OMG, I feel like I got it from the food truck and am in HEAVEN right now. Whoever made this made it EXACTLY how I like it. Thank you Shah’s - I Will Be Back!!! I promise!!!”

“Sal worked with us for my grandsons baptism party. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. Lemon chicken was amazing. Roasted vegetables with hot peppers, WOW! Roasted potatoes, fantastic! Portions are more than expected. Sal is wonderful to work with and you will not be disappointed with the food”

“I fell in love with Birria tacos recently during a visit to TX, so I was really looking forward to trying this food truck. It was a big disappointment. $32 for three small tacos and a quesadilla? They didn’t even include the consome which is a signature part of the Birria experience. You had to pay extra for it. We asked if they had any chicken or shrimp options, which are listed on their website…nope. Just beef, which was pretty bland. Sorry, wanted to like ya, but one and done.”

“Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and was greeted and seated immediately. The menu caters to vegan as well as meat lovers. The food is absolutely delicious. A small space authentically decorated with Tibetan decor. Highly recommend visiting!!”

“Went with some friends… 3 adults and 1 toddler. Seating is comfortable and they have high chairs for the kids. Pros: Service was great a very friendly staff. The food was amazing and fresh! Highly recommended. Everything was so fresh and presented nice on the plates. Cons: food took over an hour to get to our table- they seem to have a good pick up/carry out orders which could be why it takes awhile. If you are all adults and have time to relax then it’s perfect- if you have kids I recommend you order take out.”

“I ordered delivery during lunch time. They have some really great lunch special options, so it seemed like the perfect time to try this place. I ordered the beef negimaki bento box which came with soup, salad, a california roll, rice, and some yakitoried veggies. I was able to add one some tempura for 3 dollars extra and I sure did. Everything was absolutely delicious. It came quickly, and was hot. The tempura (two shrimps, a carrot, and a sweet potato) were crispy, light, and delicious. The salad had the classic carrot ginger dressing I love so much. The negimaki was good, the sauce was not too sweet, and the veggies and california roll all tasted great.I would absolutely order here again, the price was reasonable and the food was delicious.”

“I only recently learned that this tapas bar existed in Middletown’s Main Street Market, and I’m so glad that I visited! They had a huge menu with choices to fit anyone’s preferences. Highlights for us were the paella, croquettes, and even the Brussels salad because it had such a great truffle flavor! Their drinks were fantastic - we’re still talking about the Barbie one we had in a unique glass! Definitely save room for the delicious chocolate strawberry cake for dessert. “I’ve always wanted to try soup dumplings, but didn’t want to make the drive out to Hartford.I saw that Steamed was right on Washington St, and decided to go on a little study-dinner by myself.The staff was nice and the inside of the restaurant was as well! I got the Thai tea, wonton pork soup, and the pork soup dumplings!I would say that the food tasted authentic in the sense that it’s very traditional (not like “western” Chinese food). So it seemed slightly bland at first, but after putting their table side chili oil and soy sauce on everything, it tasted pretty good! It was a wonderful experience having soup dumplings for the first time along with all the other restaurant goer’s as well.Kid-friendliness: They have forks in case you’re not able to use chop sticks (I hope nobody saw me spear my dumpling at one point - metal chop sticks are easier for me to use)”

“My first experience trying dosa and I was impressed! This is a decent size restaurant in a plaza, and it had a steady crowd even though we dined later on a Sunday. Every table had an order of dosa and after trying it I can understand why. The dosa was filling and flavorful. A hidden gem!”

“I used to come from wallingford to purchase food from this restaurant. Everything was fresh, shrimp rolls, spring rolls excellent, the cabbage used was actually green, so it was fresh! All meals were excellent quality. I haven't been there in years so I can't say if the menu is the same quality as before.”

“We have been to the Bergen House numerous times and it never disappoints! The owners and staff are so friendly and the service is spot on! The mead is delicious and we love stopping in to see what new flavors they have come up with! My favorites this time were Larry and Blueberry!”

