly and the food is the best. Love this place for real. The chicken katsu is my favorite with the golden tiger smoothieFeatures: Good spot for classic Hawaiian and good teas“
“A definite hidden gem. If you driving through the area def get yourself some tacos and you will not be disappointed. Had the pastor and the chicken tacos and loved both but that chicken with the extra sauce, bomb. Even the Jamaica was great n refreshing. Prices were reasonable and fair. Will be out there again pretty soon.“
“We doordashed Chicken Katsu, Macaroni Salad, and Spam Musubi. They're open late at night which is pretty nice! I believe this is a ghost kitchen but they're still so delicious and give generous portions! One of my go to spots to order. Chicken Katsu (5/5): Macaroni salad is creamy and delicious, pairs well with the rice and katsu. Katsu is crispy, moist, and well seasoned. We love how much katsu comes in one box! Its enough for two people to share and still have leftovers. Spam Musubi (3/5): Spam was really soft and a bit undercooked. Lots of rice compared to spam ratio.“
“a charming members only yacht club over looking the newport beach bay with beautiful boats of all sizes to admire. staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure your visit is amazing. The time we visited the club was hosting an international french themed dinner menu which was very enjoyable. definitely recommend this club on their "open house" night to see if this is something you might enjoy along with their sailing and social opportunities offered. 5 stars“
