“So far the best gyro I’ve had in the Bay Area. Admittedly I wasn’t into gyro or middle eastern food until a trip to NYC where I went to one of the gyro carts and it was phenomenal.From there I’ve been wanting to find one just as good and I have to say this is by far the closest I have had in the Bay Area.The best food here is the gyro, hummus, and falafel. Other meat is good but doesn’t hold a candle to how good the rest are.The portions are huge and I’m a dude that can eat a lot. I always have leftovers.Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the north bay.”

“A friend recommended this place so we order take out via DoorDash this eve. We were not disappointed. I'm British, my American husband lived in Europe for over twenty years so we've had some pretty amazing currys! This was the best indian since we got to the states in 2022. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, mild. Spice level was JUST RIGHT! My husband ordered the Chicken Butter curry, hot. He enjoyed it a lot. We shared the Jeera rice and it had a lovely flavour! The Onion Kulcha had a nice taste. I would have a peshari naan in England but was excited to try a new option and was glad I did. The rice understandably needed re-heating but the rest was piping hot! I will definitely be ordering/eating in at this restaurant again! They just need to offer popadoms and different chutneys! ?”

The coffee was bold and full bodied with good flavor and few hints of bitterness. Tostones were crispy and salted lightly, and not dry - very good. Croquettas were crispy and hot, balanced with good overall flavor and served with house mustard sauce - excellent. Cuban Club Sandwich was filled with sliced ham and turkey, bacon and lettuce on a soft cuban bread which in both flavor and texture resembled a Mexican telera/bolillo bread - very good. Medianoche came with roast pork, ham, pickles, house mustard sauce on a slightly sweet, pressed and buttered roll. This is a must-get item if you're interested in something different.Staff were very friendly and worked quickly, overall we waited for all of our food for less than 10 minutes. The place is a bit drab but does not lack the quaintness or charm of a humble local spot. The prices were fair for the overall quality and flavor of the food ordered. Total price for all items was $59.40**Also ordered but not listed or reviewed was a Guava and cheese turnover, I did not have the opportunity to try it, however it is made in-house and looks good.”

“We literally just walked out of lunch after walking in admittedly for food out of convenience, as we were getting our dog's teeth cleaned a few doors down and needed something to eat. The presence of Ma La Xiang Guo on the menu (and the owner's comment that the chefs are from Sichuan) caught our attention, so we ended up ordering a Beef Xiang Guo. We neglected to specify the spiciness, so it came out pretty spicy--too much for the wife (who isn't very tolerant), satisfying for me (who will gladly sacrifice his intestines in pursuit of spice he will feel every step of its journey through his body). The spice did not overwhelm the rest of the sauce, which had a pleasant, herby flavor to accompany the crunch of the lotus root and woodear. I don't know how authentic it was but I certainly found it delicious. We also ordered their green beans with eggplant. I'm used to this recipe being spicy, but either the Xiang Guo masked the spiciness or it was a very mild variant (suiting my wife just fine). It also had the crunch I expect to accompany the green beans, as well as the garlicky flavor we enjoy with these veggie dishes. Lastly, given the sudden downpour of rain, we ordered the corn and chicken soup, which was exactly the mild we were looking for--the right amount of salt, corn, and chicken in broth--to offset the bold flavors of the Xiang Guo. My wife enjoyed their bubble tea as accompaniment, but unfortunately it's a fixed sweetness, which meant this sugarblood couldn't enjoy one as well. But they're a restaurant, not a boba joint, so that's understandable. They also threw in a dessert which my wife seemed to enjoy, but I can't find the equivalent on the menu offhand. Their portions were generous enough that these three dishes were more than enough for two to eat, and we had to get takeout containers for the return trip. We're not up in Vacaville much, and if it we didn't need to have our dog's teeth cleaned, we probably wouldn't drive the hour and a half it took to get here specifically for this place. However, we will look forward to eating here and further exploring the menu whenever we're in the area.”

It wasn't so much the wait, as how they handled it. The manager was super rude and aggressively told me it was "table math" when I asked why we were told they were preparing our table, and then a group that arrived 30 minutes after us was given the table instead. Other than her bad attitude, everything was great.”

