“I think this is about the best French restaurant in California or perhaps the US. This was not the intended destination, but my friend and I were extremely glad that we went, since we're Francophiles!! They feature classically French dishes, but also Italian, making it a bit of fusion cuisine. Okay, a mojito is not French, but it was one of the best I have had in a very long time! I stuck to French cuisine. Started with soup a l'onion. Delicious! A lot of gruyere and the right amount of onions, bread and soup. Next were the escargots in olive oil with a lot of garlic! Yum! Main course was the mussels! Those had to be the largest, most succulent mussels I have ever had! They came with fries, but you really didn't need them. I brought them home. Last was the Napoleon or mille feuille. Creamy! There were three layers: one with just the cream, second with strawberries, and the last with nuts. Wow! Never had one like that! The proprietor was very kind. He brought us our drinks and was very kind when we spoke to him in French. Wait staff was very courteous and we felt no pressure to eat and leave. To show how good this place was, we ended up sitting next to a well known French actor. My friend recognized him first. They say that if people of the same nationality as the restaurant dine there, it's usually a compliment to the restaurant and a testament of the food. Well, that may be so, but we Francophiles will definitely be dining again at this restaurant! Merci beaucoup!“
“I absolutely love Stache. It offers a fantastic atmosphere, delightful music, and incredibly friendly, attentive staff.Thursday trivia nights are a personal favorite of mine.I recently hosted a party there, and the manager, Sebastian, made the entire process effortless. He helped me reserve the patio - for free - and all my guests could conveniently order their food and settle their tabs using their phones. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.I wholeheartedly recommend Stache for any event or gathering. Sebastian was an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.“
“We were just random tourists and stumbled upon this place during their happy hour. The food was a delight and the cocktails were a triumph. It’s a stunning space hidden behind a modest exterior - truly a hidden gem. We sat at the bar but the patio was beyond beautiful; with lush greenery and a perfect atmosphere. The bartenders were all consummate professionals - that’s the adjective, not the verb. :) The cocktails were all balanced and innovative, lots of great twists on the classics. They were also kind enough to provide us a list of their insider recommendations for other great spots to visit. It was definitely a highlight of our trip and we plan to visit the next time we’re in town. Thank you again for your sincere hospitality.“
“Employees Only had been on our list for quite some time, so we were excited to snag a reservation and enjoy some sips and bites. The server was nice and the food was tasty. We especially enjoyed their mushroom pizza and house fries. When it comes to drinks, perhaps it was just that this place had been overhyped as some of LA's best cocktails, but I found them to be just okay. I tried the Midnight Breakfast and Eospresso and they were both ... fine. I wish there was something a little more memorable about them. The environment felt electric and trendy, but even right at open, grew loud with voices and pumped-in music. I think I'd recommend it to everyone to try once, but it wasn't the quiet, brilliant cocktail lounge I was hoping it might be.“
“Over the years, Petrossian has remained so consistent with their offerings of not just luxe caviar, but other foodstuffs as well, with great supporting sauces, creams, desserts, etc. Since the pandemic there's a bit of cutting back, though not where it really counts for me. I do miss getting their print catalogs, but their online presence is good and stacks up well against those of other caviar purveyors“
“A secret for free parking: at the very faded white curb, directly in front of Granville there is no meter. Usually available.Inside, the food is eclectic, great for a long or short. The first hamburger I've had in years was better than the picture.“
“Absolutely loved Tom Tom! I'm a fan of VR and visited from VA, stunning Resturant and the steak skirt board was absolutely delicious. Insert chefs kiss here, thanks for great experience Tom, Tom, Lisa, Kent and team! Chad was great too!! ???“
“The Conca del Sogno pop up was held at Norah, and it was a fabulous experience. The food was incredible and the service, thanks to Christian, was the cherry on top! Thank you Christian for bringing the best service and thank you Chef for bringing the most delicious pasta ever to LA!“
“The overall ambience of Ardor was exceptional. Food wise, the steak and eggs really stood out to me. The yellowtail tar tar would be better with plantain chips or something crunchy rather than lettuce. The oysters and the onion rings were delightful. The pasta on the brunch menu was okay, as well as the eggs benedict. Our dessert which was the cheesecake and churro waffle were amazing. Our server was super attentive and made sure every need was met.“
