Each property has a little description that is quite educational. Or, wait until you’ve enjoyed the great food for that after-dessert stroll. The food was amazing, from Mahi Salad to full steak dinner with excellent merlot. Same a few sips of that red wine to enjoy with their chocolate cake with raspberry, whipped cream & pecan topping. Whew. As you can witness with the photo, the servings are huge. (We took home another full meal - really.)”

For our group of 8, we ordered the pulled pork and pulled chicken, along with baked beans, cheesy potatoes, and Southern green beans. Every dish was absolutely amazing! “My first time and I rate 10/10. I had the grilled fish burrito. It came with a few pickled onion and radish slides and lime. Which paired perfectly with the flavorful habanero salsa. Which I had two of the salsa servings.
I eat a lot and love large burritos. At first it looked smaller than I expected, but it was wrapped and packed very tightly , filled with grilled fish, rice and seasonings that enhanced the flavor of the fish. It was amazing and I was pleasantly satisfied.
You can eat out front by the street which gives a nice view of Plaza Park. I saw i. The back which has a welcoming and relaxed homestyle vibe with table nestled with a cover tried with plants on a hard dirt surface which made a nice vibe like places I would eat at in Baja. Very relaxing, highly aesthetic, super clean, well decorated, and even the restroom was very clean and fresh. The staff were nice and welcoming as well.

Oh ! What's a Memela ? It's a thick hand made tortilla with melted cheese and the sauce of your choice. Yes!!! An opened quesadilla! Between a quesadilla and a gordita ! I love to spend a great mealtime in the Taproom enjoying hands down some of the best burgers and “pub grub” with the nicest people in the business. Always eager to recommend great seasonal pairings and there is always something fun happening that makes me wish I lived closer to enjoy it more frequently and to bring more family and friends. I go home and Rave about this place! I recommend asking for staff favorites from the bar staff and you will probably get to meet Shawn, the chef, Jamison the owner, or Connor, bar manager. The wait staff was helpful, personable and didn't make fun of my ordering in Spanish (and checking in English)!

So it’s where they do most of the mongering but they have a little shop that serves most of the people in the industrial parks and vicinity. It was funny, they called me out for it lol.
But the girl was super nice and helpful and led me to the Fish Tacos. Well worth it. Light bread in, good crisp and flavor. I would def come back but it’s a lunch spot for the locals. Don’t let that scare you away.”

“While up in Oxnard to check out a car, we spent hours at the dealership from noon until 4 p.m., and by then, we were starving. As we waited for the car to be cleaned and charged, I quickly searched for food nearby. Turns out there’s a Marketplace at Oxnard and a Costco just 450 meters away from the dealership, so we decided to head there for a meal.
Out of all the restaurant reviews, we landed on a 4.5-star spot called New Chicken Bowl Teriyaki. The place has a simple setup—just two rows of tables on either side and a counter for ordering. I asked the owner (maybe?)what he would recommend, and of course, he suggested the Chicken Teriyaki. We ordered two large A1 meals—$8.95 each—and one small for $7.95. I was shocked by the prices—under $10 for a meal! When the food was served, I was even more surprised by the portion sizes. The chicken had crispy skin and juicy meat, with a teriyaki sauce that wasn’t too salty. It came with a side of cabbage, slices of carrot, and broccoli, making it a balanced meal.
The owner gave us two bottles of sauce—garlic sauce and spicy sauce—so you could add flavor to your liking. Overall, it was incredibly budget-friendly. I was full after just half my portion and took the rest home. The only slight downside is that everything comes pre-packed in plastic takeout containers, even if you’re dining in. I guess it’s a way to save time and effort, and it makes it easy to pack up any leftovers right away.
My husband, who has a big appetite, finished his entire meal and said he was stuffed. If you’re in the area, this place is worth checking out for a quick, affordable bite.”

“We were a bit concerned when we arrived there on a Friday night. It was do loud inside we had to wait for an outside table.
That came with its own different distraction. Cars and trucks revving and burning out, over and over... and over.
However, I was extremely happy to see that their beer menu is fantastic! It's actually among the best I've seen for a restaurant! And the food was also excellent!
Their poke nachos were great. As was their Mediterranean salmon and Ahi tuna crunchy salad. The bread pudding was as good as any I've tasted.
Our server was a doll. She was totally honest about something that most wouldn't have been. We will definitely be back, though not on another Friday night, in our attempt to find it much less noisy inside and out.”

“I have been a fan of Wagon Wheel brewery for a few years now. We discovered them while visiting family, and I will now drive 4.5 hours to stock up on our favorites. I love to spend a great mealtime in the Taproom enjoying hands down some of the best burgers and “pub grub” with the nicest people in the business. Always eager to recommend great seasonal pairings and there is always something fun happening that makes me wish I lived closer to enjoy it more frequently and to bring more family and friends. I go home and Rave about this place! I recommend asking for staff favorites from the bar staff and you will probably get to meet Shawn, the chef, Jamison the owner, or Connor, bar manager. I’ve been to Costa Rica & los angeles & Mexico - everywhere !these are just crazy good. “We had the chicken quesadilla Mole estilo Guanajuato, Tamarindo agua fresca and Jamaica agua fresca a michelada and churro ice cream for dessert. The mole sauce tasted a bit bitter, the aguas frescas were refreshing with just the right amount of sugar, the michelada was on pointe! the churro was served hot ? with a cinammon coating and glazed ice cream. The server was super friendly and attentive. No waiting which was awesome because we were hungry. The food came within 15 minutes.

They are working on getting their liquor license, so no cocktails yet. This is not a taco truck or fast food restaurant. We ordered the guacamole to start. It could easily have served 4-6 people. It was delicious! I ordered the sopes. You get 3. I got one of each... mushroom, asada, and chorizo. They were piled high and very filling. Mushroom and chorizo were my favorite. My husband ordered the shrimp ceviche. He was filled up and enjoyed every bite. We will certainly return. I'd love to try the churros on the dessert menu. No, beans and rice are not served on the side, but there was plenty of food. I encourage you to try this restaurant out for yourselves and support this new business in Oxnard.”

“My first time and I rate 10/10. I had the grilled fish burrito. It came with a few pickled onion and radish slides and lime. Which paired perfectly with the flavorful habanero salsa. Which I had two of the salsa servings.
I eat a lot and love large burritos. At first it looked smaller than I expected, but it was wrapped and packed very tightly , filled with grilled fish, rice and seasonings that enhanced the flavor of the fish. It was amazing and I was pleasantly satisfied.
You can eat out front by the street which gives a nice view of Plaza Park. I saw i. The back which has a welcoming and relaxed homestyle vibe with table nestled with a cover tried with plants on a hard dirt surface which made a nice vibe like places I would eat at in Baja. Very relaxing, highly aesthetic, super clean, well decorated, and even the restroom was very clean and fresh. The staff were nice and welcoming as well.
Food quality 10/10. Price 10/10. Flavor 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Vibe 10/10.
