“I found Moonwood Coffee in the same shopping center of a coin shop that is awesome to visit. I ended up wanting a treat and some coffee, so I walked over. The storefront has a bit of an awkward entrance away from the other business doors...but keep walking to find it because this spot is totally amazing! I ordered a cedar cinnamon iced latte and the espresso was absolutely perfectly paired with the cinnamon and brown sugar flavors. They enhanced each other perfectly and my husband who doesn't even like coffee or espresso very much was also addicted. We tried a cinnamon roll, which had this flaky dough and well balanced frosting that was not overly sweet. I was in love with that. We also tried an almond bear claw, which I thought was just ok but my husband loved it even more than the cinnamon roll. There were tons of other treats here as this is also a bakery and they do catering! I would highly recommended checking it out. The decor was also really cute and service was perfect. Just be aware the shop is small and there is minimal spots to sit and enjoy inside or on the patio, so plan on taking the treats to go ideally!“

“A local eatery in which anyone who's a regular can tell you is top notch this deli boasts freshness & quality by using high-grade meats and cheeses such as Boar's Head paired with exquisite baguettes from C'est Si Bon and to-die rye that creates a kind of alchemy that may have only existed in your sandwich dreams. You'd have to come back for either two visits or save your stomach for a big lunch to try some of their classics : the pastrami & the turkey club. Ask for the pastrami grilled with the cheese melted well (you can't go wrong with some extra pastrami as well ) or a turkey club on a baguette with everything and throw some sprouts in there as well! “Having gone to one too many weddings where I was not fed enough and/or not served tasty food, and then having heard my aunties and uncles complain for years about the food after the wedding left me scared for our wedding...I did not want the reputation of throwing THAT kind of party. But Furiwa made our lives easy! They were the caterer of choice for two other weddings for both my older brother and my husband's younger sister's wedding. We knew we wanted to keep the tradition of having them cater our wedding too and we were 1000% happy with the decision. Our guests were equally satisfied, the fried sui mai were a fan favorite with so many of our guests asking about it post-wedding and are now buying to-go from Furiwa on the weekends just to re-live that tasty goodness. From the start, Victoria and Tiffany were both great to work with. We considered both off-site catering (partnering with Victoria) and having our wedding at The Villa (partnering with Tiffany). We decided to go with an off-site option, but either way, both of them were professional, kind, patient, and great at communicating. We really appreciated all the tips and pointers along the way too. We cannot recommend Furiwa enough, you should for sure book with them!“
