“I'm in town from Oregon and I rode the bus for like an hour to eat lunch here by myself. No regrets. The atmosphere: unmatched. Folks were playing songs on the juke box that got me hype for a concert I'm seeing tomorrow, and the bartender's playlist was super dope too. The food: unreal. I got the poodle bites and idk if I was expecting like more of a hush puppy with a little bit of ground meat inside, but that first bite of pure cornmeal-fried sausage absolutely took me out. You must get these. The Gwarled cheese was really good too, you gotta put the pickles on it for some bite cause it's rich. Pork belly was a tad dry for me. The sweet tots were the best I've ever had (and I come from the state that invented tater tots!) The service: awesome. Food came quick, I didn't get drinks but other folks were getting them immediately and cheerfully. Go here and tip well!“
“Always my go-to spot for delicious food. When just wanting a quick bite I get the Cuban sandwich, best I have found in Colorado. Also have to highly suggest you try the Caribbean Pork.... See the pic below, just as amazing on the flavor as the visual. Been a customer since my first brunch here in 2004.Kid-friendliness: Have always had one - three with me every time.“
“Had a really good time at Pete’s, not only is the food amazing but they’ve played a big part in Denver history. Our bartender Jessie was amazing, the drinks were great and affordable! I definitely recommend coming to Pete’s Satire, chilling, and getting a couple drinks and playing some games. Great environment and music!“
“Wings are always phenomenal, I’d argue best in Denver. So many flavors to choose from, and they are giant! Tonight I got the grilled cheese on garlic bread with steak, and a side of sweet potato fries. If you get the sweet fries, ask for a side of peanut sauce. You’ll thank me later! This is a busy bar, but they still make you feel welcome and important. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere!“
“We make the trek from Littleton to this place! Honestly it’s because of how they make you feel like your at home! If you know the show cheers this is Denver’s version where everyone knows your name and takes care of you! Btw the food is top notch also“
“We went there for a lunch gathering with coworkers and despite the grill being broke they had excellent appetizers we had the cheese curds and the beef empanadas and OMG they were delicious especially the empanadas I've never tasted anything like them and I've tried lots of empanadas but these are out of this world!!! I would definitely recommend to anyone who lives good quality food and the drinks, I had a watermelon Moscow mule the best drink I've had at any bar or restaurant in a very very long time I only wished I could've stayed and had like 10 more lol! Incredible!!!! I plan to return as many times as possible and I don't mind driving an hour to get there either because it's definitely worth it!Parking: It was pretty comfortable as far as amount of spots and how close they were to the establishment making it easily accessible.Kid-friendliness: They have sidewalk chalk to color with on the patio and a oversized connect 4 game also on the patio that my son absolutely loved! Pretty cool place and my son had a blast from the food to the entertainment and everything in-between ???“
“Great experience. We went over to watch part of the Super Bowl. The place is very cool, and the staff is very friendly.I was excited to see soooo many gluten free options. We had some chicken to start, then fish and chips and reuben. Big portions! Chicken was absolutely great, as was the Reuben. The fish and chips impression was more mixed - the batter was great, but the fish itself wasn't the best. I wouldn't expect some amazing quality, so that would be fine, but I'd recommend for the kitchen to add lots of lemon juice and a bit of salt before dipping it in the batter, could remove some of the muddy taste, plus it's difficult to season it later.Happy overall, though, we will be back. With some many GF options, I couldn't be happier to have a spot like this!“
“My FAVORITE place for not only happy hour but for surf & turf! I have been coming to Logan street for 3 years now and have had superior service every. single. time.Whether I sit at a table with friends or my mom and order wine and surf and turf or sit at the bar and order wine and a caesar salad, I’ve NEVER been disappointed.I’d like to give a HUGE shoutout to the team who has taken care of me and have made me feel right at home:Maddie, Cillian, KT and Corie!!!This is by far my favorite spot to come too for not only the food and company but the atmosphere as well.I hope one day you will do brunch!! I have great ideas for this restaurant and have SOOO many friends who would come join for regular dining and brunch!Thank you Logan street ❤️❤️ love you all!!!“
“Stopped in for a weekday lunch. The service was great, even thru shift change. Not hard to look at either; think 'local Hooters / Twin Peaks' alternative. Friendly, attentive & competent. Flirty but not risqué. Go support independent business, lol! If you & your S.O. would be comfortable @ Hooters, you would be here too.The menu is varied; seems to me to be kinda Mexican themed, but with lots of other options - chicken, fish, salads, Italian, even a couple French items. It's a step up from fundamental bar food, and I liked it. The portions are generous, and served quickly. The drinks are tasty. Fair pours; I wouldn't call them heavy-handed tho.Two of us were there for about 3 hours; had apps, lunch, a couple rounds of drinks, and at least two entrees to go. Came to little over $100/ea with tip. Pretty dang reasonable, considering all the food we ordered.I'll definitely go back ... pretty chill place to relax.Enjoy!“
