“I’m so happy discovering this super yummy Thai restaurant. They decorate the dishes so beautifully with fresh flowers. They also make their food fresh with no MSG.Highlights of the menu:1. Thai tea sunset2. Chaiyo chicken - specialty dish3. Thai fish cake4. Coconut shrimp5. Grilled shrimp salad6. Tom yum - lemongrass and lime broth7. Pad see ew - sweet black bean and large rice noodles8. Roasted duck in red curryAmazing service, super quick and friendly.“
“This place is awesome if you have a hankering for Thai food in the Pasadena area. The place is small with outside seating but the food is incredibly delicious and most of all the prices are very reasonable....The service was quick, the servers were friendly and provide you with menu recommendations. I recommend the green sole fish curry and the pork with sticky rice and the vegetable egg rolls! Thank you Nine & Nine!“
“This place deserves a better over all rating. Yes there is a wait on the weekends but once you are in the service is exceptional, super fast, good prices and amazing. Jay was our server and he was amazing. Def my favorite Japanese spot in Tustin and surrounding areas“
“As always great selection of ramen. And the vegan broth is a lifesaver for vegetarians who want to enjoy Ramen. The service is great. Kudos to Elise for being super helpful and polite. Our regular spot for Ramen.Vegetarian options: Broth is vegan and there are vegetarian appetizer options.Parking: There are two parking lots at a walking distance from the restaurant.“
“Absolutely delicious traditional Japanese food. My lawyer found this spot while looking around Google earth and thought we should give it a try. The food here is the closest to Japanese quality I've found in socal. Soba was top notch and so was the udon. The combination was well worth it and we found the staff to be excellent and helpful.“
“Didn't have to wait for a table on a Friday night for a party of two. I think if you're a larger party, you may have to wait. Got cha gio, pho tai chin, and a cafe sua da. The cha gio and cafe sua da was nothing special. Not the best I've had, but not bad at all. The star of the show was the broth of the pho. It was very tasty, with no overpowering notes from a singular spice. All the ingredients from the beef in the pho tai, to the vegetables served with the cha gio were very fresh.“
“Check In: Make sure you check in on Yelp for 1 free Herbal Iced Tea!Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult on the weekends. I visited on a Sunday and was not able to find any parking near the restaurant. But I was able to find a spot near the Old Spaghetti Factory. There’s a lot of restricted time zones, specific parking, and metered parking.Environment/Ambiance: It was very nostalgic for me when I walked in because the ambiance gave off Vietnamese vibes. The marble tables, wooden chairs, vases, utensils, and plates were imported from Vietnam. I recognized the vases bc my grandma had the same ones lol! They also have an open kitchen concept. I love their modern take on traditional Vietnamese dishes.Service: Everyone was amazing. Shout out to our server Ben! Constantly checked up on us and ensured we were enjoying our dinner. They even have robot service! The robot only brought us the sides that came with the pho we ordered.Food & drinks:1) Pho Tai Filet Mignon, carpaccio-style - This was my first time trying pho carpaccio-styled, and it was sooo delicious! Such a great concept. For those who don’t know what carpaccio style is - it is thinly sliced rare beef, drizzled with oil and lemon or lime. I was advised to squeeze the lime first and spray some 40° nuoc mam for extra flavor. Then take some meat and dip it into the pho broth. The meat wasn’t too chewy! I’m used to eating cooked meat with pho, but I absolutely looove this style better! 10/102) Pho Xe Lua - I was told this was one of their most popular pho bowls. They were very generous with the meats. I didn’t even need to add any sauces to the broth bc it tasted amazing the way it was. I could definitely tell their broth was brewed for at least 48 hours; it very smooth and no MSG. My favorite part was the short rib! It easily came off the bone and full of flavor. They offer unlimited noodles, so of course I took advantage! 10/103) Fish Sauce Fries - I started off with the Fish Sauce Fries as appetizers. It came with a “female” and “male” 40° nuoc mam perfume bottle. Such a fun idea! The fries were already tossed in fish sauce, but if you want more flavor, a couple spritz of the “perfume” will do. They also gave a generous amount of fries for an appetizer. 10/104) Herbal Iced Tea - So refreshing! After eating two steaming bowls of pho and nuoc mam fries, this drink really helped refresh everything. It came in a cute cup, topped with floral. 9/105) Vietnamese Coffee - I’m a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I had to try their Vietnamese coffee. This is the definition of Vietnamese coffee: extra ice, thick, concentrated, and not overwhelmingly sweet. It also came in a unique cup. 10/10Pricing: Prices are $$$. Not as surprised since prices have gone up literally everywhere. I’d say it’s worth it because they are very generous with their portions.Parking: Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult on the weekends. I visited on a Sunday and was not able to find any parking near the restaurant. But I was able to find a spot near the Old Spaghetti Factory. There’s a lot of restricted time zones, specific parking, and metered parking.“
