“wide open atmosphere, excellent food and great service. Found the beer to be of high quality. Build a flight and you will love it!”
“The food and service was very good. Sweaty and the crew are great. Ordered Bademjan and Falafel for appetizers. For our entrees we had Rack of lamb and Mansaf. The portions are very generous. To end the meal we had Baklava M'hallabiah with Turkish coffee.”
“Amazing food 👍😊great taste and very creative 😉 excellent service! Highly recommended 👍”
“We really enjoyed our first meal at Hanami. we were greeted by a friendly server and she brought us menus and chopsticks. We ordered seafood ramen, katsu ramen and a veggie roll.
my fiance enjoyed his first time having abalone! We really liked how they prepared the squid as well. My katsu was lightly fried and perfectly crunchy. The veggie roll was fresh and delicious.
The ambiance was our favorite part! So many pretty things to look at! And we really enjoyed the music as well.
thank you for the yummy meal!”

“A lot of choices to make your own Poke Bowl at affordable price. You cannot go wrong. it was my bf and I'm first time to try it there and know regret at all. Highly recommended. 👍”
“I’ve been coming to Angry Fish for years. A small but, wonderful hidden gem on a busy Main Street in San Leandro. Twin brothers who look alike, JACKIE & VINCENT remembered our orders & drinks immediately as soon as we’re seated. Their sushi rolls are hand rolled, nigiri was fresh, sashimi is outstanding, service is quick and accurate. Come early and hungry for the best experience! Thank You Angry Fish!”

“Kaisen don offers customers an exceptional variety of authentic Japanese food, a serene setting, and outstanding service from Maney: our favorite server/hospitality goddess extraordinaire. She's consistently attentive, responsive, professional, dedicated, and accommodating regardless of how busy she may be. While we usually dine on Sunday nights, we went on a very busy Saturday evening and although she was absolutely swamped, we still received stellar service as always. Maney makes Kaisen don our #1 favorite Japanese restaurant and we've become loyal regulars. Eveything we've tried on the menu is delicious and authentic. Don't miss it!”
“We are new to the area and so far have had pizza from Bluebirds twice. First time my husband went and picked it up, the second we ate in. This is some of the best pizza we have ever had and my husband is from Philly. I’ve had pizza in NYC and this was better. Few tables inside but worth eating in, they have an unusual selection of beers and non alcoholic drinks. If you have never had Bluebirds, you have to eat there.”

“This place is a staple in the Washington Manor area. I'd guess that the service is what people come for. They're always super nice and they're never so crowded that you get overlooked or forgotten. It's an old family/meeting spot for us around here so I fully support them.”

“If you crave an old fashion burger complete with iceberg lettuce this place is for you. Today was my first time there and I went with the cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was good. Not great but honest. Gave it 7.5. The crinkled fries were mid. Pretty sure they were frozen. I didn't eat em all. Needed salt. The shake was decent and you get a large. Right there i knew it wouldn't be the best shake. For 20 bucks plus tip it was ok. I don't think i got their best. Next time I'm trying the teriyaki burger and chicken. It's a small, side of the road joint that's so close to being incredible.”
“It's basically a storefront at a small business park that serves Mediterranean food and a few American-style items too. The food is fresh and flavorful. However, there is no indoor seating, so it's either a take-out option or there are a few tables and chairs available under a sun sail in the parking lot.”
“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa”
“Menu selections are varied and excellent. The minestrone is a very good specialty. Portions are generous. Steaks are excellent and generous in portion size. Breakfast and egg dishes are always consistent. Service is cheerful. Salads are great especially with an Elio’s Greek style dressing..”
“Rocky's has been a great place to enjoy for quite a long time. I have enjoyed many different burgers here but I do love the western style with onion rings and bacon and cheese and of course barbecue sauce. I have been here after trips to the Oakland zoo. I have been here with family members that decided to meet here for a great burger and some fries. I've also been here with just a minimal amount of money in my pocket to enjoy a burger and some comfort close to my home neighborhood off of Davis Street. I have to say this place is a hidden gem and if you know it's worth it to go and have a nice burger the way you like it and enjoy your time in San Leandro. It is close to St. Leander's if you are headed there, but it's also really close to most of downtown San Leandro within walking distance which is really enjoyable if you're looking to go up and down East 14th and enjoy all the different businesses of San Leandro has to offer. I really enjoy this place for the flavor and the burgers the way that they're dressed and the size that you can have. It is definitely worth a try.”
“I love this restaurant!! This place is probably my favorite restaurant I've ever been to. They have so many options and everything on the menu is delicious! Their vegan pies are amazing!! They have an extensive brunch menu with the flexibility of adding a pancake or french toast side dish to your order. I love sweet and savory for brunch but I can never finish those huge breakfasts so this place is perfect for me!! On top of that the cafe is so cute and the staff is so friendly. I loved it so much I went twice during my one week stay!”
“The best XLB I ever had. The thickness of the exterior dumpling that holds the delicious pork soup mixture inside is the perfect balance where you can gently and carefully pull it apart from the parchment paper it sits upon without tearing and spilling everywhere, and it is not too soft, not too hard, but perfect. Only someone with a masterful and skilled hand could have done this, and the Chef takes confidence and pride in their dumplings, looking through the glass to see our reaction of that first bite, eagerly awaiting for the joy inside to let loose into a smile and a laugh. I pray that this place never goes out of business. The staff was friendly enough, the environment was clean enough, the decor was cute and simple, there is one restroom, very well stocked and clean, and smells kind of like the very first Yugioh starter pack kit, back when it was just Yugi and Kaiba starter decks. I also had a refreshing berry drink that was worth it. We got XLB classic and crab, pan fried soup dumpling, and the very delicious fresh pea leaves which was worth it's price fully in satisfaction of flavor, vibrantness, and freshness. The flavor of their vinegar and chilli was also not cheap or lacking, but very good in spice level and flavor and vinegariness, which isn't a word, I know, but like come on. This place is so so so good. I need to go again.”