“Salsa's 3 catered our NYE party this year. Talon goes here for lunch all the time and we love Salsa's. We are overwhelmed with how great the catering is! We knew the food would be great because it always is. But they worked with us on portions when we got our headcount. This saved us money and allowed us to buy a greater number of items. Ignore the online catering menu and go in and talk to them since they will break anything down to a half tray and really help you have a great event. Super impressed, 100% recommend and we will of course go back time and time again!”

They serve food and fill growlers but we only had a couple of flights. There were a lot of sour beers on the menu, which is not my thing but if you like them they seem nice.”

“I usually love their pizza but I would recommend going there in person for it or double checking it lately. Ordering online doesn't work since its hard to customize pizzas and ots a 10 minute longer wait minimum. We got 2 pizzas for pick up ordered over the phone. 1st the girl was handling more than one phone at a time so not really knowing if we had her full attention. 2nd we ordered the oozy egg no proscute with an extra egg instead. there was no proscute but also no extra egg and the eggs were on only half the pizza. my hubby asked for a side of red pepper flakes they gave him .5oz, kind of stingy. the 2 pizzas came to $38+ and at that price they could at least pay attention and get the order right. Even if they might have been busy, at least do a quality check or read the order back to the customer so it is right.”

“This restaurant opened in a place that had been a happening pizza place, Mario's. After a brief shut down Agapi opened. Their food is such a higher caliber of good! I don't understand why it's not busier. The quality, taste and price are fantastic. We've tried their pizza's, burgers and traditional Greek dishes and will try even more things! “I have only had take out, but ordering on line is super easy. This Chinese food restaurant allows you to select whatever type of fried rice or lo Mein you want in a combination dinner. That is an awesome option. You can also add egg. (For a slight up-charge) to your rice which is a delicious option too.The crab Rangoons are delicious and you get way more in an order than other Chinese restaurants in town.Parking: Parking is available right beside the building.”

“Went here when I was a young kid years ago, and after the brothers sold it, it went downhill for a while until they closed for remodeling, and lol they must have remodeled their food too because it’s one of the best Italian places I know of now!Everything from their pizza to calzones and meals are delicious. Had the eggplant Parmesan tonight and there was definitely enough to feed two people. It had a ton of delicious eggplant and a beautiful melted layer of mozzarella on top. And you get a side salad and 3 huge garlic knots. Their prices are more than fair for the price quality of the food you’re getting.The staff there is amazing as well. They sound like they actually care and are very polite and welcoming. When ordering over the phone a lot of these places sound like they dont care about your business, but pizza palace is the exact opposite.”

“I love this place, or actually I did. Yesterday my friends and I decided to head out for some celebratory boba at our favorite place, which is here. When we got in they said that they needed an hour to prepare the tapioca pearls so we took some of the kids that were with us to get them rolled ice cream from the place next door. We headed back to here and ordered our usual drinks and waited patiently, which wasn't long because they are really quick with orders and we appreciate that. However, one of our friends ordered a drink and it came in a bit messed up. My friend wasn't happy and let the people know. They simply said just mix it, which my friend did. When she asked if they can fix it, they said no. So she asked for a refund and they refused. My friend was devastated.EDIT- Thanks for the reply, just to let you know, we do love your small business a ton and have recommended it to almost all our other friends. That one event was sad, however we still enjoy the place.”

“My car had complete electrical failure in the drive thru immediately after ordering, with my 3 month old and 6 yr old in the car with me. It was embarrassing, anxiety inducing, and all around terrible. The staff assisted in directing traffic around us, expressed concern and kept coming out to check on us. The young lady( I believe she was named Jasmine?) who was working the window even had her boyfriend try to jump my car.These kids might need some training in keeping the lobby clean, but as far as being decent humans, they went above and beyond to help, and to show concern for a stressed out dad and his two little kids.***Special shout out to the mom in the white suv who went around us to the window and came back to bring me a hot chocolate. “I love to go to Pokemoto. They have really good sauces like the Creamy Miso and make delicious seaweed salad. What I like best about this place is the service though, the servers are always kind and efficient. Today I went to get a Poke bowl and my server, Sophie, helped me pick out some new things to try based on what I liked already. The bowl she helped me create is so scrumptious and I so appreciate her help!! Definitely going to keep coming back here as long as I can.”

