“Great restaurant ! We were visiting Summerland from France this January, and had a night out at The Nugget : the food was delicious, the atmosphere is very typical and friendly, and the staff was very pleasant. We had an amazing time and a super nice chat with one of the waiter.“
“Came for brunch in the hipster "funk zone" area, at the fairly well-known restaurant, The Lark, for my first time. Service was friendly and great, although our food came out a bit slower than expected. Still, the hostess, waitress and bussers were all informative, fun and kind. The food was fantastic! My spouse loved the shakshuka, as it was powerfully flavorful with cast iron to have that roasted touch. We could've done without the green olives in it, but more for personal taste. My chicken and waffles were also excellent. The waffles were surprisingly light and crispy, with some heavy honey butter to kick you in the mouth. Fried chicken was good. We enjoyed our mimosa flight- particularly with the sparkling wine/champagne served in a separate chilled container to dole out for the flavors (pomegranate, grapefruit, orange and cranberry, iirc). All the other sides like the oyster and hangover fries were well-suited to curb any remaining appetites. Love the decor too, particularly in the booths. Very charming, and classy, while still chill. Easy to find this restaurant nestled with other shops, pastries and coffee. Definitely would come again!“
“Looked up “best food in Santa Barbara”.This was on the list and they accepted “open table”First of all, the complimentary bread was perfection. There is a Slow cooker outside and that smelled fantastic. So I ordered the BBQ Tri Tip.Melted in my mouth like butter.Recommend! My dinner mate ordered Cod and said it wasThe best.Melt in your mouth.Flakey, in the good way, best Cod had in years. And Server Mitchell. 10/10.“
“From the moment you enter the property you are treated with respect and receive white glove service. Definitely recommend celebrating birthdays & life events here. The speakeasy, although tiny, was a fun experience and great drinks. Dinner at the restaurant was incredible. You won't be disappointed no matter what you order. And definitely save room for the desserts. Highly recommend the banana fosters and the chocolate soufflé! Gorgeous property. Incredible ambiance. Wonderful service.“
“Dined there twice. Both times were excellent. The menu has a good variety of food choices and prices. The service is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is upscale and welcoming. Give yourself a treat for a special occasion or anytime dinner.“
“This place takes you back to a different time, it's old school feel, the lighting the decor it was delightful to be sitting there. No show/or entertainment but with the excellent customer service and the music in the background it felt like an experience. Not to mention... the food! Delicious , the drinks tasty, classic, fresh! Very nice place.“
“Amy & Mitchell... "Thank You"! I recently celebrated my birthday at Bouchon and I cannot remember a more fabulous experience ever. The moment we arrived the greeting was warm and friendly. Nicholas, our server, was attentive and had fantastic suggestions for pairings and dinner selections. The music... ok let's just say the mix of Motown and 70's R&B classics made the evening even more enjoyable. I apologize for my singing! Our champagne, Lauren - Perrier, was the perfect starter and paired well with the Salade Lyonnaise. Please do not sleep on the Warm Pecan & Goat Cheese Tart. "It will change your life" is what the ladies who sat next to us said. They were not incorrect. It was a "pearl clutching experience". The venison & the steak were so well prepared a knife was just a prop. The seasoning on both were excellent. They both are a "must have"! The wine we enjoyed with dinner was absolutely amazing. Adaptation paired well with everything we enjoyed on the menu. Nicholas' suggested as we both enjoy our cabs. The blackberry upside-down cake was a great finish to the meal (it too went well with the wine). From the greet to the music to the food... this is an experience one should have. I plan to have it happen more often.“
“Beautiful place, beautiful decoration, delicious food and the attention of the guys was wonderful, we came with my husband from Fontana CA and we found this wonderful restaurant. We love Santa Barbara and now Jeannine’s.We will surely return!! “
“Best humous I have had in this country! Light and tasty. We had the humous plate with 2 other dips, goats cheese, salad and also the short ribs. We had a delightful conversation with the owner. Everything was fresh and delicious and I can't wait to go again!“