“Stopped here on a whim for a quick drink, and we ended up staying for dinner and ordered a few different dishes. From the outside, the entrance didn't seem too inviting as it looked very dark and appeared closed. But once inside, the place has a very nice chic ambiance, a hip young crowd, and a DJ playing some great tunes. When we visited, they'd only been open a few weeks, so it's a very new spot, and surprisingly, it filled up pretty quick. We got to see the chef step out and greet a few people. The majority of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We arrived at opening time and decided to sit at the bar for quick service. We were pleased with the bar staff's attentiveness and pleasantly surprised at how fast the place filled up, but still our food arrived with good time. Everything we ordered looked great and tasted fantastic. The drinks were nicely poured, the potato appetizer and pumpkin soup were our favorite, and we kept hearing about the lamb meatballs, so we had to order them to go - and they were perfect! Parking can be a bit hectic, street metered parking or valet (not sure of the cost).“
“Hidden gem here at Sunset Marquis! We stayed 3 days here at the property the restaurant was a stones throw away from our villa and it did not disappoint! The breakfast each morning was top notch, and the service as well. They really know how to take care of their hotel guests. No matter what request we threw at them. I cannot wait to return to the property, and this restaurant.“
“I was told by a friend that this spot was a chill place with excellent food and multiple bars. The architecture, table placement and overall setup is spectacular. If you’re a walk in, just stay at the bar till your table is ready, but might take a bit.I started off with the Crispy sesame shrimp(solid starter), Wagyu yakitori(excellent meat on a stick option). For my entree I got the Branzino(excellent flavor and cooked to perfection), Truffle fries(solid option and it was so good I ordered it twice), & finally the Blueberry Crostata with vanilla ice cream(overall awesome dessert.I’d definitely come back here. It’s a nice date spot or hang out at the bar. Customer service was on point & to get the best experience, get a reservation.***update***Tried their lobster risotto me it was amazing. Great lobster pieces and the rice was cooked perfectly.“
“We were here on the Saturday before Christmas and it was absolutely festive and fun! This was my first rooftop experience & got to watch Elf. We had tickets to the holiday bar downstairs at EP+LP for a couple drinks & we tried both the holiday martini & holiday old manhattan. There's metered street parking generally available & all the bartenders and hosts are kind and helpful with stellar personalities. MRT provides headsets and beanbags & we shared calamari and waffle fries. I would come back!“
“Thank you so much, Beaches Weho! You made celebrating my birthday fantastic! When we first arrived, they had reserved the VIP upstairs area for my big party. After we had some concerns about viewing the show from up there, they quickly put together some high top tables for us. I am very appreciative and we all had a great time!“
“Ate here because I stayed here but if I wasn't I don't think I'd go out of my way. The service was really nice. The guy was super friendly. It was pretty slow but it was also just him. The prices are higher but pretty comparable to other hotels. I got a vegetarian breakfast burrito and honestly it was a good burrito but I feel like $20 for just the burrito but no sides is a bit much for me. But that's just me. In reality it's a pretty average price. Anyways food was good, service was great, atmosphere is nice but overall nothing to write home about.“
“I remember this place as being one of the best places to go on a date because of easy to make reservation noice level and ambience and lighting. Food never disappoints and service impeccable. I wish my date was as good as the restaurant alas“
“Exactly what you would expect from a quick salad spot. I was crazing greens so popped in for a salad. I appreciated that the nutritional value was listed on the menus because some salads can be very deceiving.Opened for the tuna Niçoise salad, I enjoyed the ratio of salad to other toppings- I found the seared tuna a little salty but went well with the rest of the bowl. The service was decent but they were QUICK which is always a plus!“
“First visit after driving by for too long. Don't drive by, this is an amazing spot for brunch on the weekend! Atmosphere outside is wonderful, wait staff was on point and very helpful, food was truly special, prepared perfect and presented beautifully, as you would expect from a great spot in WEHO. We tried the Crostinis which were perfectly sized apps and had the Breakfast burrito (so fresh with Avocado, Egg, Black Beans and Bacon) and my wife had the Herb and Giat cheese omelet, in her words “it was delicious”, and great portion of food for both of us. Have already reserved our next brunch and eager to bring our out of town guests. Excellent and looking forward to dinner as well.“