“Ordered a cheese cake for my vet/staff for Christmas in appreciation for all they do for me and my furkids and Marie did an amazing job from making the cheesecake, decorating it and also went out of her way to deliver it. They all loved it and I was pleasantly surprised on how cute the cheesecake was decorated with a cute pawprint and holiday festive decos on the side. You have to order at the counter then you can sit down if you want to dine in. The table I sat at was a bit sticky in one spot.Food tasted good especially with the oil. It didn't taste like it was old oil. My clam strips were hot and not rubbery at all so they knew how to appropriately cook them. I received plenty of napkins and ketchup for my fries and didn't need to ask for them.”

“I happened upon this place by chance. I was out driving Lyft and I dropped off a passenger next door and I saw the sign so I turned off my app to check out this restaurant. The restaurant was very clean. The staff were very polite and greeted me and another customer when we walked in. I ordered 12 jumbo wings with 6 of them in lemon pepper rub and the other 6 in Cajun rub. The wings were cooked perfectly cooked and juicy. The Cajun could've been a bit more spicy but still delicious all the same. Great wing spot.”

“This is one of the best restaurants in Middletown and in my opinion, the best pizza in the immediate area. The restaurant is large with a lot of unique cool looking spaces. The main floor and upstairs are the best spots, the basement is lacking in ambiance. I love their unique cocktail offerings and their specialty pizzas which are generally thin crust, new haven style with slight char. My favorite pizza is the Bianco. The salads are are good option as well and are huge. I usually order one to share.”

“I got buffalo chicken pizza for lunch. Best pizza I had in a while…and real chicken pieces on top lol. I also dropped a whole container of ranch on the floor and the young lady was so nice about it.”

“Pulled into this spot after our car was having trouble to grab some breakfast really quick to go. Little did I know my husband and I would be laughing and enjoying the owner's presence (Carmela) at the bar talking about restaurant hospitality and life while our order was being prepared. The food was great. So happy to stumble upon this hidden gem. We will be returning to enjoy the cozy atmosphere this place has with attentive wait staff even when the place was busy. “Sliders is the best! Their wings are delicious and they have so many different/unique flavors to choose from. My favorite is the Buffalo blue boneless. The service is spot on, the servers are always extremely helpful. The Wallingford location has a ton of space and even an upstairs area for parties.”

“The prices for the food are great and the garlic knots are to die for. The dining room is very noisy but I can get past it, they're busy and popular so to be expected. I can't stop thinking about the garlic knots. I got the burrata salad with chicken and it was all incredible. The food also came out super quick given how packed it was there on a Saturday night.”

“I'm a sucker for a good grilled cheese, and Melted Madness did not disappoint! The variety on their menu is impressive, especially how they incorporated so many vegetarian and vegan options into the mix! Their Buffalo chicken grilled cheese was one of my favorites because it tasted exactly like Buffalo chicken dip! I also really liked the signature "Melted Madness" which had a layer of melted cheese on the outside of the bread! All of the appetizers we tried were delicious, and I was glad to see the majority of them were made in house. Great milkshakes and seltzers, and save room for their sweet grilled cheeses or knafeh for dessert. The owner was welcoming and we noticed how she took extra time to talk with customers, and her staff was just as friendly. The food came out quickly, and I just loved the vibe of the place with the walls even looking like melted cheese. Literally a cheese paradise!”

“The Oreo milk tea was good. I got the crème brûlée mini crepe and it was yum and sweet! It’s not a traditional crepe instead a Japanese version which tastes a bit different so keep that in mind. Overall a good experience.”
