“Had dinner there with my wife, nice staff and quickly served. The waitress was nice and allowed to substitute chicken with tofu (your choice of regular or fried) for the curry, which was not on the menu. My wife really enjoys the mint chicken but I have to say that the curry was a little watery and tasted like most of the spice came from black pepper. A little odd, would probably try something else next time.“

“The Real Deal. From the hot and sour soup to the orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, garlic green beans, eggplant, lo mein, it’s got it all-we’ve been twice after a Kings game and have not been disappointed- we over order just to get the variety of flavors in our mouths. The food is fantastic, the staff is genuine and gets the importance of hospitality.“

“The best food and the best service! This is our third time coming here and nothing ever misses. The lunch is always a great vibe! This last time was with a big party of 8 and it was all handled seamlessly and everyone loved their meals, so thought it was time to give them a shoutout! Of the 3 times we've had the same server (Adrian) and they are truly such a special server happy to be there and be helpful! We couldn't remember if we like the shiro or shouyo more and they were helping us trying to figure it out, was super sweet and funny!! Thank you again!!!“

“Came here on a Sunday night around 7 pm, wait for 15 mins and I was in.It’s a cute little shop that serves good udon. I tried the Takoyaki and it was fine, not great. Little too doughy for me.For the udon we tried the miso carbonara and the hot dragon. I would say that they were both good. Carbonara is very creamy and milky while the hot dragon packed some good flavors. The hot dragon felt like it was more food than the carbonara.Took about 15 mins to get our food so a bit slow but I think they handcraft the noodles so many that’s why it took a while? About $50 for two udons and an app.“

“Classic pho place that my parents brought us to when we were kids. I realized that my parents, especially my dad, was a true foodie of his time, before all the technology and online reviews were even available. He brought us to try so many different cuisines, and we have come to appreciate Vietnamese food since we were kids.“

“Totally worth the 70 minute drive. Delicious food and great Taiwanese hospitality. Friendly, attentive staff and wonderful atmosphere. Minced Pork (Lu-Rou) Rice, fully loaded delicious stewed pork with egg. Meats are juicy and tender, kinda on the sweet side. Clamshell bun (Gua Bao) comes with tender thick cut pork, a bit on the salty side, but very well cooked. Fatty but not greasy. Thousand layer pancake with egg and basil was crispy and flaky. The basil flavor is a wonderful addition. Scallion bread sandwich was what we expected. Same tender thick cut pork, very happy to eat this. Next time I will probably get the beef, too much pork belly today Wonton soup is very classic, if you like shrimp wontons, you have to try this. We ended the meal with Hakka mochi and Oolong tea, the mochi tasted just like the ones in Taiwan. The tea was fragrant and is just the perfect compliment to the mochi. Overall an amazing meal with warm and friendly people, highly recommend!“

“A bit pricey, but it's an excellent Pho restaurant. Food are really delicious ? Parking might be difficult. Tiny plaza with narrow parking spaces. But people come and go quickly... I took out 1 ⭐ for their parkings. Really hate their parking.“

“Amazing food. We got the bolognese, cacio e Pepe and the carbonara. The food was so so good. Amazing flavors and the pasta was so fresh and had a perfect texture. My only complaint is the tiramisu, I felt it was a little too heavy-creamy, but I think that’s just me. Meat is good quality too! Long time waiting for it but totally worth it!“

“This is our second time here and the food was just as good as the first time we went there. It’s my husband’s favorite spot for beef noodle soup. The pan fried buns were crispy on the bottom and soupy on the inside (perfection). Try the honey green tea! It big enough to share between two people. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious Taiwanese food! They also have a nice parking lot (unlike most places in LA).“

“BEST Taiwanese beef noodle soup hands down! I've never been wow'd by Taiwanese beef noodle soup and this place was a first! They're a small shop but has some big tables for large groups. Food:- House special braised beef noodle (5/5): the soup is PACKED with flavor. Tendon is so soft. Noodle is perfectly cooked. - Braised pork rice (4/5): tender pork. Not too flavorful. Decent dish overall- Pig ears with red oil (4/5): on the less crunchy side but good flavor- Red oil wontons (2/5): both the wontons and chili oil lacked flavor“

