“Heard about this from.my granddaughter. We love Chinese food and hadn’t found a place near us in Daly City. This was just delicious. We had 9 different dishes and everyone of them was fabulous. Cooked to,order, fresh, lightly battered, crispy. Judy was so friendly and enjoyable. Treat yourself to an affordable delicious meal. We are looking forward to,our next visit. They do not have their liquor license yet, so we took our own wines. Very accommodating and so so good!1”
“This place is FANTASTIC. I went here for the first time tonight, and was just blown away. I had high expectations because the reviews were already so good, and they met them and were even exceeded.First off, the inside of the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, as well as clean and orderly. They have different seating options depending on if it is shared or individual hot pots, but all of them are fine. The menu is extensive and straight forward. You select your options using a dry erase menu, and then they bring it out. In addition to the usual hot pot staples, they also have tasty appetizers and desserts like crab rangoons, beef short ribs, freshly fried Chinese donuts, ice cream, and fried dough with evaporated milk. And yes, as many other reviews mention, the biang biang noodles are EXCELLENT!The final thing I have to really sing the praise of is the service. The staff member we had waiting on us was SO kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Near the end of the meal, my mom wanted to sample things so she was requesting single items. Like just one single fish ball, and just two pieces of Chinese donut. The waitress did not even bat an eye at these requests, and she did indeed come back with a single fish ball, and sample size portions of the Chinese donut. It was going above and beyond! She also made sure to ask if we wanted ice cream since it isn’t on the menu and she wanted to be sure we knew they had it! I gave her a generous tip because she honestly made our night better with her cheery and helpful presence, and she even came back over and thanked us. No thanks was needed, we just wanted to thank her!All in all, Top Pot was a wonderful experience and I definitely plan to be back!”
“The excellent customer service made this a great place to eat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got in right before they were about to close and were able to order sesame chicken, general tso chicken, pot stickers, and a couple beers.”
“Our new go-to for spring rolls and papaya salad!!! **Our favorites: Shrimp papaya salad Shrimp spring roll I appreciate how their shrimp spring rolls have slices of pork and crunchy thick cucumbers. The peanut sauce is also perfectly thick and not runny. I dislike when the peanut sauce is too runny or too thick. The papaya salad is SO refreshing and the shrimp was C L E A N and sliced perfectly. Such a cute store name and the staff are very friendly and sweet. Parking is very very limited as there are stores next door within the tiny plaza.”
“Staff were so sweet here, very friendly and helpful! Food was delicious, and their fish taco was HUGE and crispy. Nachos were good too, just had a lot sour cream. But overall, great tacos and will definitely come back!”
“My friend and I stumbled upon Grape in the Fog at the end of an incredible California road trip. The ambiance is amazing, wonderful wine and delicious food. We shared the meatballs and the hummus plate and both were fabulous. We finished with the waffle with strawberries and vanilla whip cream and a trio of cheesecakes (lime, coconut and pineapple). I highly recommend stopping in to this cozy wine bar.”
“Right on the beach with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. There was a private party inside when we were there so the only available seating was outside where it was a bit chilly. Best Taco Bell experience ever!”
“Every time I find myself in San Francisco I always need to stop and get a sandwich! My order is a shaking beef sandwich with watermelon lychee smoothie. Add some sriracha on the sandwich ?”
“A hidden restaurant in Pacifica. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with warm hospitality and the tantalizing aroma of Italian food. It was a charming ambiance, and good service, it's no wonder I'll be planning my return visit. Buon appetite!”
“Love the ocean views!! The best part of the restaurant is the booths that face the ocean :) Drinks were also really good - the fruity sunset drink was great and the lavender lemonade drink was also. The crab legs in the crab leg entree were AMAZING tasting! The veggie sides were only okay... The calamari app I would skip... wasnt too great. crab cakes were good but pricey .. but they had good flavor and good amounts of crab meat. All in all i would recommend when doing dinner in pacifica!”
“Best dining experience, food and service, we've had in a long time. Really special to see three generations of the same family working at a place that's been in business over 30 years. The Kani Kosen appetizer is amazing.”
“Stopped by for some Mexican food and this little spot was surprisingly delicious! I got the super quesadilla and it did not disappoint. Free chips and salsa was also legit. No wonder this place was bustling at lunch. Best Mexican food that I've had in Pacifica! They also have a nice little patio in the back with lots of picnic tables - great outdoor seating option on a sunny day!”
“This Hidden Gem of a place surprised the heck out of me! As soon as I came in I was greeted by the bartender Crystal who was fantastic and just started a week ago and extremely personable. Ordering was very simple right from your table using a QR code food and beer came out almost as soon as it got off the grill and the beers were unique and tasty there's a lot to choose from here. I had the fish and tots fish had a great taste to it with the right amount of spice on the batter the tops were delicious and come strongly recommended. I tried a few beers and no I'll be back to try more. Highly recommend this place especially if you want to enjoy outside Ambiance close to the water! General manager Wayne was very hospitable and i look forward to returning”
“Absolutely great bar in my opinion. Always has local and not so local bigger bands playing, great tap selection, and overall great vibe. Sea Jay, the owner is usually there having fun listening to music as well. What can I say, he seems to have great taste. The bar also hosts events like the Rock ‘n’ Roll flea market which is always a treat for all your music needs and neat bric-a-brac that the vendors bring in. Usually something for everyone which is fun cause all of us aren’t music nerds!”
“1st time I went, I had seen the price on their online menu. When they rang it up, they upped the price. OK, I told em and accepted they did not set up their website and I learned not to use that pricing.Their Linguine with Clams and pear salad have brought me back a few time. The best Linguine and Clams anywhere.Pacifica is not loaded with good restaurants. Staff is nice, food comes quick and is great for either dine in, or take out.”
