“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. Our guests were blown away and we couldn’t have been happier. We recommend Vinarius to everyone we know and that is thanks to Giuseppe and his awesome staff. Grazie mille!“

“Ok, I am from NY and love pizza. I am not a NYC pizza snob though and welcome all iterations of 'za! I have to say that this pizza is probably the best I have ever had of its type. They are "Roman" slices, meaning focaccia crust. Variety of slice options are insane with creative combinations that are not only imaginative, but insanely delicious. Slices are cooked upon ordering for supreme freshness. I especially like the Lussuria - prosciutto, black pepper, mashed potato, mozzarella and olive oil. (I NEVER thought I would like mashed potato on a slice, but it's insanely good.) The help here is amazing as well. Caesar was working the oven and he gave great suggestions and explained the product well. Very inviting and definitely steered me in the right direction. Need gluten free? They got it! Will make a GF slice for you right on the spot. I challenge anyone to have just one slice. I had to go back for 2 more. Enjoy!“

“Cucumber Salad felt light for its price. I didnt like that it was cut long ways either personally. Facundo was a friendly server. The whole staff helped out with bussing the table. Would come again but will not be ordering the cucumber salad the pizza and calamari were great.“

“One of my favorite restaurants in San Diego and maybe the best restaurant in OB/Point Loma. Food and service is usually great. The carpaccio is one of my favorites dishes EVER. Topped with uni and bone barrow and truffle and served with potato latkes. Legit one of the best dishes in San Diego. That alone is worth the trip. Their main dishes(lamb chops) and pastas(cacio e Pepe and Sugo e ricotta). The mussels served under a pizza dough cooked in an oven. It actually does feel like you’re at your Nonnas house, including the old tv and magazines. Homey and very filling food. This place is amazing. 5 stars but if somehow you could make your bar seats comfortable it would be amazing. Those bar stools are a crime and your bar deserves to be a place someone can pony up to and be comfortable.“

“This is the second year in a row we have stayed at Crystal Pier in San Diego. Both trips we have ordered deliver from SD TapRoom and all of our meals have been delicious. Last night was the best one for me though. I actually called them thinking they had deliver me a regular crust pizza instead of gluten-free (I have celiac). It tasted WAY TOO GOOD to be gluten-free, but it was! I have no idea how they made such a good crust (I actually said this can’t be what I ordered since it tasted so good)! The salads are also fabulous and my sister had the fish taco’s and loved them. Chili and burgers have also been a hit. Thanks for a great couple of dinners!“

“Came to TNT on the recommendation of a local and holy f*** balls I was blown away. If I had the disposable income I’d buy a private jet and fly to San Diego to eat here once a week and fly home, my carbon foot print would look like a slice of their pizza and I would okay with it cause my belly and soul would be content. “As a French visitor living close to the Italian border, I’m probably a little picky about pizza. I can honestly say these are very good pizzas!

What made the experience even better was the warm welcome. My spoken English is very bad but the person who took my order was very patient and friendly. We talked together and it made me feel really welcome. I really appreciated that.