“The French onion soup was excellent, as was the quo au vin. We sat in the lovely greenhouse patio room. The restaurant was relatively quiet, making for easy conversation. The server was very good and helpfull. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.“
“Great Burger with lots of grilled carmelized onions. Salmon was superb. Josh and his crew do an excellant job as I refer many guests to this establishment from my local hotel. Victor Evarone Managing Partner Cabrillo Inn at the Beach Oceanfront "East Beach" Santa Barbara CA“

In a city known for its culinary prowess, Los Agaves stands out as a shining example of Mexican gastronomy done right. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a taste of Mexico in the heart of Santa Barbara. ---“
“This was an absolutely amazing meal!! Beginning to end we loved it all. The fritters were delicious. Duck was cooked perfectly and the desserts!! You must save room for the desserts. Do not skip the coconut cake and for chocolate lovers the marquise is divine. Run don't walk to Jane if you are in the area!!!“
“I recently got married at the Rosewood and couldn't be happier with my experience. The event planner, Andrea, was so amazing to work with. She was very attentive and quick to respond to my questions. We booked a room for our wedding day to use to get ready and it was beautiful. It made the experience that much better. The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. Getting married here was an absolute dream.“
“The worker bee is a family favorite of ours. My husband and I visited in 2019 on vacation and found this stop, and we have since relocated to the area and visit The Worker Bee at least once per month. The owners are so incredibly sweet and accommodating. The food is delicious. We've never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend you give this spot a try“
“Amazing food!!!!!! I ordered the vegan burrito (sweetheart burrito I think?) and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. Also, go on Thursdays (trivia night). It's super fun!!! Super cute interior also. I just really loved this place :)“
“Pastrami is in the name of the restaurant so I am getting pastrami. My Pastrami & Cheese sandwich was good. It comes with pastrami, two cheese, tomatoes and onions on sourdough. It wouldn't have hurt my feelings if there was a tad more pastrami but the flavor was there. It is a nice sandwich. The Italian (salami, ham, and provolone) and the Turkey and Provolone were also very nice sandwiches. Everything was super fresh.Special note: the side of potato salad (ordered separately) was excellent. If you like potato salad, give this a try.Good sandwiches!“
“Do not miss their tasting menu. Wow. Our faves this visit included ahi crudo, short ribs, molten chocolate and a perfect creme brule'. Helpful and friendly staff. Creative wine cocktails. We will be back soon for the lamb trio.Vegetarian options: Salad and interesting veggie crepe were delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor plenty of space.“
“We sat outside in the patio, and we all really enjoyed our lunch. The server was amazing, very nice, and attentive. We all had different items, and everything was tasty. Definitely visit. Small place parking on the street. But it is worth a visit if you are looking for breakfast or lunch.“
“I’ve been coming to Padaro Beach Grill for the past 10 years, but it had been a year or so since I last visited. The food is still delicious and the staff is great, but I was disappointed to see there’s no longer beach views. The hedge is too high to see the ocean or even hear it so you just feel like you’re in a backyard next to a freeway. Really wish they would trim a good foot or two off that overgrown hedge.“
“Fun and lively restaurant with killer west coast Cajun cuisine. I was lucky enough to be in while Louisiana coastal red snapper was available… blackened to perfection and oh so buttery. Everyone else at the table was pleased with their meals. The full restaurant rendition of What a Wonderful World was charming followed with a cheers from the staff. The magician was fun too!“
“Booking our wedding at Rincon Beach Club was the BEST decision we ever made!! Our wedding day was better than we imagined. It truly felt magical! We were able to enjoy our special day and feel present with our guests (which is unheard of according to our friends and family), and that's because the staff at RBC are exceptional! We had the pleasure of working with Courtney, who made the whole process super easy for us. She's professional, very knowledgeable and always answered our many questions with a smile. She coordinated with all our vendors and made sure our vision come to life! We can't thank you enough Courtney!! RBC has the BEST food! We, and our guests, are still talking about the food from our wedding (almost a month later!). RBC has amazing food, amazing staff, just an amazing venue overall!! We LOVE RBC and highly recommend it to all future brides and grooms. 10/10“