“Very good food and excellent customer service you feel really welcomed as you come into the restaurant and the atmosphere feels so good the staff are really nice they even offered us a cold drink on the house because it was hot outside you should definitely come and try this place out”
“6/28/26 I came here today with my best friend to come pick up a pizza for my family and i was treated with the most kindness i’ve ever experienced at a restaurant, The man in the front was the most sweetest person ever and kept checking in with us to give us updates on our food and he kept checking in to see how we were doing and feeling! The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful and filling,I would absolutely recommend this place 10/10”
“Our new go-to for Korean food! Love the authentic feel in this restaurant along with offering a mix of popular and not so well known traditional Korean dishes.
What we’ve tried:
* bossam (grilled pork belly wraps) - DIY, yummy
* cod fish soup - first time to try ever, love it
* galak casserole - another first time to try, very hearty and delicious
Definitely going back here again :)”
“I had such a beautiful dreamy experience at this restaurant The turquoise the white linen the spotless atmosphere...just a breath of fresh air and divine food like it came down from heaven... it was amazing! The hospitality was exquisite. The way the family owners greeted us...catered to us...and the executive chef herself came to our table to greet us. This restaurant is GEM in the heart of San Leandro if you want to have a fine dining experience and absolute fabulous food made by a extremely talented Executive Greek Chef you are in for a treat and a divine one for sure! This is the kind of restaurant chef movies are inspired by!! 5 Michelin Stars for me!!!!”
“Lotus Leaf is a fantastic spot for Vietnamese food in San Leandro! The pho was flavorful and comforting, and the fresh spring rolls were delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and full of authentic flavor. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive. A great place for a casual lunch or dinner, especially if you love pho and Vietnamese cuisine. Definitely worth coming back!”
“Just went on Wednesday as I was passing through. I didn’t realize that they were open do to the farmers market being right there as well. Went inside and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was very good. I will definitely be back.”
“Carmelle was so friendly and helpful! Service was on point and the Chicken Pad Thai was delicious!! The house salad with their house dressing is to die for!! Highly recommend.”
“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.”

“The McDonald’s in San Leandro is definitely a standout for the area. It gets very busy—especially before dinner time, but honestly, it’s packed almost any time of day. That said, the customer service is impressive. The staff does a great job keeping the line moving and making sure everyone is taken care of.
We ordered a Happy Meal and asked about specific toys, and the employee was super patient and helpful. Even with the rush, they made sure we got what we needed. The drive-thru can be a bit hectic, so just be patient—but overall, great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“I absolutely love Fifth Wheel and have been going almost every Saturday for the past few years with my partner. It started when he moved to the area and we were looking for a new breakfast spot. The other spots just didn't hit the mark, but Fifth Wheel has been consistent. Everyone on staff is so nice and the restaurant is cozy. It's not too big inside, so you may be waiting, but it never takes too long during the peak times on Saturdays. Ordering to go is also a nice and quick option if you don't want to wait.”
“Legit Mexican food! Best al pastor I have ever had and this Texas girl has had a lot!! Don’t skip the chicken here..it is a flavor paradise. These guys know what they are doing. Elote was spot on. Come hungry. We will definitely return. And the customer service was great. Very nice people 🌮 🌮🌮”

