“You know you’re going to have good food when the servers get excited about your menu decisions. Everything was absolutely wonderful. We got to sit at the bar with a direct view of the kitchen. I don’t know if the octopus or the truffle dumpling was my favorite, but I know I’m getting both when I go back. The whole fried snapper had a delicious light breading. The duck noodles were tasty too; I will probably try to get it spicier next time. I’ll likely be back in a couple of weeks. I’m still thinking about the food. Also, this husband-wife team perfected my experience by ensuring such excellent service. They need to teach a workshop to other restauranteurs.“

“Brunch menu on their website hadn’t been updated, it’s now 75 minutes for bottomless brunch but the website says 90. They also wouldn’t give our table more than 1 brunch menu, but then the food on their website menu is wrong so you can’t even reliably reference that. Food was great, but you should order the bulk up front rather than trying to do multiple rounds because things can take up to 30 minutes to come out.“

“Visited Philippe's this past Saturday night and was immediately greeted with such warmth. Andrea made my old fashion to perfection and she was willing to help with anything we needed. We didn't want much to eat so we just got the calamari 9/10, the veggie lettuce wrap 9/10 and the beef lettuce wrap 10/10. When Andrea left for the night, Ponce picked up right where she left off and took great care of us. We later sparked a conversation of the manager George and Sadi, who were both very welcoming. I look forward to more late nights, happy hours and dinners with the girls here at Philippe's at the Wharf!“

“This place has definitely improved.It use to smell really bad but that has changed. The menu changed and for the better. The popcorn chicken is really good, as well as the orange and fish! The friend rice isn’t great. The mango chicken has way too much sauce. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place.“

“The most affordable, fast and tasty lunch option in the area. It’s a family-owned spot with great lunch specials and options for vegetarians. Highly recommend. It’s more of a takeout spot, but they have a few seats if you need to eat lunch in house“

“This was the first time here, and it was nice, but this location is very, very small. It has a total of like 10 tables and 10 seats at the bar. The food and service were very good and fast. We had a selection of dumplings, noodle dishes, buns, noodle soups, and unlimited drinks. I want to try some of the other locations.“

“While the food at NeqBigWong was satisfying after a long night of live music, the overall experience was marred by the behavior of other patrons. Unfortunately, the staff seemed overwhelmed by the unruly and intoxicated crowd, which led to a tense and unpleasant atmosphere.
We narrowly avoided witnessing a physical altercation as we were about to place our order. It's clear that the staff is doing their best to maintain a positive environment, but the disruptive behavior of some customers is creating a challenging work environment.

“The ONLY place in DC I get chinese food from. They have massive portions and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I always get lo mein, seasame chicken, wonton soup and a taro boba tea. “Kenny’s is a really solid carry out. The food is good. Not a ton of space to sit, which is typical of most Chinese food spots in this region. What stands out most about Kenny’s is the service. Unlike others, they don’t treat their customers like criminals, or like they’re afraid of us. The door to the back area is frequently opened. The employees greet me with a smile every time and ask me how my day is going. They remember me. They’re really kind and respectful, and as a black man, it’s rare to get that kind of service at a carry out. They usually just yell and poke food through bullet proof glass like they’re feeding sharks. It’s great to be treated like a fellow human being. I recommend the donuts. They’re super addictive!“

“Takeout only. Cash only. You can call ahead to place a pickup order. Wide variety of food options. It's delicious, great size portions, and the prices aren't bad. This is the only Chinese food I eat within the DMV, I will, and I have traveled over an hour to get food from them.“
