“This place is a hidden gem! We hosted a birthday party here. There are no extra fees. The room rental is included with the cards you buy. The games aren't too expensive and the kids had a lot of fun. The food from the cafe was delivered to the party room and is very reasonably priced and delicious. The staff are courteous and efficient. The arcade and the room are very clean. I can't recommend them enough!!!!“

Hana's Cafe & Deli Cafe • $
1111 Bayhill Dr, San Bruno

“OK. THIS IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN SOUTH CITY. HANA'S HAS: 1.THE BEST ASADA STREET TACOS 2. THE BEST LASAGNA IN THE PENINSULA (I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING) 3. THE BEST CHOW MEIN ON WEDNESDAYS and the list goes on. Offering Mexican sodas and other goodies, this spot is AMAZING! If you try the asada tacos and feel that there is a better place in south city I will pay for your meal. If you try the LASAGNA and you tell me that you have had a better one in the peninsula I will be surprised. On Wednesdays, they do a delicious CHOW MEIN that I like to mix with their fresh veggies. SO DELICIOUS AND GOOD FOR YA! The key here is that they do everything fresh and never frozen. ;-)“

Starbucks Inside Target Cafe • $
1150 El Camino Real, San Bruno

“This Starbucks is located in the lower level food court area. The Asian guy that rang me up was super friendly and courteous, and the female barista was really nice too (to another customer) I was watching as I waited for my coffee. Seems like there's a lot of regulars here. Refills are 50 cents if you purchased it here. So get your coffee, shop, and come back after.“

“I mobile ordered and simply picked up my coffee.I usually get a Blonde Vanilla Latte. ALWAYS delicious. Very consistent. Staff is hard working and never behind. They seem to work well together and have a good time also. It's nice to see employees getting along...and smiling as they greetcustomers. Not easy being happy thru an 8 hour shift...I live in San Bruno but work brings me to Menlo Park...I could go to the San Bruno location, but to be honest, I do prefer THIS location because of the staff.☺️??“

JOE & THE JUICE Juice •
International Terminal, International Terminal Departures Level, San Francisco

“I read that the inside of the store was dirty, but when I used it, it was very clean. I go to other branches and they all have nice interiors. But the airport store is lonely. But the avocado sandwich was delicious as always! Carrot ginger is also great.“

“Best breakfast burrito of my life hands down. The tater tots were crispy, eggs were flavorful and not dry, tortilla was warm and fresh. What a fantastic burrito. Also had a delicious piña fresa agua fresca. On top of the great food they are able to churn out orders so even though it was very busy the wait wasn’t bad at all.“

“Absolutely a hidden gem! I got a chileajo tamale and a Oaxacan hot chocolate. The tamale came with a sauce that was smoky, a little spicy, and the perfect compliment to the tamale. And it was only $6! Hot chocolate was also delicious and made by hand at our table. So happy to have found this place and would recommend to anyone visiting the Mission.“

“First time here but had heard good things about New Taraval Cafe from others and it lived up to the rumors! I ordered the Smash Burger with grilled onions ($13) and it was fantastic! The burger had two patties and was so thick I couldn't fit my mouth around it. The whole thing was so moist (in a good way) that I couldn't keep it together. It was at least a three napkin burger and even then, the juices were running down my hands and wrists! It came with a side ofries and they were good as well. The only thing I would've wanted along with this burger would be a nice thick milkshake, but my calorie count would've never allowed it! Didn't even look to see if they offered shakes! My friend had the scrambled eggs with hash browns, toast, and bacon and she really enjoyed her meal. The eggs were cooked medium, so they looked moist. There were five strips of bacon (that's a LOT of bacon), all fried nice and crisp. The hash browns looked delicious; lots of crunchy parts and soft insides. She had two slices of sourdough toast with butter and jam, too, and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice (you can see the machine near the cooking area). This is a great neighborhood find. Lots of people seem to know about this place; there was a line when we arrived at 12:30 and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table although space at the counter opened up before that. I noticed a fruit plate going by that had a great mixture of fresh fruit on it, so everything seems to be fresh here. I'll definitely go back to try other items!“