“Nick the Greek is always a spot that's fairly consistent across all of their locations (at least the ones I've been to). It was nice to be greeted when I walked in and the cashier had welcomed me in with a smile. It's been a while since someone welcomed me or my friends into a restaurant with a smile, so this was appreciated. This location also had plenty of seats and since I went during lunch, I could really sit anywhere.”
“I was glad to have a restaurant that sell authentic Liberian food in NorCal. The food was very delicious and I would recommend to anyone interested in trying African food (Especially Liberian) to check this place out. Their service is top notched.”
“Dishes are fresh and well prepared. Excellent drink list. They have a bar themed portion of the restaurant, booth, seating, and countertop seating. Open till 10 last call for food is 930. Large parking lot behind the restaurant makes it easy to always find a place.”
“Had the Chicken Teriyaki Dinner. The Service was fast and Inviting. Started with the Miso Soup that was really good. The Chicken Teriyaki Came with White Rice and a Salad. The Portions were A Decent Size and Boy was it good. All of It..Every Single Bit..I asked for extra salad dressing and I got it.Very good Miso Dressing...The Service remained great throughout my meal. What a great hidden Spot in the Pelton Center. “I ordered here last week for my whole family. They made their meat so soft compared to other restaurants. Also, they have excellent customers service. They all are very nice and friendly. I only tried Grill Porks and Shrimps Vermicelli. I’ll definitely come to try noodle soup next time. I highly recommend this restaurant. ❤️🥰🍲🍛🥢🍴”
“Came here with my family and the food is absolutely amazing. Very authentic and amazing salsa. If the salsa is good you know the food Is good. The staff are very attentive and make sure your set while you enjoy your food. Best little family restaurant in the area!!”
“I did a surprise blind door dash delivery from Texas to my grieving family across town where you are locally and they were appreciative, happy and said it was delicious “it made our morning” and “never thought i would be drinking a lavender tea”If we every make it that way I will come try for myself. 🤜🏼🤛🏼 thanks”
“Dropped in for some pho and really enjoyed the meal. The service was really great and friendly. Pho- quite delicious. I liked the quality of the goods, the mint and thai basil leaves were very impressive, so fresh and HUGE and tasted great. This place also served their bowls with limes which is funny because I've seen it becoming rarer, where lemons are being substituted and I'm the former so I appreciated that. The cuts of meat were these nice long strips, high quality.
I also got a banh xeo and that things was awesome. Whoever cooked it did so perfectly... nice crunch on the rim, juicy interior. The batter has coconut milk, so each bite is so flavorful. This was my favorite dish. Again, high quality meats and veggies, and huge! Good stuff. Also their coffee has a great condescended milk to coffee ratio, super sweet and rich yum”
“Great bar and atmosphere. Was visiting a friend in the area and decided to go after eating Ramon across the street. The bartender did an awesome job with the drinks and had funny convos. Definitely come here for a nice chill spot in San Leandro! Fridays are kareoke nights!!!”

“Even After devouring my torta all I could say was “ wow that was fire” over and over… I got half steak and half chicharrón , the steak was juicy and flavorful and the chicharrón was phenomenal and had the perfect crunch to go with the soft bolillo roll, all the toppings combined were perfect.. from 1 to 5 stars ⭐️ I give it 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️from the customer service, to the wait time to the flavors ?????”
“The food is delicious no matter what you eat, The owner goes above the call of duty to make you welcome! Great hospitality love it !!”
“If you're craving for Japanese in San Leandro or anywhere in the East Bay, this is the spot. Open late night is a fantastic bonus! The quality of food for a place open past 10pm was a great surprise.
The huge menu has something for everyone. Sashimi, specialty sushi rolls, nigiri, ramen, tempura, bento combos, and yakatori! And plenty of beer and sake to wash it all down.”