“In general, we had an enjoyable meal at the Pho Nic. The fragrant rice and delicate chicken in the Hainanese chicken rice made for a delightful dinner. The spring rolls were tasty but didn't leave any lasting impression. The kids' pho bowl was decently sized and tasted, but overshadowed by their chicken rice meal. The interior was modern and contemporary, and the service was good. Overall, it is a good option for a tasty meal, particularly if you're craving chicken rice in this location.“
“Comfortable dining atmosphere with a great song playlist. The porkchops and stinky tofu dishes are fantastic. Moreover, the garlic sauce is authentically delicious. Ordering in-store had a long wait time, so it's better to order online or phone ahead. Staff is great.“
“It just doesn’t get any better than this. I’m telling you, it’s the best ramen in America. The tonkatsu broth is cooked for 24 hours and you can taste the depth of flavor in every bite. The crispy chicken is a perfect starter. Served fresh and hot and super crispy. Edamame is fantastic as well as the pork buns. They add the tip on the total, So be careful not to double tip the server. (Unless you want to!) Strip mall has free parking, but the entire area is busy, so you may have trouble finding a spot.“
“I really can't say enough about how good Kashiwa Ramen is; I love it so much I've eaten here several times in the last two weeks. This has to be one of the best ramen spots in OC currently. It originally started in Japan and came over to the States. In terms of quality, it definitely seems authentic.I've tried several items on the menu, and every time, it's delicious. I highly recommend dining in, but even if you order to go, or through doordash, it always comes piping hot and high quality.Today, I tried the Tsukumen, which is hard to find at other shops because it is a traditional dipping noodle where you dip it in the soup. I would highly recommend trying their tonkatsu ramen, although they also have other great items like smaller portion chashu rice bowls, which I swear the meat is so soft and tender. The chashu pork comes out great every time. The soft boiled egg is perfection. Both the straight and wavy noodles are wonderful. They also have a swirl broth, which is absolutely delicious; it's a mix of their pork and chicken broth together. They also have green tea, which tastes really crisp and fresh. They also have chicken if you don't eat pork.Overall, I really love Kashiwa and plan to continue frequenting it. The only critique I can give is that I wish the waitresses would check in on the tables at least once or twice every so often. Everyone is so kind and polite and the service is very fast. Dining by myself, i am in and out in under 30 minutes or so.Thank you so much for the wonderful meals, I plan to continue coming here in the future, and I hope more people come too.Vegetarian options: They do have tofu as protein for all ramen, miso ramen, sea kelp ramen, and other various side dishes like egg on rice.I would double-check with the waitresses to make sure the broth is 100% vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: If you do not eat pork, they have chicken as a protein topping as well.Parking: Big parking lot in a busy shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There are probably not a ton of options for kids, but if your kids are more adventurous, im sure they would enjoy it. I believe I've seen kids eating pretty plain ramen, just noodles and broth.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it's accessible to get in, but it is a small store and pretty tight. You may be able to fit your wheel chair at the counter if you ask.“
“My husband and I had the oxtail pho and oxtail fried rice with grilled ribeye on the side and everything was amazingly very tasty. Definitely coming back to try more on the menu. Service was excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking isn't a problem. This place definitely is keeper.“
“I love this restaurant when I am craving vegan food. I always order the Kung Pao Chicken. The food is very fresh and flavorful. I decided to try the soy chicken and vegetables and found it was almost the same as a Kung Pao Chicken, but I did not mind because it tastes so good! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a vegan restaurant.“