“A great neighborhood hangout. Nice menu, a lot of great options to choose from, reasonable portions and friendly bar staff. Would love a bigger tap beer menu, more diversity, but they seem to cater to regular guests. Good happy hour spot, good TV's for games on "regular" cable channels (no PAC-12 network).“
“Overall, I really liked this place. The drinks were good and the prices were fair. My only complaint would be the food. We ordered cheese curds and they came out almost instantly and they were room temperature. I’m not sure if it’s a popular item so they pre-cook them or if someone cancelled their order but it was disappointing.“
“What a fun little arcade bar! All the old school games like Frogger, Donkey Kong, Tron, PAC Man, Ms pac man, Tetris, house of the dead, dig dug, and so many pinball machines! Had a great time and will definitely be back. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat anything.“
“I came here for an event, and it was very full, making it challenging to move around. I heard this is one of the top 10 bars in Denver, and the atmosphere might not be the greatest, but the drinks are fabulous, and I had the best dirty martini ?“
“I've been going to Billy's since I was in college. Of all the North side dives "gone good", Billy's has some of the best food and a tequila menu made for my tastes. I'm GF by inheritance, the options are clearly marked and some of the tastiest items on the bill.Dietary restrictions: GF tacos are delicious!“
“I have passed by many times so I finally came in and loved it! First off my my server Tyler was so great at feilding all of my questions and making the time fun. The Gyro plate was so good! I also tried a seasonal Irish coffee and it was delicious. To top it off you get to hear live pianists play for you. Great vibes!“
“Great neighborhood bar. Always feel welcome no matter what day I stop in. Their breakfast chile relleno is amazing. Green chile is flavorful and plentiful. Drinks are strong and generous. They have a special shot with a mix of pickle and spice that is tasty.“
“This was my first time in and I really enjoyed it. It’s a laid back LGBTQ+ bar with friendly bartenders and some fun games. I’d say it’s a great spot to meet up with friends for some drinks and games! I didn’t try any of the food but I’ll be sure to do so next time I stop in.“
“Great local tavern! The man running the bar was attentive and kind, really great service. I had the jalapeño gold wings which were a 5/5 for me. Good size wings, great sauce. The Rodeo burger was big burger but a good value! Would definitely come back for some wings and to have a drink.Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair and were very accommodating to my baby “
“We discovered The Hound a couple years ago and have been coming back every Friday since. We love the food and drinks. Raychel the bartender is fabulous and so attentive. And AB makes such wonderful food. Thanks so much to both of you. We look forward to Fridayeven more because of you! Kimberly and Michael“
“Wing Wednesday is the best here. Just br careful ordering the fuego wings they are extremely hot. Wednesday is all you can eat wings and they are well worth it.. this place also has awesome daily food specials.. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good wings ....“
“Fantastic neighborhood bar! The kitchen totally surprised me, the Spicy Meatball Sammy was super delicious... didn't expect that good of a hot sandwich from a bar. My kids love the Hot Dogs and pizza. Tots are ???too!Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome before 8pm (I believe)“
“This locally owned upscale American restaurant is a definite go-to if you are a tourist wanting to try local food. We had the Forgeage mushroom pasta that was fresh and light with mouthing watering flavors. We also order the bison burger and we are still craving it even after our dinner. Prices are reasonable for the quality. The host as well as the sever were very accommodating and friendly during our whole stay. I would recommend Appaloosa Grill to locals and people visiting who want local food that is reasonable and great quality!“
“This bar is an awesome place to enjoy your time and get some stress off of your shoulders. The owner is super nice and the bartenders are like family.Wheelchair accessibility: The restrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The doors are narrow.“
“We came up after sushi at Temaki Den to take in some views on a Sunday early afternoon. We couldn't find anyone to seat us so waited at the bar. There were very few people there yet. It was a bit longer wait than anticipated but we finally got some drinks that were great and took them out to the patio to enjoy the 360 views and mountains. I can imagine on a busier day, you might need to pack your patience but definitely worth a visit for the views.“
“My wife and I came here for date night and had a wonderful experience! We don’t have to wait too long after our reservation and we got a great booth along the outer edge of the restaurant. The service was something to be desired although in fairness they were very busy that night. Highly recommend you start with the Grilled Artichokes! They had great flavor and it came with three good sized artichoke halves. I had a hard time decided on dinner as there were so many things that looked good. My wife ended up ordering the Emerald Kale and Rotisserie Chicken salad and I ordered the Ding’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was out of this world! The flavor was impeccable and the portion was perfect. My wife also had great things to say about her salad! We didn’t save enough room for dessert but we already can’t wait to come back again!Parking: There is a small (free) parking lot behind the restaurant if you can find a spot. Otherwise you’re stuck trying to find parking along the street.“
