“(May 2024) I got takeout Meat Ravioli with Marinara sauce as well as take-home meat lasagna for a future meal. I liked the ravioli. I thought most of the lasagna was good but I didn't like the bell pepper in there! First time getting a lasagna with bell pepper in it.
The bread was pretty good“

“Ordered a medium butter chicken pizza. A lot of texture and spices. It is one chili (mild) so it was perfect for our taste buds. The bread is the best part, flavor is excellent. Service is nice and efficient. Probably try garlic bread next time or other flavor variations.“

“Celebrating my husband's 65th Birthday. Took a excursion today to cool off out of the valley heat and searched out an authentic Italian meal. I ordered the Linguini and fresh Clams with roasted peppers and light cream sauce. The results were delicious with excellent flavor and presentation. Hubby needed his Cavatelli with red gravy as a side dish since he hasn't found anything like this in our area. He also ordered Lasagna as the main course and we were surprised to see a very large portion! The bread, and I am not a bread eater, was heavenly. Hubby claims good Italian bread is like eating cake and I couldn't agree more with him more. I am now a convert! The pasta is homemade, the red gravy is delicious. We will be returning. Thank you for being here for all of us Italian food lovers ❤️“

“I'm a big foodie when I saw the place on line I was dying of hunger. I didn't even want to see the menu I got all recommendations from the young server and Miha. The food is delicios flavourful. The salad was crisp and fresh delicious savory wines!!“

Brooklyn turned our Tuesday after work dinner into a time to recharge and refuel for the week ahead. From the candid wine feedback and hearty antipasto suggestions, to the camaraderie and balance of engagement and space, we left Il Fornaio with full bellies and hearts. Thank you Sylvio and Brooklyn. “The calamari and sauce is wonderful.
Carbonara is very tasty as well the sauce is rich.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken w artichoke but everything was well cooked.
Nice service.
The dining area can get a bit loud when it fills up but eh ?‍♂️“

“Delicious! First time there and had a meal on the outside towards the back of restaurant. Had a few different appetizers but I'd say go with the calamari as it's lightly breaded yet had the crunch and the squid soft and easy to eat. Great wine selection. For my main meal was the Filet Mignon dinner special. It was supposed to come with veggies and the meat in truffle sauce. Everything in my order was correct except the sauce on the filet mignon didn't taste nor look like truffle sauce but it looked and tasted more like a balsamic vinegar glaze. It was unique, as it had a vinegar flavor profile which was ok, though I really wanted more of a meaty taste. Dessert was great, had a pistachio cake that was mild in sweetness and more of the nutty flavor. Overall, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me even with the little hiccup.

Parking: When you get to "Little Italy" one side has free parking but that gets full quickly, and the other side has parking meters that was active until 10PM (Yup, the meters are from 9am to 10pm in Little Italy, the rest of San Jose the meters stop operations at 6pm) which of course the parking space on the meters are available during the late afternoons but these spaces are full by 7/8pm.“

“Eat outside if you can -- we were seated in the back, where things were a little claustrophobic. The service was good but not great, but heads-up: you are going to be paying a 20% tip whether you want to or not, no matter the quality of your waiter!“

“Had a lovely dinner at this beautiful Italian restaurant. We went on a rainy evening and we're seated inside. We had the tomato mozzarella, which wasn't very fresh for me. The eggplant appetizer was yum with ricotta cheese slices.
I had the shrimp scampi special which was a bit lemony. Husband has the chicken marsala which was delicious with a glass of red.
It was a nice place, good service and next time I would probably do an afternoon visit as I would love to set in their beautiful patio area.“

“We are visiting from Ohio and had not been to A Bellagio in 10 years. Our experience was fantastic! The atmosphere has been enhanced with the remodeling that has been done. The ambience was lovely. Our server did a great job of making sure we were comfortable at all times and that we had everything we needed. The food was fabulous. We started with the Caesar salad. My husband chose the veal as his entree and I had the filet. Each one was prepared perfectly and the accompanying vegetables cooked to perfection. We each decided to choose the Tiramisu for dessert. The servings were so large that we could have shared one portion. We highly recommend A Bellagio!“

“Classic Stanford spot, I’ve been going here for a long time. I think it is only open for breakfast and lunch, but I’ve only gone for lunch. The food is good, with a variety of offerings; I get the sandwiches/paninis. The best part is the sitting outside, where they offer umbrellas. The service is super friendly. There is a lot of parking too which is great!

“Woah! I’ve lived in San Jose a long time. How did I not know about Torino Panino? I’d never even heard of, let alone eaten an Italian beef sandwich before! But I really enjoyed it!

There were so many choices and I had zero context so I tried the Chicago Way because it was smack dab in the middle of the menu sign. I like French dip so I got it wet; figured it was similar. Delicious sandwich. Really it the spot.

We also purchased sardines from their little pantry of canned and jarred goodies. We enjoyed those later at home.

I love the little courtyard seating area in the back. They had a tv playing one of the football games (it was Sunday). Just a really nice atmosphere. Looking forward to enjoying it all again.“

“Had a team dinner here and they were able to accommodate a same day reservation for a group of 9 people. We weren’t able to get a table inside since they had another big party but the weather was so nice out that we all enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We ordered a few apps to share. My favorite was the calamari. Their focaccia bread was soft and delicious. I got the chicken parm which was pretty mediocre but coworker seemed to enjoy their pasta dishes.“

“Today was my second (2), visit to Locanda Sorento, Campbell for lunch. Both experiences were terrific! We were welcomed at the door seated in areas that were very comfortable, the first visit we sat in the back room and today by the front door. Service was extraordinary on both visits. Sadly I cannot recall the young woman’s name from Italy that served us on the first visit but Marco served us today. Both were excellent. I requested a bit of modification on the salmon I ordered and was accommodated without hesitation. This is on the road to being my fav Italian restaurant. The environment is bright and cheerful, the staff all seem to work together happily, food and service excellent! Thank you Locanda Sorento folks for two wonderful luncheon experiences. “In truth, I recommend Jessica --the front desk-- who makes sure that I receive extra marinara as well as extra sauce Anglaise... for takeout. Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“
