“The pan-seared peppercorn-crusted filet mignon with potatoes au gratin and sautéed asparagus were as good as I've had anywhere. Thick, small and perfectly cooked medium-rare. And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! Thanks to everyone at Bouchon for a very special evening.”

“Food was great! We tried the sweet breads- my favorite, lobster gnocchi-daughters fave, ramen-good, scallops-super lite and fresh, and the catch of the day-very tasty. The amazing menu doesn’t necessarily lend itself to picky kid eaters (my son) but he loved the catch of the day with the sauce on the side. The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!”

“This review is long overdue and unfortunately really really wanted it to be a 5 star! I’m a food courier so I come here (as well as all the fast food chains in SB/Goleta) almost every night. I especially come to the 24 hr restaurants bc I work the graveyard. When I come in and see their lead Marcella working I immediately know it’s going to be a pleasant visit! This woman and her team just kill it every single time! It can be wall to wall busy or dead as can be but no matter what Marcella always has a smile and always welcomes me with genuine warmth! She clearly can see how hard I work and she’s even asked me how I was doing as a rude customer was non stop ranting at her for some stupid reason! She works so hard and obviously cares very much about her job here. Her team listens to her and responds so well that you can tell they have much respect for her. It can get really crazy busy there especially on the weekends after the bars close. She handles the insane amount of sudden orders like a boss and keeps the drunkards at bay! If I could I’d write you a novel about the last fiesta weekend where I thought for sure she’d break I would! I was literally stepping over drunk people that Saturday night! She kept her composure, never hesitated, stayed calm and professional and pushed out those orders like it was nothing! If she’s not already she’s deserves max pay! At least a future manager! Bravo Marcella! Easily my favorite late night employee!
So I really dislike giving bad reviews but they lost a star bc on 2 nights a week (I think) there is another lead who is the complete opposite of Marcella. In fact I wouldn’t normally even say anything except that this girl hates me for some reason I’m not aware of. Everytime I come in and she’s the lead I know that she’s going to first give me a super horrible dirty look, ask me what I want or just nod with an eye roll (which I’ve learned means what do you want), act extremely annoyed and put off, put my order on the counter without saying a word or even looking at me (I’ve actually waited for her to tell me it’s my order and the running time is 16 minutes she let me stand there), never saying hello , goodbye thank you just nothing. I’ve tried asking her if I’ve done something? Just looks confused. I make sure I’m polite always greeting her saying thank you but no matter what just loathes my presence! Which would be fine if I deserved it but honestly can’t think of any reason why she’s so rude! I literally avoid going there, decline nice paying deliveries when she’s working…. So I knocked off a star. Ultimately I recommend this location I’ll just hope that the rude girl likes you more than she likes me. Marcella is a rockstar!!”

“This is a teeny-tiny McDonalds, just a few seats inside, and most of the action is the drive-through and curbside pickup. The biggest challenge at this location is navigating the dense and chaotic Mesa Shopping Center parking lot. They're open to 4 am!”

“As far as neopoliton pizza spots go in Santa Barbara this is definitely up there. They have a tight menu and the pies all look great. Pricing is definitely on the higher side but it is artisan pizza as other reviews have stated. I knocked a star off because I felt like one of my two pizzas was undercooked and the garlic knots were also undercooked.”

The chicken sandwich was very well balanced. The bread was very light and didn’t overwhelm the sandwich and the spicy slaw, Swiss cheese, and tomato complimented the crispy chicken.

The macho salad was very unique with the dates, chicken, goat cheese, avocado, almonds, tomatoes and greens lightly dressed in a vinaigrette and the most amazing corn bread croutons.

My husband eats gluten, but tried the turkey sandwich one day and now he’s hooked! Can’t even tell it’s gluten free. The bread is so delicious, bacon perfectly crispy! I also love their tuna sandwich. Sometimes I add cheese & make it a tuna melt. We love all there desserts and treats too. Even my non-gluten free friends were extremely impressed. I have a wheat allergy so I asked them what kind of gluten free flour they use, and they do use a mix of potato and rice flours/Starches. They do have vegan options for those with other food intolerances. I’ll say, I had the best toasted ham and Swiss sandwich, on top of all the desserts. I’ve been in Santa Barbara for 2 days and I’ve already been there 3 times! The vibes of the bakery are also super cute. The atmosphere ties the whole experience together.”

Went for dinner with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and cozy this place feels! We were warmly greeted at the entrance, which immediately made us feel welcome. The lighting and atmosphere are beautifully put together, elegant yet relaxed.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Butter Chicken, perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness and tanginess that made the dish stand out. We also tried the Spicy Chicken Vindaloo, tender chicken thighs cooked in a rich, spicy masala sauce with potatoes. The flavors were incredible definitely something different from your typical curry, with unique spices and depth.
Our server, Baboo, was fantastic very attentive, respectful, and friendly. Excellent customer service all around. I also noticed they offer a great selection of wines, which really adds the cherry on top for a perfect date night experience.

“This was our big saving grace for our morning coffee place - and walking distance from our rental! Peets wasn't nearby and we were visiting from out of state (we are OG Northern Californians moved elsewhere)....we needed deep coffee with a Peets-like offerings. “My husband and I just had our first dining experience at Gracie, and we loved it! 😁 The remodel is fantastic—definitely an upgrade from the Breakwater—with gorgeous harbor views that made for the perfect romantic Friday night.

We started off in the bar area, which has been beautifully reimagined with a sleek, club-like vibe. The plush blue velvet bar stools were super comfortable. My husband ordered the P.O.G. Margarita, while I went with a Nojito (with a splash of pineapple). Both were beautifully crafted—so much so that my husband happily switched to the Nojito as well.🍹

For appetizers, we shared the cannellini bean hummus with warm focaccia, the stone fruit burrata, and the sweet potato croquettes with labna. Each one was delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My husband ordered the steak frites au poivre, and he loved the sauce—a high compliment coming from a Frenchman! 😄

Our server, Jazz, was warm, attentive, and so much fun, which made the evening all the more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back 👍👍😁”

“Bruxie is not necessarily a hole in the wall, but it’s an underrated gem for sure! All the food was delicious, the coffee - some of the best I’ve had in recent memory & brought to us by the kind & warm woman at the till. The atmosphere is chill and the wait was nonexistent (granted we sat down at 3:30pm). If you’re looking for some mean burgers at a reasonable price, definitely pay a visit :)”

The seasoning of the Little Bird sandwich is quite well balanced , and the chicken fillet is already better than the chicken katsu meal in wabi sabi ( I do ordered both).”