There's a bunch of taquerias around here, but they are just awful. it was a big shock after moving up from the bay area with good food everywhere . California burrito has always satisfied and you get a solid product each time. Love the beet juice availability too. I've had the one on easy monte vista and the one on Peabody, both great. Even the Antioch one was good. Wish they gave chips and salsa with purchase though, that's a lil stingy.”

“Went to a neighbor restaurant (won't say their name here-but a yelp review was given) and had a horrible experience and saw this place on our way out and made a mental note. Decided to try it yesterday. Walked in and was asked if we wanted to sit in the area that had happy hour or in the main dining area. I was shocked to hear happy hour on a Sunday.. We chose to sit in the Happy Hour area-pretty much the bar area which we sat right actions from. Most tables didn't have table linens in that area but I believe the main dining area does (had I known, I probably would have made a different choice). We ordered the calamari off the happy hour menu which also contained prawns as our appetizer. It was ok/nothing to rave about but the prawns were a nice addition. They also serve complimentary bread and butter. For our entrees I ordered the Salmon and hubby ordered pasta. The food came out hot!! Sadly I'm finding this isn't always the case at some restaurants so this was a plus for me. We enjoyed the food. I'm not really a pasta lover but hubby is and he enjoyed his-had good flavor and was definitely a nice portion. My salmon was also tasty!! A little crisp on the top and cooked perfectly in the middle (thankful it wasn't dry). It came with pasta mixed with veggies but I could have just went with veggies and not the pasta as I pretty much didn't eat it. The service was excellent. I can't recall the waitress name but she was very pleasant and attentive. A few cons: 1. presentment of the windows. The first thing you see of an establishment when walking up is the outer appearance. I strongly recommend to have the windows cleaned--it gave me concerns because cleanliness is very important to me and if I were an owner of a restaurant that would be a priority!! 2. They charge an additional feel for using credit/debit. In today's world-most don't carry cash and choose to either use credit/debit or Apple Pay. It irritates me that I hate to be charged to use my own money so keep that in mind and carry cash if you feel the same. I think the charge as $2+.. 3. Too many menus-happy hour menu, drink menu and the regular main course option menu. I don't like touching a lot of things so that always gets to me but I always have hand sanitizer :-).. it would be great to find a way to condense them. Overall ,we were pleased and I think I'd go back and If so, we will sit in the main dining area.”

“It's Pizza time. This time I got a large pizza, because there was a large pizza. The Classic Napoli Cheese Pie, with Napoli Red Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese. I'm glad there's add on topping selections. The extra toppings were 38% of the Pizza pie, but worth it. I got Anchovies, Pineapples, and Red Onions. I don't care what anybody says, I'm one of those people that believe Pineapple belongs on a Pizza. It's so wrong, but it's so right. It's like the Carl's Jr. TERIYAKI BURGER. Who remembers the TERIYAKI Burger? This is the most distant to the TERIYAKI Burger. The Anchovies reminds me of Sardines, I spent a lot of time at the Cannery Row factories while growing up. Santorini people out there prepare Sardines and Anchovies a lot. There's a lot of Omega-3 in Sardines and Anchovies. Anchovies aren't for everybody, like anybody who aren't into cured fish. And Anchovies, are in Caesar Salad dressing. This used to be my go to favorite Pizza, when I was a party animal. The crust was beyond good. They don't have this everywhere. This wasn't the most perfect picture, but it'll do. I didn't know if all of this was going to fit in one picture. I don't know if some people out there can see? But they brought out the pedestal for the Pizza this time. Bravo. I also had a Raspberry Italian Soda. The Raspberry Italian Soda had cream in it.”