“This was a delicious! We had about 6 dishes and we couldn't agree which was the best. The tea leaf salad was perfect. I loved the stream bean with palartha (bread). They must make the tofu in house because it was magical, smooth and delicious. Everything was flavored to perfection and the service was fantastic. I am a vegetarian and they were very accommodating about leaving fish sauce out of the dishes. It felt like being at a family friend's house.“

“If you haven’t been here before the setup might be confusing. You should head all the way to the back, go to the cashier, tell him the number of people, get a table number from him, and then get a bowl and start putting stuff you want in the bowl. The bowl is weighed and charged by the pound, but you don’t pay until you’re done eating. Then you hand the bowls to the cashier to order what type of soup you want. They hand you order numbers and you go to your table and just wait for them to bring you food. You can also make sauces at the sauce station. When you’re finished, bring your bowls back to the front and pay. Also note that you get one tong for picking up all the foods, so if cross contamination is a concern or you have food allergies, this might not be the best place to go.The lady in the front was not helpful and just shouted Chinese at us and acted like we were in her way for not knowing the rules. Some of the customers tried to help us too, but they should really just post the rules outside the store or in front of the front door to help newcomers. I think if you look East Asian, they will assume you speak Mandarin, so you should mention that you don’t speak it to clear the air. The rest of service was fine and nice, just the initial confusion didn’t feel very good.“

“How could I forget about this beautiful restaurant for months since my first visit with girl friends last September? I am so glad I suddenly remember this restaurant last Saturday, the first day of the Chinese new year! The interior decoration is perfect for Chinese new year! This is My family's first time visit! They all love it! Perfect for pictures! It is a shame for not many people knowing this place, because they are only two tables occupied during our 1.5 hour visit. The only waitress is Miss Iris from Taipei. She is super nice and friendly! Fortunately, when we left, there were two parties coming in! We love the food maybe because the owner and the chef are from my hometown Taiwan, according to the waitress! The presentation is so beautiful! Perfect for my Facebook postings! I already told my college girlfriends about our next reunion location! Here! Perfect for our group pictures!“

“We wanted something healthy but flavorful for dinner and happened upon this place in the neighborhood, pretty no frills on the inside. Clearly a big focus on deliveries, but there's plenty of tables. We each got a steak banh mi and WOW was it good! So much flavor, and the bread was perfect; hard enough to hold it together, but easy to bite into. The crispy spring rolls were perfect as well, clearly freshly made and decently sized. We also split some noodles and were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Definitely will be back.“

“We love coming to this place for a Thai cuisine! I would say the service rates three out of five since they are so busy, and take quite a while to get you seated. However it's doesn't come as a surprise, the food is amazing. Typically always pair my curry or the pad sew with one of there Thai iced tea. Overall, this is the best Thai spot in Rosemead area. “This place really lives up to the hype. It's casual and delicious. The pork xiao long baos are like little dumplings from heaven. Small but packed with flavor. The normal pork buns are also pretty tasty not as good as the long baos. The beef noodle soup has a ton of flavor and I recommend it. For dessert it seems gimmicky but the chocolate bao w/ the whip is... Amazing. Perfect way to top off a meal.“

“I would highly recommend this place for dim sum. However, I must mention that the deep-fried pandan bun (斑斓生煎包) falls below the standard. Nevertheless, every other dish is definitely worth trying. “Read about this place in the paper. Bae and I are always saying things like "we should explore the culinary delights of the sgv" but are often intimidated because we don't speak Chinese and have little familiarity with the cuisine beyond the white people Chinese restaurants of our respective coasts (she east, me west). We ordered from the internet even though we were there because we had our dog with us. The noodles were extremely, extremely good, the other ingredients (beef, chicken, veggies) were pretty standard. If i was to return I just get noodles straight up, I feel like the other stuff just distracts from the main event. Bae couldn't eat hers because she comes from a place (new england) where people say stuff is too spicy because there is PEPPER in the dish. Like, the pepper you have at your house. I cooked a dish with pepper once and her mom wouldn't eat it for that reason. Also the service was good, they actually called us because they were out of something we ordered and wanted to make sure they gave us a refund or something else.Unless you are a monster two people can split one dish here, any dish. If you order more than one dish per two people left overs are a given. Also, we drove around for an hour before we got home and the food was still warm.Vegetarian options: Noodles! Tofu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten!Parking: Free lot in the shopping plaza but lots of venerable people entering and exiting so be careful. Free street parking out front.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“A very small Thai restaurant but great food. There isn't a very big parking lot in the back but you can find parking nearby on the streets. There also isn't many tables inside so that is why the wait times get so long. Luckily, we came at a good time and didn't have to wait. The employees are friendly and have good service too.We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, chicken satay, khao soi. The satay was okay but I really liked the pad thai and pad see ew. However, the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. One dish is barely enough for one person. But I guess the size is good for trying different dishes with friends.“
“This is THE place to get popcorn chicken in the 626! I've been coming to P P Pop for awhile now and I have yet to have anything I didn't like. The popcorn chicken serving here is huge, and the chicken is really moist and flavorful. I get mild spice and it's pretty spicy imo! The beef noodle soup is also a favorite of mine. I love the chewiness of the noodles and the beef chunks always fall apart. The drinks are served in huuuge cups so that's also very worth the price. Service is always great and they're very comfortable speaking English.“

