My boyfriend and I ordered the Sachi boat, assorted sushi and sashimi and a specialty roll on this cute boat and everything was delicious!

But you really cant go wrong with any flavor they serve.. 3 locations as of now: Weho, Venice and Larchmont but West Hollywood is the best.”

“okay i could write an entire novel about my experience here, but i will keep it brief. my sister and i came to the WeHo Uchi to celebrate my birthday after hearing lots of buzz about it. When we entered, we were immediately greeted warmly and had a lovely exchange with the host. The ambiance was beautiful, everything was pristine and curated, and everyone member of the staff were friendly and comfortable to speak to. Our waiter—whom i sadly cannot remember the name of— truly went above and beyond with his service. We ordered the omakase for two and a few other small dishes, but he threw in two on the house— one being wagyu as a “birthday present” and the other being nigiri. We were choosing between the nigiri and a roll, and when we ultimately chose the roll, our waiter brought us both dishes anyway. Everything felt incredibly thoughtful and personal; there was even a little handwritten card wishing me a happy birthday. The food came out very swiftly—and speaking of the food, it exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh, beautiful in its presentation, and very unique. This is one of the few sushi places in LA that I think truly lives up to the hype surrounding it. thank you for a great birthday dinner; we will be back again, again, and again!”

Oh, and side note - my favorite parts of the night was when a well lubricated woman walked up to the DJ booth and asked for the check and her husband behind her tried to keep her the DJ wasn't a service booth... He Looked to the sky like Ben Affleck did after he opened and closed the car door for Jennifer Lopez.

“Been wanting to try this place for a couple years now. Glad we finally did. Excellent food, much better than any Jinya Ramen. We had a bunch of appetizers. Indeed, their Takoyaki was amazing, Howard Yang! 😍 We had 2 seasonal specials, the Spicy Crispy Shrimp Roll and the cold Tan Tan ramen. Both were fantastic, albeit a bit too spicy for me. Service is super friendly. We will definitely be back. Want to try a bunch of other things, including the hot ramens.”

I rented out the private dining room for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. “So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.”

“This was our first time visiting Los Angeles and the West Coast, and since we’re considering moving from the UK in the future, we really wanted to experience what nightlife in LA actually feels like. Finding Bar Next Door turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip.

The place has an amazing chilled atmosphere, excellent staff, and genuinely great cocktails that are neither overpriced nor watered down — something that can be hard to find. One of the coolest details was the music being played through a vintage tape player, which gave the whole bar a unique character and old-school charm.

The location also felt safe and welcoming, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy the evening. Definitely recommend this place if you want a more authentic and laid-back West Hollywood experience.”

The place is cozy and can use a modern revamp but keep the heritage. I ordered the 2 taco carnitas combination plate and a aqua fresca. My order came up quick and it was freash and hot. My tacos were delicious and the beans and rice were perfect. The cook was way more friendly and inviting then the cashier, but i get it, customer service can be draining. The cook reminded me to try the free condiments of fresh Pico de Gallo and other condiments available at the counter, and im glad I did. If you're ever in the west hollywood area and looking for authentic Mexican American food, with a corner dinner vibe. Then head over to Los Tacos! Friendly, welcoming and great food.”

“Somehow I had never tried this place until about a month ago through Uber eats when I was craving an Apple fritter. Have ordered a few times since and think I’ve found my favorite donut/breakfast sandwich place in LA. Everything is always super fresh even if I order at 3 in the afternoon. The fritter is huge and might be the best I’ve ever had. Bagel breakfast sandwiches are perfect as are the other donuts I’ve had. So happy places like this still exist!!!”

“I’m writing this to show my full support for the restaurant and its staff. I read about the recent incident involving a blogger who ordered an expensive bottle of wine, complained it was too cold, and then refused to pay after the bottle was opened.

In Florida, as in most states, an opened bottle of wine cannot be returned or refunded simply because the customer doesn’t like the temperature. The manager acted correctly and professionally by following the law and calling the police when the guest refused to pay.

What is absolutely unacceptable is using social media influence to incite followers to leave negative reviews based on only one side of the story. This is not a review - it’s bullying. The staff here work hard every day to provide great service, and they don’t deserve to have their reputation damaged by someone who thought she could get a free bottle by making a scene.

“Cute restaurant. We already had a great time having a breakfast downstairs so we went for bruch last Sunday. After an icky start - getting a reservation was problematic- we really had a good time, the food was nice, and the service was immaculate. Sadly, the three of us were seated under a speaker. The music was so loud that we were hardly able to communicate - so for my recent visit we'd give three out of five stars. Both are easy fixes - and if they do, I am happy to give five stars on our next visit.”

We also shared the French toast, which was just as delicious. “This is an absolute gem of a bar in LA/WeHo! My friend and I stumbled upon it after playing pickleball and I am so happy we did.

LA nightlife is great and all but it is incredibly rare (especially when you're not on the west side) to find a great BAR with great PEOPLE and a truly eclectic and incredibly fun mix of everyone - and this place is it. Mic's isn't trying to be flashy or fancy and that is the genius of it! It reminds me of Cheers because almost immediately, you inevitably get to know everyone who works there and all the regulars.

The staff is the best that I've come across in the city - CB, Cody, Kyle, and everyone else - they are the nicest and the most fun.

Mic's also has an incredible happy hour every single day!