“Do not make the mistake of underestimating this place! Their food and service is performing on the level of the best restaurants in Denver. We had one of the best meals here we’ve had in a long time and we frequent all the trendiest, most hyped up places like el five, safta, and work and class. Do yourself a favor and get in now before they blow up and you can’t get a reservation for 6 months!“
“The Kentucky Inn is a a fun neighborhood hang out and a iconic bar of the 40s, the owner Jim Armstrong is an amazing entrepreneur and I was very honored and excited to be chosen to help with the renovation of the new booth, tables, barstools, and paint job. It has been serving this community since before World War II when the Gates rubber company had three shifts running, and workers would come by at six in the morning as they got off of work for something good to eat and cold beer and a place to smoke and although smoking is long gone on the inside the bar still carries age, kissed Surface of the old ashtrays and elbows. Not to see the Kentucky Inn is to miss what South Denver all about.“
“really unique way to experience the game! To eat here you just need a ticket to the game. We made reservations for a Friday night game but it wasn’t super busy so we could have just walked in. They have a nice buffet full of wonderful foods and it’s all you can eat. I recommend coming with a group of 4 or less. We came with a large group and had a large table that made it more difficult to watch the game if you were sitting in the back half.“
“Well, what can I say? Nothing short of excellent, superb, and memorable. The snacks and drinks are delightful and best of all, the customer service is absolutely priceless. Sylvester is funny, engaging and serves cheerfully with a smile on his face. What a blessed experience! Don't just take my word for it, stop by and see for yourself.“
“I've driven past this neighborhood bar many times over the years and have been. curious about it. I stopped in today.I was the only non Hispanic person in the bar. This may be the absolutely friendliest bar I've ever been in. Lots of people introducing themselves and welcoming me. I will definitely be back.“
“This was a great place to stop in have dinner and drink some beers while watching some football. Staff was friendly and checked on us often. When they get busy it gets busy, so be patient. There were only 3-4 staff members running the show. Hidden gem for us!“
“The food here is surprisingly really good. Maybe part of it was that I was thinking it wasn't going to be that special because of the low reviews, but still. It seems that they rotate their menu because what was on the menu there was different than what was online. I got the Buffalo wings, with Bleu cheese, which was pretty hot for Buffalo wings, but still quite good, and I also got the bacon cheeseburger, which had bacon, cheddar, arugula, tomato, and barbecue sauce I believe it was. Honestly, it was one of the better burgers I have had. There is so much diverse taste and flavor to it, which is hard to find with most burgers. I've got to say is one downside was they forgot our wings initially, so that created a bit of extra wait for that after already eating late after 9pm, which was annoying, but it all worked out. They got everything cooked in a reasonable time. It was a good restaurant, and I wouldn't mind eating here if I came back to this hotel again.“
“Love this place! Food is great and customer service is too. All I ask, if it is possible, can we please have the games setup on the TV on NFL Sundays before people walk in? ? people were waiting 30 minutes after kickoff for the games to be put on“
“Oh. My. God this place is HUGE! Stopped by on St Patrick's Day and it was the right time to try it out lol. It was in a great location and had two gargantuan floors. I was legitimately surprised how massive it was on the inside. I didn't have any food but it all looked great. I think I counted (at least) 6 different bars, indoors and outdoors. All the servers were incredibly fast and had provided great service. We met a big group up there and had an outstanding time. Without a doubt will be going back sometime soon“
“Nice restaurant located inside of the Magnolia hotel. I came here for breakfast and had a pleasant experience. They have a lot of great menu items to choose from and servers were really nice. I ended up getting The Magnolia and some coffee . Everything was great except the coffee could have been better. I would definitely go back “
“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“
“Had a pleasurable experience here randomly walked in off the street and we were welcomed with a smile. Had great banter with all the staff there. Some really lovely craft beers and excellent food there. If I’m ever back in Denver this will be top of my list.“
“We finished a 7k in the morning and needed some good food for lunch. The 49th is hands down the best lunch you can have on any given day. The staff 10/10, from cocktails down to the beer 10/10, and this will be a spot that my wife and I can come to forever.“
