“Located in a vibrant neighborhood, Oyster Dive Bar offers a delightful dining experience with a unique twist on seafood classics. The crispy Cajun fries with cheese are a standout appetizer, perfectly seasoned and crunchy, making them an irresistible starter. The lobster pasta features fresh lobster, expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, ideal for both casual outings and intimate dinners. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. Prices are reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. However, it's worth noting that the restroom could use more attention; cleanliness was a bit lacking during my visit. Despite this minor drawback, the delicious food and pleasant surroundings make Oyster Dive Bar a recommended choice for seafood enthusiasts looking to enjoy a satisfying meal in a relaxed setting. Overall, Oyster Dive Bar earns four stars for its tasty dishes, friendly service, and comfortable ambiance. With a few improvements in cleanliness, it could easily become a five-star dining destination.”

“This boba place in Temple City has a nice touch too it. The interior design is pretty cool. The drink menu is pretty long so there's lots of options to choose from. You can get a reusable glass bottle for around a dollar extra which I did get. I ordered the regular milk tea with boba. The drink was okay but better than other places I've had. I would say the atmosphere of this place is nice because it can be used as a study spot since last time I went it was pretty quiet and they had seating. The service was pretty quick as well. Overall, great experience.”

“I love this restaurant so much! It’s never as full as I think it should be; maybe people are intimidated by the DIY element? (It’s a build-your-own malatang / mala dry pot kind of spot.) The flavors are authentic and spicy (but you can dial down the spice if that’s not your thing.) there’s also a cash discount if you pay with cash.
Parking: There is street parking in the neighborhood as well as a dedicated lot behind the restaurant (free).”

“Great food. The BLT, mango raspberry, fruit cocktail, and brulee are incredible.
Parking: Lots of spots in the free underground parking garage, but can fill fast during busy times. Be wary of bad drivers on their phones.”

“We ordered Taiwanese fried rice noodles, green onion and sesame flatbread, Hakka stir-fry, Shacha beef water spinach and dried lentils.
Hakka stir-fry, it is really fried with dried squid, which is something very few restaurants do. But why stir-fry satay sauce? At first I thought it was dried shredded pork until I tasted dried squid. The dried tofu is cut so well!
Taiwanese fried rice noodles, fried very well, there is no sauce at the bottom of the plate, amazing! ? The rice noodles are very elastic and delicious!
The dry lentils were just average.
I will eat it next time and will continue to order Taiwanese fried rice noodles, Hakka stir-fried rice noodles and other dishes.”

“Read about this in such raving reviews inevitably I swung by and see it for myself. We got there at lunch time near 1p but the place closes at 2p. The first impression was that this is an absolute minimalists' dream. No menu, no decor, no utensils, no price on the wall, no sticker, no label on pre packed food. What you see is what you’d get. Plain plain furniture that Ikea should be impressed. The only menu was above the cashier, and they have the item but literally priceless. I scanned the immediate crowd of a few and thought I probably should be able to afford this place if they could… With that little bit of courage, we pointed and ordered from the board above. The house stew noodle. Looking at the display case, we spotted something weird and we ordered it because it's been a while. We got some marinated baby squids in a plastic tub. Again, priceless. Sat at the barron table equipped with disposable chopsticks we ate. The squid was good. No complaints about that but it’s an entirely acquired taste so you should think before getting it. Then the noodles arrived after a long few minutes. It has the expected fragrance of many spices combined. Presentation was good. Then do learn from my mistake, DO NOT SLURP. The spicy oil will intrude into places least suspected and cause embarrassment if not disaster toward whoever is sitting across. The hot spicy soup tasted as if I had sniffed it. It had depth, not just looking dark and floating a few bits of what would say spice. With that said, getting past not slurping took a few tries as typically noodles go down with a big slurp a la japanese ramen. Avoid such practice here. The meat was surprisingly not dry as I would say having prep the soup with depth typically killed the meat. Probably the soup and the meat met after preparation and not from the start. The noodle was with the right amount of dough density and springlyness. I don't think they made it from scratch but they know how long to cook it and keep from soaking it too long in soup or water. Everything was good. The bill showed up and it was cash only. Surprise! I don’t know why this place could have rated $10 up, the noodle was $20. The squid was $10. The tea was free but hope you like styrofoam cup. The tire company paper- Firestone or something, was on the wall. Strictly for the food. Service was ok. We needed minimal attention in such a setting because it was set up to show it won’t be any.”

“Didn't know they had more than one restaurant in the L.A. area. This is the second one we tried and it didn't disappoint, it was just as good as the first time and second times we visited the Koreatown location. The service, the food, everything is great.”

“The cashier was very friendly and helpful. They still do the traditional mango cakes here. Many other Asian bakeries in the area no longer do their Mango cakes with actual fruit layered all over the top/outside--they just use mostly mango cream or mousse. This place also has breads, pastries, and a small frozen area with veggie baos and more.”

As a frequent patron, it has become my go-to destination whenever cravings for authentic Cantonese flavors arise. One of the highlights of Phoenix Restaurant is their traditional approach to crafting dishes, exemplified by their exquisite red bean paste soup. Cooked using the time-honored method with dried orange peel and lotus seeds, this dessert embodies nostalgia with every spoonful. “I ordered the H6 soup and H1 kimchi pan fried dumplings. Lets start with the soup…have ya’ll ever seen the anime Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma?? Yea, eating here is like that. This soup was so good it blew my socks off. Holy. Moly. Its spicy but it burns sooo good. The broth is rich, thick, layered. The noodles are hand made (according to my waitress). And the premium meat is just perfect. I just found my new spot to eat after work on a cold winter day. One spoonful of this soup will send your taste buds reeling. As you can tell, i really liked it. Spectacular. Give me fourteen of them more.
The kimchi dumplings were really good too. Lol. Oh and they give you hot tea when you sit down. Classic.
P.s. sorry for the half eaten soup pic. It was so good i had to write the review before i finished it.”

“1st time trying the place. I ordered 1 carne asda taco and a Super Veggie burrito. The carne asada taco was absolutely DELICIOUS! The meat was well done just the way I like it and they have the freshest and best Veggie burrito I ever enjoyed! It was massive, but I still devoured it because I never leave food unfinished. Suffice to say I will return to try out their Birria. The salsa roja and Verde were great too. 100% would recommend! The gentleman taking my order was very kind and very honest too! I asked about the flan and he told me the truth behind it lol, I respect that a lot.”

“This cafe makes the go to cafe to experience Hong Kong style food. The spam egg sandwich is delicious, most impressive with the softness of bread. The macaroni looks soft but it is also springy . “A new store has opened here! Now it’s Cantonese food + Malatang. The rice rolls look great and taste good. The addition of chopped peanuts is interesting and the portion is not small, but the soy sauce is not very interesting. The spicy hotpot is super delicious, the soup base is very fragrant, and the ingredients are very tasty. I recommend that it be a little spicy.”

“I came here especially for the name, the dishes are especially delicious, six-star delicious. Like many Chinese restaurants, the dining environment is a bit noisy, and the waiters are friendly but busy. Parking is tight. It is said that the desserts provided before are very delicious, but it is a pity that there are no more. Recommend amber shrimp, fish balls and watercress.”
