“Oh hell yes. As a Buffalo expat I've been searching for good wings. They had the size, they had the right way of cooking, they had the variety between drums and splits. Plenty of meat on the bones and there wasn't some tiny half-wing that counts against me in my 6 piece; they were all full size!My wife surprised me with the Atomic take out, snd the guy packed a glove and said I probably couldn't finish em. I did, and I loved them, and I'll be back for them again. Kinda regretted not using the glove 5 hours later when I rubbed my eye though!”

“Had a 9th birthday celebration here! This was one of the best decisions, and I highly recommend having your next event hosted here! We had the pleasure of Kalani host our event, and let me tell you, she is in simple form AMAZING! Kalani interacted with the birthday kiddos and made sure they all were taken care of with food choices and drinks, which was REALLY nice. Gave us time to chat with the adult guests that accompanied their children. The timing was right on from guest arrival , taking our food order , gathering up the kiddos over the PA, accounting for everyone, food arriving hot, and enjoyable to all. Not only did the kiddos have an enjoyable time, as did the adults! Some of the items we ordered: Of course the Pepperoni pizza, you have to try the BBQ chicken wasn't dry, very tasty , veggie and cheese for those who aren't fans of Pepperoni or chicken. The Korean BBQ wings come with celery were pretty good as well. There is that salad bar that looked really fresh, crisp, and well tended to. When it was time for the cake, it was brought out everyone engaged in the Happy birthday song, which was really fun for all. I also noticed Kalani was also using ASL, which was super cool.. She then again right there cutting, serving and interacting.... The man of the house, Chuck E Cheese himself, visits each birthday table for individual greetings and pictures.. Wow, what a fun filled, happy, memorable day for everyone! I WOULD LIKE TO ALSO GIVE BIG THANK YOU AND GRADITUDE TO MR. W.C. who personally overseen this event to see it was just as it turned out to be! Super spectacular!Kid-friendliness: Where a kid can be a kid”

Texas Roadhouse 3333 N Texas St, Fairfield Steak House • $$
3333 N Texas St, Fairfield

“Wonderful service and great-tasting food. The atmosphere is loud and obnoxious. I sometimes think the Fairfield location tries to reach or exceed its "Maximum Occupancy" limit. We were a party of six from Vacaville (a 20-minute drive one way) and dined in last night around 6 PM, on the 7th of April. Our food was brought out 37 minutes later, as indicated by the timer set on my phone. We ordered the usual appetizers/starters along with entrées.The booths typically accommodate five "full-sized and average" people. Last time we dined here at Texas Roadhouse, we were given a booth, and I didn't have enough elbow space to cut my food because we were literally shoulder-to-shoulder.I understand it's a steakhouse, not fine dining, but the noise level is akin to being in a dance club!Thank goodness the Fairfield location stopped giving out peanuts. People throwing peanuts on the ground like uncivilized behavior was an eyesore, and I empathize with the servers and staff having to clean up the heinous mess on the restaurant grounds!I insisted on a table, and phoning in to request one is another ordeal. Consistent busy signals and hearing the Verizon lady calmly informing me that the restaurant number is not reachable.Come and dine in for the complimentary bread rolls with sweetened cinnamon butter along with the delicious entrées. Make a swift exit to save your ears and hearing!Parking: The lot is spacious; however, if planning to dine around busy times, come early to find spot(s). Otherwise you'll have to "hunt for your parking spot" and trail around people like shopping at Costco during peak hours!”

Jelly Belly Café & Snack Bar 1 Jelly Belly Ln, Fairfield Diner • $$$$

“From the moment we arrived, we were swept up in the excitement of this colorful and delicious destination. As we made our way through the factory, we were amazed by the sights and sounds of the production process. Rows of brightly colored machines whirred and hummed as they churned out endless streams of jellybeans in every shade and flavor imaginable. The air was filled with the sweet, sugary aroma of freshly made candy, and it was almost impossible to resist the temptation to taste a few samples. One of the highlights of the tour was learning about the history of Jelly Belly and its famous fans. We were thrilled to hear that President Reagan was a huge fan of these delicious treats, and we were even more impressed to see the incredible artwork made entirely out of jellybeans. From portraits of Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln to a stunning depiction of the Statue of Liberty, the talent and attention to detail on display was truly impressive. After the tour, we were treated to an unfinished jellybean, which was a fun and tasty way to end our visit. It was a truly fun and memorable experience, and one that we'll always treasure. If you're a fan of jelly beans or just looking for a fun and tasty way to spend an afternoon, the Jelly Belly Factory is definitely worth a visit.”

“Open only a half day a week and we happened to drop in at the right time. I think this site says reservations only but that is not the case. I think they base it on the weather, but seems they are open Saturdays from about 1130 on. Super cute barn with great beam structure, lighting and ambiance. After walking thru to the far side of the bar, you can sit inside or head out to the vineyard and outdoor seating where they will serve you wine tasters as you finish the last. They had 4 they were tasting this day and I liked the Pinot Noir the best. Don't forget to enjoy the views from the vineyard while you are there. And make sure to chat with the owners who started the vineyard some 20 years ago as their retirement adventure. They are very sweet.”

“First thing I noticed when I walked was the walfle smell. They have a huge selection of healthy meal options. The owner is very passionate about what she is doing here. We ordered a chocolate waffle and a strawberry one. I have to say the strawberry was my favorite but then again I'm not huge on chocolate. The only thing I would suggest is maybe having the picture of the drink on the TV next to the menu or printed versions. The menu looks a little overwhelming and knowing what you are ordering is important and helps.”
