“Bubba's offers tasty bar food. We tend to gravitate to pizza and salad if it's Tuesday for their special. With a few beers we can get away with dinner under $50. On other days we stop in for beers, chorizo queso, and hot wings. The only thing we stopped getting were the fried pickles because now they are overly salty. If we are on that side of town, we'll stop for beers and a snack. I also like that they'll put the Detroit sports games on TV if a team is playing.“

“We are on a house hunting trip from Phoenix and stopped here to have a drink and lunch. The food here is phenomenal. Had gumbo and it was superb. Perfectly spiced and balanced with ample, sausage, peppers and the right amount of rice. Had sirracha and chipotle wings. The wings were smoked and then fried crispy. They were served with carrot sticks, and the dipping sauces, blue cheese and ranch, were homemade and absolutely delicious. Kerrin was our server and she too was great, attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“It's an on time drive in, and has excellent food/service still, even in 2024. I had the green chili fries, and it was enough to fill me up, even without the burger ? I ordered. The shakes have plenty of chunks of real fruit in them. It's one of the few places you can still get an actual malt in town. The prices are reasonable and well worth the cost. We both have seen other people we know who go there to eat also and we've talked to them that's are friends also. You can walk in and seat yourself except when they are really busy and all the tables are packed because one weekend they asked for my father's name and said it would be 30 minutes since they were really busy and after 30 minutes they called us and took us to a table.“

The patty melt is heccin good, too.But the fries! Best fries of any burger joint, full stop. These are skinny fries, with their seasoning. And they are made hot and fresh to order, just like your burger.The frozen custard treats are just as good as the savory side of the menu. Oh, the onion rings aren't so great.“

“The point is a great little establishment. It's a great place to watch sports and have a good conversation with good people. Bartenders ate friendly and for the most part knowledgable with what they serve. You can order food also. I call it Comfortable bar food. And it's enough to satisfy your hunger. I recommend the burgers. I also recommend going there on the weekends. There's a great Bartender by the name of Amanda. She'll make your drinks the way you want and she'll even cook your food to perfection or at least try.