“Love this place! Pho is excellent both in flavor and quality. They offer two sizes: small and large and both at a great price. Quality of the meat is good too. The restaurant is very clean, lots of seating and the owners are very kind. HUGE plus that they're open late! My boyfriend and I love that we can come here after he gets out of work and grab some food either to either dine-in or to-go. Highly recommend!!“
“Amazing food, reasonably priced and exceptional customer service! What a great spot to eat while out at Disneyland to visit. The place itself is a cute spot. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area! **shrimp panang curry was our favorite dish!“
“You’ll appreciate this place if you like healthy version of Taiwanese food. My mom in her 70’s and other aunties all enjoyed the lighter flavor and the ingredients. Our favorite was the Blondie porridge with seafood. Instead of rice, they used oatmeal…which is high in dietary fiber and can lower cholesterol level. We also ordered the Asian truffle rice, that was yummy too especially with the Goji berries and kale. I will order even less salt next time. My kids absolutely enjoy the Matcha Azuki bean shake ice. I definitely would return and try other dishes.“
“Got the Tokyo Mazeman regular everything (garlic, etc) and it was AMAZING. Glad they gave rice for the end because I wanted to soak up the leftover sauce and chives. Also, adding their house vinegar really makes the mazeman and cuts into the oils of the sauce - highly recommend. The regular Tokyo version has a small kick, so I also had their draft Asahi to make the experience just right.Vegetarian options: There's a separate section for vegetarian and vegan optionsParking: Parking is easy in the plaza“
“My family visited this restaurant over vacation and had our best meal of the trip here. We met the owner, Nancy, who was so incredibly sweet, was helpful in explaining menu items-- even pointing out that we had ordered two soups and perhaps to take one item off unless we felt we needed more soup after. My boyfriend also really enjoys learning new languages and she gladly taught him mandarin words during dinner :).“
“This is by far the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. They have many types of curries, but my favorite has been the Panang and pineapple curries. Very good place if you love hot comfort food. The portions are big too with lots of perfectly cooked rice on the side. The atmosphere is very upbeat and busy. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Have the option for tofu“
“Amazing and comforting place! I will always recommend this place when eating with friends, family, significant others, etc. Food is delicious, fresh, and good portion sizes for the prices. The complimentary dessert is delicious and warm as well. The staff is also very polite and welcoming. I also appreciate how delicious the food can be to go. Most places have their to go food not as good quality but I can taste the quality the same when dining in and when I bring it home. Give it a try!“
“Delicious ramen! The Chuka Soba was phenomenal. The broth was perfectly balanced. Not too bland, not too rich. The inside is cozy and very chill. We sat at the bar to watch the cooks prepare the ramen.Gyoza was also perfect, the sauce was also quite excellent. Really enjoyed the variety of the music being played as well.“
“This has become our local go-to Thai restaurant and we love recommending it to friends. They are always so welcoming to our family, great place to bring kids. We've never gone with more than 5 people, but they have a couple spots where I think you could do a larger group.Everything we've had has been good. Our go-tos are the beef pad see ew and the roasted duck curry.“
“Stumbled upon this mom and pop sushi shop. When we walked in, it was about 5:30pm and empty so we felt kind of skeptical. The food told us otherwise. The carpaccio we ordered were flavorful and fresh. The sashimi piece were big and thick - fresh too!People started to come in and they had lots of to-go orders!“
“I had the pho with rare beef slices and lean brisket. The noodles were a bit chewy for my liking and the meat was ok. My favorite part about the pho was the broth. I also had the garlic noodles with meat. The noodles tasted delicious but the meat had a weird after taste. Overall, the place was good. Def would recommend the garlic noodles.“
“This is my go to spot for pho just smelling the aromatic broth when they bring your food awakens the senses ( yeah I just wrote that) but really I've gone to probably 9 other places on bolsa in Westminster also 4 other pho restaurants in surrounding cities nothing compares. They have a couple other menu items but the Pho is why you come here, I like to take my son here they're open late until 1:30 a.m., It's always clean and the staff are nice. My personal recommendation is the Pho combination with no meat ball or tripe substitute extra tendons and add a beef rib or the ox tail pho.Lastly, Price is about $20 with a can of coke“
