“We stopped by over the weekend only because we were too early to be where we needed to be. My youngest daughter has cancer and wasn’t really feeling well. We were sat at a table, thought everything was fine, but she didn’t want the chairs (hip surgery, legs were hurting) So we asked for a high chair and still no, then a booth and she was finally comfortable! I was so overwhelmed but the young women working were being so sweet and without even a second look they were accommodating. We thought our girl wouldn’t eat, but she asked for bacon and she said it was the best bacon! All of our food was amazing, even though we had to speed eat to get to where we needed to be. I really couldn’t be more thankful and appreciative for how we were treated, I was at my breaking point and ended up leaving with a very happy family. Thank you!”

“We visited River & Post last night for the first time for a birthday dinner after hearing so many good things, and I can honestly say the praise was very well deserved. Everything from the quality and timeliness of our meals to the friendly, informative and attentive servers were exceptional, which sadly is not a common trait in upscale restaurants. I had the Broiled Ocean Platter which consisted of broiled mahi, three sea scallops and four large shrimp served in a citrus herb beurre blanc sauce, whipped potatoes and beautiful crisp tender veggies. All of my entre ingredients were cooked perfectly, the buttery lemon sauce was such a nice compliment to this dish and let all the distinct flavors of each seafood component shine. Too often sauces can be overpowering and used to moisten overcooked and flavorless seafood. I’m glad I opted out of a predinner salad or appetizer as this entre is very substantial and I wanted to save some room for dessert. My husband also very much enjoyed his choice of the Seared Filet Mignon served a mustard demi-glace, confit potatoes and sauteed broccolini. The steak was perfectly prepared to his medium rare request and he raved about how flavorful it was. Both of our meals arrived hot, beautifully plated, and we devoured them completely. Then the decision came for dessert. Since we were sharing, we opted for the wonderfully decadent Chocolate Mousse Torte. This torte could easily be called “Death by Chocolate” due to its intense deep chocolate flavor which had a more silken fudge like consistency than a typical fluffy mousse, but still seemed surprisingly light as the chocolate just melted in our mouths. The torte was served with a chocolate drizzle, freshly whipped cream and plump blackberries. What a wonderful finish to this birthday dinner! Thank you, R&P, for this great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we won’t be waiting for the next birthday to do so.”

“One year ago we lost a very dear friend, co-worker, family member and loved one! We went to seasons 52 to celebrate his life and brought with us (his ashes). The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! Our server Jessica was excellent and all the servers that came to the table paid attention to detail. The most impressive part of the evening was the impeccable style of chef Justin. We had the 6 courses chef’s adventure tasting menu and I cannot say enough about the cuisine. The harmony of flavors and the mastery of technique with the plating presentation was magnificent. The chef came to the table to explain each plate that was presented. He’s very knowledgeable regarding the dishes he prepares and you could see his personality come through in the way the dishes were plated and the flavors that came through with each plate. With the cuisine Justin is preparing this restaurant could be a Michelin star restaurant in notime. By the way I am gluten free so the chef had to make changes to my dishes only. I cannot say enough on how much we enjoyed the entire evening. We will definitely be visiting Matthew’s again.”

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.”

“Every month, we take our dog to be groomed, and since it’s quite a drive from our house, we always look for a coffee shop to relax in while we wait. Today, we discovered Sweet Peaches Coffee on Baymeadows Road near San Jose, and what a find it was! The food and drinks were fantastic, and the laid-back yet cool vibe of the place made it an instant favorite. I enjoyed a delicious mocha chiller, while my husband opted for a generously-sized cup of chocolate milk. For breakfast, I had a flavorful sausage, egg, and cheese English muffin, and my husband’s breakfast burrito looked absolutely amazing—he loved it! The service was outstanding—both the barista and the lady who brought out our food greeted us with warm smiles and a very friendly demeanor. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The café wasn’t crowded, the seating was super comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. We’re already planning to come back soon to try their macarons and cupcakes, which looked incredible in the display case. Sweet Peaches Coffee has definitely earned a spot on our list of go-to places. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food, great coffee, friendly service, and a relaxing vibe!”

“We visited River & Post last night for the first time for a birthday dinner after hearing so many good things, and I can honestly say the praise was very well deserved. Everything from the quality and timeliness of our meals to the friendly, informative and attentive servers were exceptional, which sadly is not a common trait in upscale restaurants. I had the Broiled Ocean Platter which consisted of broiled mahi, three sea scallops and four large shrimp served in a citrus herb beurre blanc sauce, whipped potatoes and beautiful crisp tender veggies. All of my entre ingredients were cooked perfectly, the buttery lemon sauce was such a nice compliment to this dish and let all the distinct flavors of each seafood component shine. Too often sauces can be overpowering and used to moisten overcooked and flavorless seafood. I’m glad I opted out of a predinner salad or appetizer as this entre is very substantial and I wanted to save some room for dessert. My husband also very much enjoyed his choice of the Seared Filet Mignon served a mustard demi-glace, confit potatoes and sauteed broccolini. The steak was perfectly prepared to his medium rare request and he raved about how flavorful it was. Both of our meals arrived hot, beautifully plated, and we devoured them completely. Then the decision came for dessert. Since we were sharing, we opted for the wonderfully decadent Chocolate Mousse Torte. This torte could easily be called “Death by Chocolate” due to its intense deep chocolate flavor which had a more silken fudge like consistency than a typical fluffy mousse, but still seemed surprisingly light as the chocolate just melted in our mouths. The torte was served with a chocolate drizzle, freshly whipped cream and plump blackberries. What a wonderful finish to this birthday dinner! Thank you, R&P, for this great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we won’t be waiting for the next birthday to do so.”

It was our daughters 16th birthday and chose TCCF. Nearly a fifty mile trip from our very rural town. Myron made our experience even better with exceptional service and by presenting our daughter with a magnificently decorated " Birthday Platter", of cheesecake and a hot fudge Sunday with lit candles. My kids experience was top notch. The food was great and deserves 5 stars, in addition, Myron deserves all the stars in our galaxy for making our very reserved daughters 16th birthday even better than anticipated.

“We purchased an XL Pepperoni Magnifico. When we got it home, it was one of the greasiest pizzas I've ever seen (the inside bottom of the box was covered with grease). It was also one of the best tasting pizzas we've had in a long time. Even with all of the grease, the bottom of the crust still maintained its texture. And the pepperoni tasted like pepperoni is supposed to taste - full of flavor.
