“Tiny gem! Had the only item listed on the special board- unique sourdough focaccia bread that my daughter said was the best bread she's had. Topped w/ whipped feta, arugula and Jimmy Nardello grilled peppers. Tasty, unique, special. $8 pizza slice, with a simple, tomato sauce on their delicious bread. “Amazing sandwiches with quality ingredients and great service. The salami in my Italian sandwich was especially good, not the usual processed stuff. I recommend getting all of the toppings (minus the peppers and pickles if you want to taste more of the meats and cheeses), they make the sandwiches flavorful. Fancy sandwiches are generally $13-$15, and bottled drinks are $3ish. There are a few tables inside and some by their parklet.Dietary restrictions: All sandwiches are made fresh so you can ask for ingredients to be omitted. The sandwich prep area is somewhat small so minor contamination is likely, especially with gluten.Parking: Street parking along Guerrero, you might have to circle 2 blocks but you should be able to find parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two steps to get inside, but the owner is kind and should be able to do curbside service if you ask/call. The Bodega has a sidewalk-level parklet you can eat at.“
“Mike & Ken’s Deli, my son wanted a turkey sandwich, we drove to Little Luca, it was 5:30 PM. The place closed at 4:00PM. We drove around after looking for a sandwich place open, the map suggest to try the Mike & Ken’s Deli. I was happy to see a couple of Cop vehicles outside the deli, (always a good sign that the food is good) there was a few orders ahead and it was 11 minutes formy turn. My son went for the Turkey and Provolone sandwich on soft roll, they were out of it so we went for the warmed sourdough instead. Nice people making the sandwich with large selection of salads, breakfast and sandwiches. The deli is like a small liquor store serving beer with lottery ticket machine available.“

“I have been going to this place since a young age. I am always greeted when I walk in by the owner Chuck. All staff are very friendly and are always happy to answer any questions I have. All their sandwiches are great, my personal favorites are grilled chicken sandwich and the pesto chicken sandwich. They have in door dinning and the place is very clean. Fairly priced especially with surrounding Deli's being severely over priced. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!“
“I've now been to Deli Lama about four times and have had a great experience every time. It's in a random part of town but usually there's parking nearby even though some of the spots might not look legit because of construction but regardless, the food is tops and it's a great value too. I've never made it early enough to get breakfast options (and I love breakfast burritos, so I wanna do that some time) but their sandwiches are really solid. I got the TPA most recently on Dutch crunch and it's filling and a great deal! Definitely wanna try more different options but will just have to get up earlier!“
“Rolled the dice and today Deli Man was the winner. I’m not mad at the choice it was a hefty sandwhich made well. Service was awesome, I walked in scatter brained and my guy was patient and helpful. I wanted to try the tri tip but unfortunately is unavailable at the moment but will hopefully return soon(get well buddy).So after a long hard look at the menu with a little bit of disappointment I decided to get a Turkey Bacon and Avacado with everything on it on a soft roll and a side of banana pudding.The sandwhich was good size loaded with turkey and bacon. The way it was put together was a perfect stack. 8/10The Banana Pudding was also a hit, not to sweet and a pretty big serving. 8.5/10Parking: Parking is not impossible but it is a task. “Love this place. There sandwiches are so hood and priced at a reasonable price unlike so many places that charge much more and there sandwiches don't even compare to Golden Ninth Deli. My only issue is that there closed on Sundays and only open to 1:00 on Saturdays which is to earlier for a Saturday which in my opinion should st least stay open until 2:00-3:00. Today(Saturday)I placed an order at 12:50pm and they canceled it so I was extremely disappointed to say the least. I ended up ordering from somewhere else which was decent but way overpriced!!!! $44.00 for 2 sandwiches is robbery but since Golden Ninth canceled my order even though it wasn't 1:00pm was upsetting. Some Ppl don't always each lunch until later in the afternoon!!!! But besides that they have amazing sandwiches!!“
“You can't go wrong with Teanis! In my honest opinion these sandwiches are far much better than little Luca. The service is always quick but thoughtful. Although they are always busy I receive my food in a timely manner. I also enjoy that this is a small business & the home feeling the shop's decor brings. These sandwiches are ginormous and one sandwich can easily feed 2-3 people. I always have two meals out of one sandwich.“

I've tried a lot of places since I've moved here and very few compare to San Diego Mexican food... but this one does. For some weird reason, most places here really mess up their carne asada. Not this place. It makes every Burrito, Taco, Quesadilla, etc exceptional. I haven't tried their other non-Mexican items as I can't bring myself to miss out on my favorites, but I'm sure they're good too. “Fat Beli Deli is the real MVP with regards to being open early. They're one of the only restaurants that sales breakfast in this area that is open so early. I wish that their breakfast burritos had more vegetables in them, but for someone who likes meat and potatoes, they're burritos will probably be a hit for you. What I absolutely love about this deli is that they sale fresh juice. I always get a large tropical juice that comes with beets, celery, orange, carrot, etc. I always feel so healthy after I drink one. Please try their tropical juice and thank me later. Their customer service is great. The guy who works the register is super pleasant. The deli itself is kind of small with only a few places to eat, but overall has a local aesthetic to it.