“A&J has been one of my favorite spots for Taiwanese food for the past 7-8 years. I initially came here with my sister all those years ago to get from beef rolls. Over the years, I began taking my friends and they once accused me of "gatekeeping" A&J from them because of how delicious their food is. My personal favorites whenever I come to A&J are the beef rolls, scallion pancakes, and sesame peanut noodles (113 on the menu). The beef rolls are a classic dish with tender beef and green onion wrapped around a crispy scallion pancake. The sesame peanut noodles are great if you enjoy noodles coated in a creamy sauce. My favorite thing to do is to order extra scallion pancakes on the side so that you can dip it in the leftover sesame peanut sauce after you finish your noodles! A&J will always be a staple when it comes to Taiwanese food and I will always find a reason to come back! :)“
“Came here on a whim on Saturday night, so glad it was not crowded and we were seated immediately. They have pictures of plates they serve on tv screens so it's very nice to see what you may be ordering. We ordered egg, filet mignon and meatball on a sizzling plate with baguette and a bo luc lac with garlic noodle and it was delicious! Very affordable prices. Fresh made and not too sweet drinks too, I recommend the penny worth and mung bean drink! Nice Vietnamese traditional restaurant vibes.“
“This place exceeded all expectations! Our waiter was so well informed about menu items and was so helpful in helping us choose wisely. I can’t say enough about it! What an experience for a group of people in town for a meeting! Anytime I’m back in the area I will definitely make this place One of my must stop dining choices! Do not sleep on the chocolate mochi buns for dessert… Absolutely divine!“
“The service was great! I was looking for a sushi spot near by and it was one I wanted to try because of the variety of sushi options! I had the Andy's roll and the Hot Summer Roll. Both were good, not super memorable nor do I feel like running back but they do have a good lunch option if you're looking for something good, quick and affordable! Overall good but not on my top sushi spots. I will end by saying what I did love those was huge the portions were I think for the rolls I got you definitely get a generous amount of protein!“
“We had chow mein, steamed buns, fried rice, green beans, and both steamed and fried dumplings. Everything tasted unique to its own flavor and was delicious ? We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Yum Dumpling and will be returning soon!“
“I love the food and service here. I like the Katsu Curry more than the Shabu Shabu one since it's more savory. The salad with salmon skin is also amazing and it is a good appetizer. I also ordered the Assorted Tempura but I don't really recommend it since it will be a bit too much to eat all the sides and finish your bowl, unless you go as a group because I struggled to finish my bowl after all the tempura filling my stomach and, you know, fried food fill it quick.Overall, probably the best Udon place I ever tried in OC.“
“Stopping by for a late lunch early dinner with my hubby during their happy hour. What a steal from the happy hour deal for dinning in! Our total came out to be around only $32 before tip with 2 bowls of trio shrimp noodle, extra egg topping, braised tofu appetizer and a hot tea. Take out is still regular price though. The bowl size is a very good portion, actually a bit big for me. I could only finished half of it. I had the tossed noodle and hubby got the broth one. Although the tossed noodle has good flavor, I have to say I prefer the broth one better. I can taste the flavors of the shrimp peels being roasted before shimmered into the broth, so much depth and richness. Now I know which one to get next time. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes and bring my boys along as well.“
“Food is good and flavorful, and it was ready in 5 minutes. However I find the portion a bit too small for the price, at least for the house special boat noodle which is about 18 dollars. It had quite a lot of meat but the amount of noodles was quite small and I wasn't able to be full.“
“Love the atmosphere here. The waiters are very efficient and good at customer service. We really enjoy the bánh đa as the broth is very fresh. The miến trộn khô has just enough sauce to make the food delicious and not overly salty. Overall, we’re really satisfied with the food and drinks. We’ll definitely come back!“
“I tried the pork XLB (9 pieces for $9.99) and the chive and pork dumplings (12 pieces for $10.99). The XLB were delicious! The skin was thin, and the pork was so flavorful (maybe a little on the salty side though). There was some juice inside, although I would have loved more juice! The chive and pork dumplings were just ok. It’s a no-frills kind of restaurant“
“This noodle shop offered a decent dining experience. The noodles were flavorful, and the snacks provided a tasty accompaniment. While the food was enjoyable, the overall ambiance and service were average. It's a suitable spot for a quick and satisfying meal, but don't expect anything extraordinary“
