We've got Ojai's top Mexican restaurants covered for you.
“On a day trip to Ojai we followed the recommendation of some friends to get in line and order a bit of Mexican bliss. Totally worth it!The steak burrito was phenomenal, from the soft & fresh flour tortilla to the meat, rice, beans, guac, cheese, and salsa.Parking: Parking lot in the rear of the building, though it can get full fast. There’s also street parking nearby.“
“Best burrito everMy mom owns a school and OJAI and we get that for hot lunch every Monday. Oh my gosh so good I cannot explain how good it is. I cannot understand what anyone’s gives a bad review.Very enjoyable I’ve been going to it for my whole life so very good restaurant ??“
“Parking: The parking is terrible! The lot is very unbalanced. Due to the parking situation, I either go early in the morning or close to closing.Kid-friendliness: It has a pretty basic setup. Table and chairs with two/three outdoor tables. I don't see why kids would be a problem here at all.“
“First of all, the people there are so nice !!! They got the food out so quick and it was so good ! My boyfriend and I CLEANED our plates like scraped them clean ! Ugh I'm still not over how bomb my carne asada plate with the grilled onions were ! My boyfriend said his wet burrito was great especially because the meat was so flavorful ! 10/10 going again“
“One of the best carnitas burritos I have ever had. Great flavor, super good beans and just the right spices in the meat! The person at the register was very friendly and helpful. I'll be back and I highly recommend the food. Burrito was $11.00 plus tax and enough to split! Easily 2 pounds.“
“This place is the best mexican restaurant in Ojai. The food portion was really big and good. The service was amazing. This is the first place that I saw the staff put a pitcher of coke on your table for refilling. The ambiance was good and quiet. I really enjoyed eating at this place and I highly recommend it.“
“The first time my company send me to Ojai at the end of my shift I was looking for a good place to eat. I love the micheladas from here and the food as well. I meet the owners and the chef as well that is part for the family. I would give 100 starts to this place. Every time I come to Ojai to work. I need to stop here for a good michelada and a good food 10/10“
“Excellent staff, excellent food, and excellent ambiance. Really can't go wrong with this spot. They gave us great recommendations for our first visit to Ojai and to this restaurant. We got the chips with guacamole and salsa, peach iced tea, huarache, and the tamale. Everything was great portion size and the food tasted so fresh and filling. We also got the peanut butter and oatmeal cookies, both were good but a very coconut taste (which I'm not a fan of but if you are then these are your cookies!!). Definitely would return on my next visit to Ojai.“