“One of my favorite restaurants in the area! Super friendly menu for those of us avoiding gluten! Tons of options, and everything is super fresh, seasonal and prepared with exquisite care!On this trip, I had the gluten-free Chicken Milanese and it was divine! Two huge cutlets served with lightly dressed arugula and blistered tomatoes! My partner (not gluten sensitive) got to indulge in the seven hour lamb Bolognese! I tasted the sauce and it was magic but when I asked the waiter if they had a gluten-free pasta option, he said unfortunately not. Too bad that this dish can’t be made to accommodate us gluten sensitive customers… As I would be sure to order this in the future but for now I have to pass. But if you are not gluten, sensitive, my partner, highly recommends ordering this!We also started our meal with a beautiful beet salad… The waiter asked if we’d like the chef to prepare the salad on two separate plates, making it easier to enjoy and thought, how wonderful so we said sure! But when the check arrived, there was a $5.00 surcharge for that. Not complaining here, but just want you to be prepared in case it’s not something you would find of value for you and your dining partner.Oh, and be sure to save room for the apple fritters on their dessert menu. Yes, these are gluten-free!! These are some of the best apple fritters I’ve ever had and I’ve had everything from gluten filled to gluten-free and these, by far, are the best!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!“
“So it's a pretty touristy experience. Brunch in the sun under an umbrella just off the beach? Check. Great food with little appetizer bonus? Check. (Blueberry muffin basket) People jogging by and a blonde waitress named Brooke with slight vocal fry? Check. But after driving up from LA all morning, that was what we wanted. In all seriousness, it was a great experience with unobtrusive gluten-free options. Will stop here again next time we are traveling through. Ymmv for locals, but the parking lot is almost empty and it's full, so people are walking here.Dietary restrictions: Had plenty of gluten-free options but didn't make a big deal on that.Parking: Street parking was bad but there was a little lot next time it.“
“First time at Finney’s. Got there around 8 pm on a Friday in the off season and the place was full. Had a nice vibe. Six of us sat at the beer for dinner. Had two of their craft beers - a pale ale and a west coast IPA. Both were very well made. I had blackened Ahi tuna on a broc roll with a wasabi aoli/relish. The tuna was done perfectly. Finney’s is worth a try.“
“We are staying at Best Western, which is across the street from Clementines. We got in late and wanted something convenient for dinner. We were not expecting much given the location. It took us less than 5 minutes to walked over. We were greeted by a warm, cozy dining area. This family owned restaurant serves up a delicious set meal. Entrees come with freshly baked bread, salad, soup and dessert. Bread and split pea soup were made there, and it was so delicious. The soup was flavorful and creamy. Bread was served warm and moist. The salad was fresh and refreshing. We split a NY steak, and it was nicely seasoned and cooked to our specifications. Everything was just delicious. Even the potatoes on the side were so good. We asked for the recipe, and the waitress told us it was a family secret! Well, this spot is a gem, and if your in the area, give it a try!“
“I had the sesame crusted salmon with wasabi sauce and rice noodles. It is so good, I get it every time! My husband had the meatloaf with sautéed mushrooms and our friend had the filet mignon cooked perfectly. He said the veggies were very good also. For dessert, we had the Louis Bananas Foster and the Key Lime Pie. Both very good!“
“Loved it here, quaint beachside Cafe. Stopped here on our way to Paso Robles, because Katie Perry said they had the best margaritas. They are very good. We started with the fried Calamari and some clam chowder and then had fish and delicious shrimp tacos.“