“I enjoyed all the food I ordered. Scallion pancakes, pork bun, braised beef soup with thin and thick noodles, and the best fried rice ever. I would definitely order from here again. Too bad I didn't take any pictures of my food as I gobbled it all up. One thing to note is that, and I believe, there are 4 types of noodle options, thick, thin, flat, and wide!Parking: Shares a small lot with the rest of the plaza“

“Good Chinese food USED to be easy to find not so any more. This was the best Chinese food I have had in years, literally! “Highly recommend the Chiu Chow Fish Ball Noodles here. The fish balls here are fresh and bouncy with the right amount of peppery. There’s seating outside of the restaurant in the plaza area, making for a nice people-watching lunch. Also, you can’t beat the price at ~$11 per bowl of noodles! Even with the saturated availability of Chinese/Teochow food in the SGV, I would still make the trek out to Chinatown for Kim Chuy’s fish ball noodles!“

“When thinking of soup in the Pasadena area we have our favorite places. Last Friday evening we tried this fairly new Ramen place that has been open about two years. When walking in we were greeted and seated quickly. The place was not so busy for a Friday evening but later more customers did arrive which is a good sign. We were seated and the menu was simple and prices were in the range of other soup restaurants in the area. We got our water and tea quickly and the servers kept our water glasses full. Very attentive staff. My wife ordered the gyoza and the Tonkatsu ramen and I had the Shoyu Ramen. Food was delicious and if you don't like your food too salty, get the more creamier Tonkatsu Ramen. My Shoyu ramen had spinach which was surprisingly delicious. The food portions looked small but once we started eating they were very hearty portions. I was not able to finish my noodles. We will definitely be back as they also have Mazesoba here which is dry noodles with egg. Can't wait to try these dishes.“

“I've been here twice before when it first opened, and both times I thought it was too salty! So I never went there again.I stopped by for lunch today because I was nearby, and I didn’t expect that the food tasted just right! The service is also very good! “2023.09.16 \First visit/Originally, I wasn’t very interested in eating noodles in LA, but Flavor Noodles changed my mind. This time I ordered fatty beef noodles in sour soup, Sichuan style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. I can’t choose which one is more delicious, I like them both! Looking forward to ordering something else on my next visit that I didn't have the stomach for this time.2024.01.09\Second interview/I finally had the opportunity to visit for a second time, but today I was a bit disappointed. I ordered beef noodles with raw pepper, Sichuan-style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. The Chao Shou was more delicious than the last time I had it, but the taste of both bowls of noodles was a bit bland. Last time the sausage was very full, but today it looks thin. The beef noodles with raw pepper are quite spicy. Will be willing to visit again to see if today was just an anomaly, but will order back the beef noodles in sour soup next time.Recommended: Fatty Beef Noodles in Sour Soup“

“Hakata Ikkousha Ramen is in my top 3 of favorite ramen restaurants in LA. Specifically the black devil ramen, which is my go to order. The fusion of the garlic from the black tonkatsu and the spice from the god fire makes the perfect broth. Chasu is thin, and the egg is cooked perfect with the yolk runny. I go in on the noodles and order kaedama (extra noodles) for only $2 more. I order the noodles hard with the spicy level 3. I have a high spice tolerance, so 3 is perfect for that kick and very enjoyable. At times I get level 4 spicy but it can overpower the black tonkatsu broth because it's pretty spicy. 5-star ramen, excellent choice for a cold night! All the staff are enthusiastic and just overall a great authentic ramen experience. The restaurant is small so prepare to wait at least 25 -45min for dinner.“