“This is a great little place. As soon as you walk you are greeted by a staff member, usually they're come from the kitchen because they seem to constantly be running food out to the tables. They typical Pho Soup w chicken is pretty good, and I would highly recommend the extra spare ribs! They are amazing!. Now back to the soup, like most places, the deep flavor comes from the sauces, bean sprouts, mint and of course jalapeños!.The tables are clean, and the utensils are bountiful with a tin on each table with chopsticks and such. This is a great place.“
“Meat quality is so damn delicious! The Short rib and skirt steak were our faves, we also tried the A5 wagyu and it was melt in your mouth delicious as well. Don't skip on the cartilage and sausage, if you're looking for great pairings to go with your beer. The Yukhae (raw beef dish) was super delicious and I'm not a raw beef person in general. I would definitely order that again though. Get here early, about 15min before they open to avoid the lines. It's a small restaurant with mostly 4-tops , I saw maybe 1 table that could accommodate a party of 8-10 max, so if you have a larger party be prepared to sit separately. The service is great, they were on point with water refills and checking to see if we wanted to order any additional items. They have a weekday special for $67 where you can try 2 of our favorite meats + their miso chicken thigh, and the veggies it comes with are minimal (1pc pumpkin, couple pieces of bell pepper, and a slice of carrot). I heard their yookaejang (spicy beef and vegetable soup) was good but we didn't try it this time. Also, don't sleep on their black sesame and yuzu ice cream!“
“I’ve lived in San Francisco for years. So, I know Pho! And, tbc it takes a ton for myself to feel motivated enough to even consider offering up any kind of review. This place is on par with all the high end Asian cuisine restaurants you can find in the OC. Broth tasty. Meat lean and tender. The server was friendly and consistent. And, with a trendy, up beat atmosphere, that invites you in, too. Chloe took care of me like I was fam as a first timer. I do value great service. And, the cooks (wud up, Matt!!) know how to throw it down. Go here if you’re looking for a satiable dish, and you’ll be happy that you came.Vegetarian options: Superb option.“
“Had about 35 min before class to grab a quick bite to eat and ended here at a warm, Pho restaurant. rainy days call for a delicious bowl of Pho. Staff were extremely friendly and helped me put together a delightful dish!So excited that this place is literally 1 min drive from my school ?Rating: 8.7/10Kid-friendliness: Ask your server about options for the little ones!“
“This is the best noodle shop I have ever eaten. The service is very good. The service is proactive and they gave me discount coupons. I want to share this noodle shop with everyone.I really love the service. By the way, the restaurant had unlimited filling noodles. Amazing service this morning.“
“Stopped by their pop up at my Paramount Apartment and got this awesome little combo for 14$ with a drink. Food is really good, never had Indonesian but I like it. The textures in the noodles are delicious and there's little sides of fermented veggies, crispy garlic, and a spicy little chilli. All the flavors are good and there's a great portion size. I think the noodles have so much flavor I forgot there was yummy bits of chicken. Will visit their in store restaurant next for lumpia!“
“I love this place! I had my birthday lunch here recently because it's my favorite Thai place in Orange County maybe even Southern California. The place is small, you order at the counter and can always expect good food. Honestly it never misses. The food portions are generous, staff is friendly, and miss loving close to this spot.“
“From the moment you step into Soba Izakaya MINAMI, you're not just entering a restaurant; you're embarking on a culinary journey to the heart of Japan. This isn't your run-of-the-mill Japanese eatery; it's a testament to the art of Soba and Yakitori, crafted with passion and precision.Let's talk about the star of the show: the Soba. Handmade from scratch with a level of care that borders on reverence, each bowl is a masterclass in texture and taste. The Curry Soba is a standout dish, a harmonious blend of spice and comfort that warms you from the inside out. It's not just food; it's a warm hug in a bowl. But why stop there? MINAMI's Yakitori selection takes you on a delectable detour off the beaten path. Among the jewels in their crown are the Squid legs - grilled to perfection, offering a smoky, succulent experience that leaves you craving more. It's a bold choice on the menu, and it pays off beautifully, showcasing their knack for elevating traditional dishes with a twist. The ambiance of the place, with its intimate setting and warm lighting, complements the meal perfectly, creating an atmosphere that's both inviting and authentically Japanese. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu add to the experience, making you feel both valued and enlightened. In conclusion, Soba Izakaya MINAMI is more than just a dining destination; it's a culinary treasure that beckons to be explored. For the lovers of Soba, Yakitori, and Japanese cuisine at its most authentic and innovative, this is your haven. As you savor each bite, remember: you're not just eating; you're part of a story - a delicious narrative spun with soba and skewers.“