“I lived three years in Carp and for some reason I never thought about going to Zookers. I think the name threw me off even though people would tell me I should go there. Finally after driving through Carp on my daily commute, my son and I decided we should give it a try. He really wanted the fried chicken sandwich however that item was not available on the dinner menu so he went for the burger instead and I had a tofu dish. We got some bread too. Let me tell you we were shocked how good everything tasted! The food was incredible - every bite a delight. His pup style burger cooked and seasoned to perfection. ( mind you my son is a burger snob) - and the potatoes crispy and super tasty. My tofu waiter dish was also really good. Pretty much every bite including the bread basket was amazing. We really wanted to try the dessert and the staff was so nice to split it for us since we were too full for the whole portion alone. The presentation was spot on too. Even though it's in a mini mall once you enter this culinary oasis you immediately forget that the sketchy albertson parking lot. The next day we decided to order the fried chicken sandwiches to go. And let me tell you they did not disappoint either , probably the best fried chicken I had in a long time. We could not wait to eat them at home so we started to nibble on them outside Starbucks and had many people approach us where we got these incredible tasty looking sandwiches. I still can't believe we have not gone there sooner and most reviewers on here seem to agree with me that this is the best restaurant in carp if not Santa Barbara. It had a very inviting feeling to it, a place where many people seem to return for a meal and beautiful local artwork on the wall for sale. We will be coming back for sure!“
“Parking is hard to get, construction doesn’t help finding this location but it is worth it although pricey. The only negative thing I have for this place is the water. It tastes like it’s coming straight out of the hose from outside. Not even tap water. Aside from that, the food and latte coffee were delicious! The special, chicken chilaquiles were surprisingly good! Spicy but tasted good! The single pancakes also great! The Madagascar vanilla latte perfect thanks to the server/cashier who made sure he made it perfect after seeing I was craving one! The straws are cheaply made.“
“This place was the only restaurant open in downtown SB after 10 and thank god for that. My roommate and i were tired after watching a show and needed something to eat and we absolutely fell in love with the spicy chicken sandwich they had here! It was was juicy, the perfect crunch, and soooo fresh, The fries were also insanely good and the overall vibe of the place was so nice. It is on the more expensive side but that’s just what happens in downtown sb“
“Excellent Funk Zone Burger! You can tell that quality ingredients are used as one would expect from this well-known Santa Barbara family. Burger was cooked perfectly with tasty cheddar, served on a toasted brioche bun . Also had fries and a beer. Nice relaxed place to get a burger. I’ve purchased (excellent) meat from their butcher shop, this was my first time eating at the restaurant in this location. I’ll definitely return.Support small business, shop local!“
“I sent an email for the afternoon tea a week before the event. I didn’t get a reply so I called. I was told sorry we are sold out , when I told her I had sent an email she honored the reservation and I went with my granddaughter and was sat by a closed door kinda weird but they were nice. The food was average the scones were not tasty , hard, cold … the sandwiches average anyway , it wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible“
“Luxurious waterfront bar at the illustrious Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California. Come for the sunset and stay for the refreshing cocktails and appetizers. My smoked old fashion was perfection and the seasoned tuna tostada was memorable.“
“The best burger we have ever had, the salad was so amazing and even the mango iced tea was original and the perfect amount of sweetness. The outdoor seating was very nice and the service was attentive. We will be making this place our pit stop whenever we are passing through.“
“Came here for brunch while in town for a wedding, and everything was delightful. We chose to share the hangover and the salmon Benedict and while both were delicious, the same, and Benedict was the unanimous winner. Our server Riley was so friendly and attentive. We will be back!“
“2nd time here this round was a breakfast santa barbara scramble was the option today... the fruit and english muffin was great the egg scramble part was missing something I just can't put my finger on it.. overall, of course I'll be “
“Fantastic Breakfast Burritos and Baja Fish Tacos!!!Breakfast Burrito: Eggs, Tater Tots, Sausage or Bacon, Cheese. Grab some Cholula packets and hit the water! Walk the breakwater or around the harbor.Baja Fish Tacos amongst the best in Santa Barbara. Very well done, Tie breakers: pickled cabbage, queso fresco! delish.Bring your dog too!“
