And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! Thanks to everyone at Bouchon for a very special evening.”

Even my non-gluten free friends were extremely impressed. I have a wheat allergy so I asked them what kind of gluten free flour they use, and they do use a mix of potato and rice flours/Starches. They do have vegan options for those with other food intolerances. I’ll say, I had the best toasted ham and Swiss sandwich, on top of all the desserts. I’ve been in Santa Barbara for 2 days and I’ve already been there 3 times! The vibes of the bakery are also super cute. The atmosphere ties the whole experience together.”

Lots of seating inside and outside with parking, although currently (mid November 2025) there is some construction on the street right outside so it may cause a little traffic, but still enoflow to visit here. The almond croissant was one of the best I have had, seriously.

I walked one mile away because of the great things I heard about Jill’s Place. And you know what? I was not disappointed! I was stoked and impressed greatly 🥰😁 I had two wonderful, dazzling, and sweet waitresses (lucky me!). I was served a yummy chicken breast sandwich and it was the best one I had ever! No seriously! It wasn’t too salty and the bread was golden brown and ready to be munched on. The tator tots had the perfect texture. It’s almost as I had food from some amazing restaurant, which, hello, I did 😅 The place was packed, since it was Fiesta, but I imagine it always is. It sucks I live 45 minutes from this great establishment. The atmosphere was fun and a little country, but I love that. It’s casual, and not some elegant place like Lucky’s is. I’d still show up in a suit, if I could and would. Definitely check this place out and ask for the two blonde sisters who work there. Went for dinner with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and cozy this place feels! We were warmly greeted at the entrance, which immediately made us feel welcome. The lighting and atmosphere are beautifully put together, elegant yet relaxed.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Butter Chicken, perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness and tanginess that made the dish stand out. We also tried the Spicy Chicken Vindaloo, tender chicken thighs cooked in a rich, spicy masala sauce with potatoes. The flavors were incredible definitely something different from your typical curry, with unique spices and depth.
Our server, Baboo, was fantastic very attentive, respectful, and friendly. Excellent customer service all around. I also noticed they offer a great selection of wines, which really adds the cherry on top for a perfect date night experience.
