“Liholiho is a fantastic restaurant! The space is modern and beautifully designed, with an open kitchen where you can watch everything being prepared, which adds a lot of energy and transparency to the dining experience.

The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. The cocktails were excellent, and even the non-alcoholic one I ordered was made with care and tasted great.

The food was outstanding. The bun with beef tongue was extraordinary, the tuna tartare and ceviche were perfectly balanced and fresh, and the shrimps with crispy rice were especially memorable. All dishes showed creativity, originality, and were prepared with high quality ingredients.

For three people, including first and main courses, drinks, and one dessert, the bill came to $260, which I found fair for this level of quality. The only minus point is that the restaurant does not offer coffee, which would have been a nice way to finish the meal.

Overall, I really enjoyed everything at Liholiho. Highly recommended, and I hope I will get to return again!“

Aside from that, the evening was full of good food, good service, and libations. Don't miss the fried anchovies, batarga potato salad, chips & dip, crudo, and clams!“

Quick, friendly service, delicious snacks on the HH menu (oysters, mussels, and baby fried shrimp sandos). Got some bread and butter to dip the bread in the mussel broth. “Little Shucker is a charming seafood spot with a cozy, comfortable vibe. The baked oysters and the whole roasted fish are absolute must-orders—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The sauce is on the side and I’d say keep it that way. The Big Shucker platter was both impressive in presentation and fun to share, making it a highlight of the meal. The crab cake, however, was the least memorable dish for me.“

“Really sumptuous lobster roll. The butter flavoured brioche was loaded with a generous amount of fresh lobster meat. It was not overly seasoned which allowed the original lobster savouriness to shine through. The price doesn't come cheap but it's still worth it given the large portion and quality of the lobster. It was definitely the best lobster roll I have ever had.“

Get there early because the seating is very limited and waitlist can be long, but well worth the wait! “The oysters were fresh and sweet, and the Caesar salad was excellent — I especially loved the sardines and crunchy croutons. The cioppino was flavorful with generous seafood, though it only came with one small slice of crostini, which wasn’t quite enough to soak up the broth. Unfortunately, the linguine with clams was disappointing — the sauce was watery, bland, and lacked any garlic flavor. The brownie sundae was decent, nothing to rave about but a nice finish.

Service was just okay. Our server seemed a bit inexperienced — two entrées came out first, and we had to wait about five minutes for the third. The table wasn’t wiped down before dessert, and even after I asked for extra napkins (which I needed for the crab in the cioppino), they never came. Overall, some dishes shined, but the inconsistencies in food and service made the experience feel uneven.“

I had a seat at the bar and was so kindly welcomed by Alexis(I hope I spelled his name right.)It was Saturday night. He made a fabulous Old fashioned. I had the beet salad which was delicious, a perfect filet mignon, delicious red wine and he forced😀me to try the chocolate mousse. He was amazing to watch as he worked so hard. He needs a bonus. Always smiling. The atmosphere was perfect. Sometimes going alone is just what you need. Had some good conversations with folks next to me. Thank you! I shall return. “Our party of 4 pre-ordered a whole Peking duck. It did not disappoint. It was moist and tender. Not greasy as some I have had. It is served with crepes instead of the usual buns. We ate every piece! The miso sea bass was so moist and buttery! We totally agreed it was the best we've ever had! The garlic pea sprouts were cooked just right. For dessert we had the almond jello bunnies. So cute! Could have had more almond flavor but we all finished it anyways! Our server was pleasant and fun. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. Wish I could remember her name. Would definitely eat here again! Note: they have an 8% surcharge for employee whatever. Typical of SF restaurants.“

“Not a ton of aguachile spots in SF that I know of so Waterfall does satisfy the craving, although I think spots in Oakland are much better. I was a bit disappointed at how the slow the service was and they forgot parts of our orders. The food itself was alright but I felt the shrimp wasn’t as good quality or as big as other places I’ve had. The aguachile was more heavy on the veggie front too. Restaurant itself was cute, in a good location and had good vibes, but might stick to Oakland to satisfy that craving in the future.“
