We ordered the garlic bread to start (definitely a nice bite to hold you over for the main dishes, if you don't want anything too filling). For dinner, we ordered pasta which is clearly made with all the heavenly cheeses. If you're a chocolate lover, the dessert is for YOU! Forgot what it was called, but it was like a chocolate cake with ganache and more chocolate and I cannot explain how delicious it was. It's not some milk chocolate cake, so don't be fooled by all the chocolate. Cannot wait to return here and enjoy another wonderful dinner!”

“Jason from Ruffhouse was fantastic! He catered our wedding in Ventura on 9/21 for about 97 people, and he was incredibly prompt with communication, very easygoing and professional. The food was SO GOOD - the venue we had chosen didn't have a kitchen available, so they brought in all the food freshly prepared and kept it hot. Our guests were raving about it - they especially loved the brisket. My husband is from Texas and I'm from California, so it was extra fun given it's CA-TX bbq. We loved it and highly recommend, thank you, Jason and team!”

Edenic nails it with their atmosphere, prices, and most importantly to me their customer service. Oh and ofcourse can't forget how amazing their smoothies are. Having tried every smoothie on the menu, I can definitely say that if you like all natural and healthy ingredients put into your body, without lacking flavor, then edenic is a must! And this is coming from someone who has tried every smoothie place under the sun. I knew edenic had something special when I was able to get my sugar obsessed , never try anything healthy or new teenage son addicted to their smoothies. Also would love to note that their chicken pesto panini sandwich is by far one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.”

The chia pudding was absolutely incredible—hands down one of the best I’ve ever had, with the perfect texture and flavor. On the other hand, the Power Up smoothie was a bit underwhelming, lacking the bold taste I was expecting (I added coffee to it). That said, the overall experience was great, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff - Kai especially- who clearly care about what they do. If you’re in Ventura and looking for a nourishing, delicious option, this place is definitely worth a visit!”

I had the pleasure of enjoying the lunch special at Lucky Thai, and it was absolutely fantastic!
The Spicy Basil Chicken was bursting with flavor—tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and the perfect level of heat from fresh Thai chilies. Every bite was a delightful balance of savory and spicy with fragrant basil shining through.
The Drunken Noodles with Shrimp were phenomenal! The wide rice noodles were perfectly cooked, soaking up the rich, garlicky sauce, and the shrimp were plump, fresh, and flavorful.
The meal started with a comforting bowl of Egg Drop Soup, silky and rich with just the right texture. The accompanying Thai Salad was light and refreshing, with crisp vegetables and a tasty, tangy dressing.
The portions were generous, the flavors authentic, and the service warm and friendly. Lucky Thai has truly earned its place as my go-to spot for Thai cuisine.

Two minor suggestions for improvement: ease up on the fries' seasoning (salt) and include utensils with to-go orders. Highly recommended for fresh seafood lovers! “If I could give this place 6 stars I would! This is my go to taco shop in Ventura. My only complaint is they're closed on Mondays and I almost always crave them that day. Other then the tacos they've got many other delicious dishes to choose from including menudo on the weekends in the morning. I highly recommend the pastor tacos! Family run and the service is always spot on. I like that if you go there often enough they're most likely going to start remembering you and what you order and those places are hard to find anymore.

How lucky am I to have discovered this Clemente Bakery!? It’s only a matter of time before they get their James Beard award.
Update: the blueberry oatmeal pistachio cookie is out of this world good. Each bite tastes a cloud of butter vanilla deliciousness. Also it wasn’t super rich and didn’t leave me feeling bloated afterward. So so good”

I replied and said sorry I didn't call them by the right name, I want two of the side salads. Evelin not only used a sarcastic tone of voice but also rolled her eyes at me. We continued our order and paid leaving her no tip. Evidentially she wasn't smart enough to put two and two together that I wanted two of the smaller sized salads. “What a great experience my friends and I had at The Blue Agave. The patio was large and clean. I love eating outside. The overall restaurant decor was fun and full of things to look at. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The owner, Rogillio even came over at the end to chat. What a nice man. Funny, friendly; really sealed the deal to make me want to come back. With 700 or more tequilas, we were able to order flights of several reposado tequilas to try. It was amazing. I wish they had a tequila sommelier on staff to walk us through each glass. That would make for the cherry on top! Nonetheless, my friends and I googled each one and performed our own tasting experience. The food was amazing! Chips, salsa, guacamole, ceviche, and best of all their chimichanga! I'll definitely be back for more. 7 tequilas down, 693 to go.”

Our waiter came and took our drink order. Malbec for me… so good, I had to ask what it was: Öko 🤤 and my husband ordered a smash berry something. THAT was SO BOMB! A hint of mint and full flavor of berries bursting bar god deliciousness! We ordered the butter board, now the presentation could use some work… I’m more about flavor and that butter (two options) was finger lickin good. The waiter took a few minutes to chat and told us it was pineapple butter. 🤯 it’s served with small pieces of… maybe focaccia bread (which btw alone was so good too). Meanwhile, the manager has his eye on everything. He saw the moment we put down our menus, and was there to ask is we has any questions. I did: there’s no house salad on the menu & he accommodated my request for one, which was a deciding factor for my main course. The SoCal Bolognese was bursting with flavor. This is new to the menu, we’ve been a few times… my husband is a fan, I was never impressed… until last night. The chorizo was spicy, but not overpowering, pasta cooked perfectly. The house salad could’ve used more tomatoes, but I really can’t complain since it’s not on the menu to begin with. My husband ordered the ahi steak on top of green beans and he said it was really good. It looked amazing, but I was in heaven with the butter board & the bolognese, my palate couldn’t handle the flavor overload 😜 After about 6 visits, I finally found something worth writing home about. For sure putting this place back into rotation. And the prices… very reasonable. Might be coming here a lot more. Everyone was super nice and helpful.”

They serve several premium items including Crab legs, fresh oysters on the half shell, and a Mongolian BBQ station where they cook your stir fry to order. The rest of the steam table is what you would expect but the staff kept everything very clean and brought out new dishes regularly.”

“When Ventura first opened up my wife and I ordered meals to go unfortunately things were a little shaky at the time and the meals were short certain items and some things were correct. After calling Ventura and talking to the manager they agreed that next time we come in the meals would be on them. Well as time goes along some things get lost and today the wife found the receipt and called up the restaurant and talk to the manager his name is Nicholas. Well he did a great job he not only provided the meals for us but he was Very very cordial about it and thoroughly understanding he did a great job he made a lifetime customer with my wife and I and I appreciate his hard work and the good food that comes out of this restaurant thank you”