“Literally the best sandwich shop ever. The service was absolutely top notch. Sam was so nice to our kids! Ingredients were fresh and so good. Plus, didn’t have to pay extra for avocado which is always incredible.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodation to my kids!“
“One of my favorite places to eat in Santa Barbara. The food is always good. I have had salads, appetizers, and sandwiches and each have been wonderful. This time I had the blackened salmon sandwich with a side salad instead of fries. There was a nice, large, well seasoned piece of salmon in the sandwich. The sauce on the salmon was perfect, not overpowering. Delicious! We went on St. Patrick's Day weekend and were treated to an Irish dance group performance. Very fun!Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids' menu of penne and Parmesan, a burger, or a hot dog.“
“Really enjoyed a quick lunch with my friend here- friendly service, great food and relaxing atmosphere!Their brioche bun is always amazing & My usual favorite is the California club. I decided to try the bacon and egg burger for the first time and loved it- The fries were also super fresh!“
“We went to try the burger special, Paddy Daddy. The burger itself was good, but the corned beef on it was pretty tough & chewy. Loved the slaw & homemade pickles were awesome. Buffalo cauliflower was also very good. Loved the quirkiness of the decor & the mismatch of S&P shakers. Definitely will come again to try the pizza & other menu items.“
“Nichole at The Revere room is such a gem! The first time I met her she was the server for our menu tasting for our wedding. She did such a lovely job and was so wonderful to be around. She made the experience that much better. We came back a few weeks later for brunch and she was our server again! We were so excited to see her. We love dining here and the food is always so good, but the great service really makes it!“
“Service with a smile and good food to boot. It was relatively quiet I came in at around 10 am. Their smile comes across as genuinely happy for you to be there. I got a basic 2 sausage, egg, pancake order and the sausage was genuinely bursting with flavor eggs were yummy and pancakes were solid. In the middle of my breakfast a patron was leaving and the owners says see you tomorrow thank you. And I completely understand why someone would have such loyal customers. I highly recommend you come sit down and eat here if you can“

“Lovely dinner with friends. Greeted by the charming host and seated right away. Calamari's), oak bakery bread (little pricy) and fried green tomatoes (delicious). Steaks were tasty as was the sea bass. We had brought two bottles of wine but host told us they comp the corkage one one if we buy a bottle so we ordered a delicious S. African Sauvignon Blanc! It was lively and full but we could still hear each other and our server Leona was excellent and personable.“
“The first time here and definitely not the last. The wait staff were fantastic. Thank you Hudson for looking after us.The calamari were cooked to perfection. Slices of calamari steak not rings like most places. The Ahi Pokie stack was really good with a corn and pineapple base. The view was the topping. Watching the dolphins swim by was simply stunning. All finished off with hot towels for our hands.I will be back soon.“
“Exceptional service. A true historical landmark in downtown Santa Barbara. The menu says stiffest drinks in town. No joke. I personally recommend the rib eye medium rare. Done old school low and slow with salt and pepper crust and that's it. Why mess up a good thing? Get a huge slab with some taters and veggies it comes with au jus and have a double scotch. Probably the best slab of red meat on State St. Can get busy good idea to call at peak times.Vegetarian options: Great Salad selection and plenty of vegetable dishes. They're happy to customize.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entrance and flat. Very accommodating staff.“
“I really like this bar tucked inside the rosewood Miramar hotel. The vibe is dark, intimate and expensive. I love the live music and the cocktails are great! Service is always prompt and friendly. Great place for a date or come alone and mingle. There's always something to look at here!“
“A very quaint little period restaurant with inviting decor and very attentive staff. Though it's off the 101 it was tricky getting to when driving north. Probably due to freeway construction. But totally worth the circuitous route. Food was good and the atmosphere was perfect for a beachy breakfast.“