“The food is fine. The service was not what it had been prior. What rankled was we asked for all the food to be delivered at one time (appetizers and entrees) which they didn't do, and people who came in after us were getting served before us. I'll go back, everyone has a bad day, but two bad days means not good.“
“Alex was amazing, great service small hole in the wall how ever the Quality of the food is better than some huge sushi places. I would definitely be coming here and making this of our main stops after services on Sunday. Thank you Toyo sushi& roll Great place to come have lunch after “
“This is one of my favorite places to stop in Fullerton whenever I’m passing through LA sometimes I will detour out of my way just to stop here.If you’re lucky, you can park on the street but if not, there’s a parking structure across the street with lots of parking. You have to walk down the alley to get to the location which can be kind confusing because sometimes Google maps leads you wrong. When you arrive it’s seat yourself, but sometimes they will help you choose a table if it’s a little bit busier. My favorite dish is the RBK, which is Ramen with the sauce and flavor of dukbokki. The meat is always good and they give you two halved eggs. It’s very spicy and I usually can only eat half which leaves me with leftovers. The soy garlic wings are really good as well as the K-pop tacos. They’re jiggae isn’t something crazy good but it’s still pretty delicious. The only issue I’ve had here is the maybe 10 times I’ve been there is one waitress who doesn’t like to write down any orders and when I went last time, she tried to memorize our order which was only two things and she got them all wrong. I was given Seoul Ramen instead of the Ramen bokki and she added cheese to my already wrong Ramen order when it was supposed to go on the dukbokki dish. They let me keep the Ramen and made my actual order, but it was about another 10 minutes of waiting.Other than that, it’s a great place. You can also order pick up and it’s been very good that way too. I just prefer to eat in if I can.“
“I have been to many Bun Bo Hue restaurants in OC and I must say Hue Kitchen stands out on top for me. For those who look for a bowl of bun bo that resembles home cook then this place is worth a try. The bun bo here is not oily, the meats are flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect softness & bounce to them. I like that the broth isn't spicy and customers can adjust the spiciness on their own through the sate sauce on the table. It's no wonder I see so many families bring their small kids here to eat. Another thing I really like is they cut up the pork hock in slices which makes it so much easier to eat! I know it's traditional to have the pork hock in a big chunk but to me it's a hassle to eat. The service here is always nice. I've never had any problems with the staff.“
“One does not simply order Pho from any regular reataurant. During the chill of the winter months, one's pho must not only be hot enough to warm ones stomach, but the flavor must be equally satiating. Ladies and gentlemen, if you have been tired of subpar pho with equally poor service, I am glad to announce yo you all that your search for the best pho you've ever had is over. Not only is the broth steamy hot, but the specific flavoring this family restaurant utilizes is spectacular. You can tell that it is freshly made and that much effort has been expended to curate the best flavored broth I've EVER HAD. As a pho enjoyer, I can't believe I've never been here before. And if that is not enough, the lovely hostess/waitress, who is also part of the family that owns this business is the kindest and warmest soul I've ever had tend me at a Pho restaurant. The service is prompt, warm, and delivered with care. She's also very humorous and will engage with you in a little small talk!God bless this place. Do yourself a favor and warm yourself up with the most spectacular pho you've ever had.“
“Fantastic restaurant. The Orion beer, the white corn, the peanut tofu, and the carpaccio are the highlights. The takoyaki, sukiyaki, and ramen were also great. Lots of new flavors. Very friendly.Dietary restrictions: Okinawan cuisine focuses on pork.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: It’s a very small restaurant. I wouldn’t bring kids here.“
