“A must-visit restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, and although the restaurant is small, it is definitely worth the visit. If you’re dining with a larger group, I highly recommend ordering a variety of dishes and sharing so everyone can sample a little bit of everything. There were so many dishes I didn’t even get a chance to photograph because we ate them before I remembered to take pictures! The presentation was beautiful, and everything we tried was full of flavor. Definitely a place I would recommend and visit again. (Parking on the street)”

“Vegan comfort food so good you'll tell everyone you know about it. My wife and I had meatloaf sandos because we haven't either of us had meatloaf in decades and we both liked it when we did eat meat. Scott's (hey Scott) meatloaf isn't like your traditional meatloaf with granules of ground beef. Instead, it is more the texture of a fine dice of beef, and man, it is mind-blowing good! I hear the Reuben will make you want to move to Oceanside. I'd love to see what this place could do with a tuna melt. The fries are superior and, well, they nailed it. Love the 60s/70s counter-culture vibe and, of course, the surf undertone (it's blocks from the waves). The service is what you would hope for and holds a soupcon of joy behind it. Scott is personable and you can see his heart is in the food and the restaurant. Finally...calling all meat eaters! This place is the place for you. I used to eat meat. I too know the dissatisfaction vegan food can bring. In short, I am not unsympathetic. You won't be dissatisfied here. I wouldn't be surprised if you returned and brought other people. I've tried all the meat substitutes and this isn't like that. They got hold of something here and it's really good.”

We had the 8 course tasting menu and honestly, I couldn’t find a single dish to say anything but amazing things about. After dinner we got a brief tour of the private dining area and back of house, shook hands with the executive chef and got to thank him for helping curate such a special birthday dinner for my partner and myself. It truly was a journey through coastal Mexico with every bite and the staff was incredibly kind. If you have an opportunity to experience this place, you should absolutely book the reservation! The chef’s and staff here earned their star for great reason!”

Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.

Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.”

It is immaculate, and actually cleaner than a lot of local restaurants I've been in. The young lady who helped us since it was our first time, was excellent. She was making sure the condiment area was supper clean, I could have eaten off of it, lol. She had a great smile and was very welcoming as she helped us with answering our questions about the menu. The food was excellent, and the portions were great. Pricing was excellent and we will definitely be back. Again, both the area and truck are immaculate and the cleanest I've ever seen. “I only give 4 stars to non-vegan restaurants when their vegan options are plentiful and worthy. Sabai Sabai exceeded my expectations. Their vegan protein options include not only tofu but mock duck. When I started out stating that I was vegan, the person taking the order promptly asked questions that showed that they clearly got it. And, the food was excellent. “A few months ago our nonprofit organization was looking for a place where our families could meet up to enjoy some amazing coffee and socialize a bit. Our Angels at Right Hand Angels are disabled and many times they are not accepted in the community. That is not the case here. Each time we have walked in our families have been greeted with kindness, dignity and respect. The staff and owner is always quick to make a smile or chat for a few and even have made some great selections on foods and the game chess. One of our athletes in particular is very quick to claim his favorite chair where he can visually see everything and everyone around him in hopes to make small talk with families. Socialization is so very important to them. We think nothing but the world of this facility and highly recommend the dirty spiced chai and avocado toast. Join them. Atmosphere is very pleasant and wheelchair accessible.”

Service was not the best, but the food was really excellent. The Prime Rib was perfect, but the plate was drab and dull. No color whatsoever. A piece of parsley would go a long way. All of the staff are fast, friendly, polite, and they really provide the incredible service & food that you are looking for in a restaurant! The dining room is clean & comfortable. My waiter, Everette, was straight up exceptional! He anticipated my needs before I even asked! Unobtrusive yet 100% attentive! He totally made my day! The food was delicious and cooked to outstanding perfection! I should have grabbed a pic to share with the public, but it looked so yummy that I forgot, and dived right in to devour it, lol. The chef made my top sirloin taste just like filet minion! Seriously! And for those of you, like me, that ask for medium rare, and almost never have it come out right, this chef delivered perfect medium rare! Nice grill outside and perfect pink throughout. Exactly spot on!! Fluffy rustic mashed potatoes that tasted like soft yummy clouds! And the steamed veggies fork tender but not too soft! I mean one generously portioned and utterly delicious plate!! We are very picky when it comes to Burgers. Then one day we stumbled on EAT CRISPY BURGER in Encintas, California. OMG, I was so blown away when I tasted this "BEST BURGER I EVER ATE, EVER," (winning the Contest by Far); that we literally went there every week after, at least once a week, and I would always get 2 to 5 Doubles with Chedder, extra pickles/Ranch, so I could eat them all week. I had met the owners on Instagram and let them know about 6 months into our find of Eat Crispy Burger and they were thrilled to meet us. They even bought us a huge lunch about a week ago. The food is delicious, The burgers taste better than any I have ever had, Great Angus Beef, Smashed and crispy, Fries make with the healthiest oils, AVOCADO, and the Impossible Smashed burger (Erica is Vegan) blew her mind as the best VEGAN Burger she ever had. WE literally drool, when we go out once a week for lunch, and instead of careening so many great restaurants in San Diego County, we are blown away and hooked on EAT CRISPY BURGER in Encinitas, every single week, like Clockwork.