“They just hosted our annual Post-Thanksgiving Dinner. We were a party of 30. So much amazing food, and the service was wonderful. There are some special dishes we ordered that needed to be pre-ordered. “House Special Crab and Curry Crab” did not disappoint. We will definitely be back to try more dishes when we are in town.”
“My family went there for an after gathering for a woman that was well know throughout the Spanish community,Most of us went to school together her children and a lot of other families,it was awesome to be able to se people i haven't seen in years it was pretty emotional we were all invited to the Mama Lupe's Cocina They had a spread for all of us,the food was delicious.I like Mexican food but this was totally delicious Hum Yummy!. First time there for me.But will be back there again, when i go to the Bay .I recommended!.They had to close the restaurant for us!.Talking about celebration of life Was very impressed.”
“You definitely get your money's worth and the food is awesome.
I live in Newark. I drive about 30 minutes to get there but it's worth it. Every time I order something there it's always fresh. I've tried most of their items there, and everything is perfect. Staff is super nice and quick.”
“8-Twelve is a true neighborhood gem. It is the kind of place where kids can grab a snack and a fun drink for a reasonable price, and then just relax after school. Even though it is not as close to the middle or high school as some of the other hangouts, it has become one of our favorites.
I appreciate that it has lasted the test of time and I hope it continues to thrive. One of the best parts is that they offer non-caffeinated tea drinks for the kids, which is rare and so thoughtful.
8-Twelve has that welcoming vibe that makes it feel like part of the community.”
“I’ve just recently discovered ibringdasmoke and I’m glad I did! My first order with them was the smoked brisket…it was so good! I just recently ordered a slab of ribs from them and my friend and I loved it! We got a little sample of the Mexican street corn which was very nice of them. I thought it was ok, but my friend enjoyed it. Their spices and the tenderness of their meats are great as well as their bbq sauce. The meat isn’t overly salty which is great. I have recommended this place to my friends and I will definitely be back!”
“I recently visited San Gaspar. The restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the visit. Service was prompt, and the place was clean and comfortable.
However, I was disappointed with the Shrimp Taco. Compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, it was noticeably smaller and more expensive for what was served. While the flavor was decent, the portion size did not justify the price.
Overall, it’s a nice spot with good service and a welcoming environment, but I think the food portions and value for money could be improved. I would consider returning to try other menu items, but I hope they revisit the pricing and portion sizes.”
“went here the other day for lunch (for the 1st time ever). due to a coworker introducing me to your DELICIOUS sandwiches, you are going to see A LOT MORE!!! Thank you very much! and my one and only recommendation, PLEASE COME AND TRY & SUPPORT! This deli is the real deal & so AMAZING & DELICIOUS! Lastly, the family/ customer service is GREAT!! Thank you again! ✌🏽 ❤ 🥪 😋”
“My old pal Limney Gilbert got kicked in the mouth by one of Bucktoothed Mary's horses a month ago, and he's had his mouth wired shut since then. This morning they cut the wires! He asked me to bring him a ham sandwich and chips from the Joaquin Deli because he's been drinking all his meals from a straw, and he's ready to chew! It's my first time at the Joaquin Deli and I'll tell you what...it's clean, the ingredients are fresh as can be and the prices are right where they should be! The workers put the customers first, and not because the boss told them too, they do it as if they owned the place! Very refreshing in today's world! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆”
“About once a week I order food from Los Pericos because it’s always delicious. My preference is their tacos pastor. Today I decided to order the super burrito with chorizo & asked them to cut it in 1/2. They went a step further & individually wrapped each 1/2. I knew this burrito was going to be lunch & dinner, they didn’t. It may not seem like much to many, their customer service is awesome!”
“The Pancit is the bomb. Call ahead first because they make the food fresh”

“We had an exceptional experience at the San Leandro BR thanks to their staff member, Paul! He helped us with the purchase of an ice cream cake and went above and beyond providing outstanding customer service! Paul offered us the option of having the cake personalized. We didn’t know that was even possible since it was a smaller size cake. Not only was he able to write Happy Birthday, he even added a name. Astonishingly this young man had beautiful penmanship, AND wrote everything in cursive, SO IMPRESSIVE!!! Thank you, Paul! Your politeness, friendly attitude, and professionalism was so much appreciated!”

“Food was good as usual! I don’t think the waitress want to wait on me as I had to ask for chips&salsa and to bring my water while I wait for my food. When she finally brought me the food , no silverware and napkins. I went to staging area and tore off some brown paper”