“This McDonalds is located within an extra mile gas station. My son convinced me to get him a treat from the gas station AND McDonalds- good grief, I know that I'm weak willed! After buying his slushie from extra mile, we walked through the large open wall into the McDonalds. We initially tried ordering on our phone via app. The cashier greeted us and asked to take our order right away, but we let him know we would like to order via app. Unfortunately our app was malfunctioning, so we walked back to the front and the cashier quickly came back up to the front (he was helping his coworkers in the back) to assist us. My son has a weird order (two cheeseburgers, sans burger, mustard, ketchup, onions, mustard, and pickles) but the cashier was on top of his game and clarified "like a grilled cheese?. Bingo, this guy knows what he's talking about! The amount of times we have made our order and instead received a bun with meat and cheese makes my head spin. So I knew we were in good hands! My sons food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. He was delighted and his order was correct. We will definitely be coming back to this location, as the staff are wonderful and attentive. However, we could never say anything bad about Baskin Robbins, especially this place hands-down very friendly group that was working the evening we went. Usually 100% at boba shops can be cloyingly sweet. I asked the workers and they said the default isn't too sweet. Glad I trusted their judgment and appreciated their input! The Okinawa can't be made with oat/other milk. But the default milk used is non-dairy. If I'm craving boba I'd come back to Rare Tea. It's milk tea that actually tastes like tea.”

New Restaurants
“We literally just walked out of lunch after walking in admittedly for food out of convenience, as we were getting our dog's teeth cleaned a few doors down and needed something to eat. The presence of Ma La Xiang Guo on the menu (and the owner's comment that the chefs are from Sichuan) caught our attention, so we ended up ordering a Beef Xiang Guo. We neglected to specify the spiciness, so it came out pretty spicy--too much for the wife (who isn't very tolerant), satisfying for me (who will gladly sacrifice his intestines in pursuit of spice he will feel every step of its journey through his body). The spice did not overwhelm the rest of the sauce, which had a pleasant, herby flavor to accompany the crunch of the lotus root and woodear. I don't know how authentic it was but I certainly found it delicious. We also ordered their green beans with eggplant. I'm used to this recipe being spicy, but either the Xiang Guo masked the spiciness or it was a very mild variant (suiting my wife just fine). It also had the crunch I expect to accompany the green beans, as well as the garlicky flavor we enjoy with these veggie dishes. Lastly, given the sudden downpour of rain, we ordered the corn and chicken soup, which was exactly the mild we were looking for--the right amount of salt, corn, and chicken in broth--to offset the bold flavors of the Xiang Guo. My wife enjoyed their bubble tea as accompaniment, but unfortunately it's a fixed sweetness, which meant this sugarblood couldn't enjoy one as well. But they're a restaurant, not a boba joint, so that's understandable. They also threw in a dessert which my wife seemed to enjoy, but I can't find the equivalent on the menu offhand. Their portions were generous enough that these three dishes were more than enough for two to eat, and we had to get takeout containers for the return trip. We're not up in Vacaville much, and if it we didn't need to have our dog's teeth cleaned, we probably wouldn't drive the hour and a half it took to get here specifically for this place. However, we will look forward to eating here and further exploring the menu whenever we're in the area.”
“Welcome Wow Wow Lemonade to Vacaville! Kept hearing about this place, so my boyfriend and I wanted to check out the hype. We ordered the Original Açaí Bowl and Strawberry Pineapple Lemonade. Original Açaí Bowl: This was my first ever açaí bowl and it did not disappoint! To describe the taste, it was reminiscent of a banana berry smoothie from Jamba Juice LOL. It was topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and bananas that were perfectly ripened, not sour or too sweet. The consistency of the açaí bowl was pretty smooth with only a couple of acai chunks at the bottom, but overall still delicious. As for the portions, my boyfriend and I were able to share one bowl so I'd say the portions are pretty generous! Strawberry Pineapple Lemonade: This one was not a fave for me because unfortunately, the lemonade overpowered the strawberry and pineapple flavors, making for a super sour drink. After letting the drink water down, the lemonade became more enjoyable but unfortunately was still lacking the strawberry and pineapple flavors. Service: Service was very quick and nice; the employees even walk out the drink to you! Ambience: Since Wow Wow Lemonade originated in Hawaii, they keep in touch with their roots through the island music they play! Their store was also bright and spacious with a couple of seats to lounge on. Overall, Wow Wow Lemonade has delicious açaí bowls that I definitely want to come back to try with great customer service and a clean ambience.”
