“We went in on a whim, we were in the process of buying a car, we found this place. We actually went somewhere else and they were too busy. We had good food and service. It is off the beaten path but definitely worth the walk. Parking isn't abundant but again I would walk a couple blocks to get there.“
“Incredible food with impeccable service were the hallmarks of an evening at Crush XI. We were a group of 7, and shared plates of the Medjool dates and a special-of-the-night oxtail empanada appetizers. I followed this with the chicken, artichoke, mushroom fettucine, and the group wrapped up the evening by sharing each of the 4 dessert options available that night.I can honestly say that each item ranks among the best food I’ve had anywhere. If you are anywhere near Melbourne, make sure to make a stop. Come hungry, they don’t skimp on the portion sizes.Parking: Parking, especially street parking, can be challenging in season. “Been wanting to stop here but since they close at 2 pm I always miss my opportunity. lolToday being out on PTO, decided to treat myself to lunch so I stopped in. “This was my first visit to Pub Americana on New Haven in Melbourne. We were at a party of 17 ladies from our condo. The food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. But the best part of the experience was our server, Morgan. She single-handedly served 17 ladies lunch and did it as though she were serving a table of four. Her professionalism and attentiveness were absolutely wonderful! Morgan made our first experience at Pub Americana one to remember. Thank you, Morgan! (We will definitely be coming back!)“

“Ember & Oak has become my fiance and I favorite place. The first time we went, we fell in love. The food is amazing and the service is perfection. My mom came to visit and she can be hard to please. She has worked at some very fancy clubs and restaurants with wonderful chef's and now Ember & Oak is her favorite place when she visits. She has told my whole family I spoiled her when it comes to steak no other place can compare.“
“We stopped by Chef's Table for an impromptu Friday night dinner, fully expecting to sit in the bar area as we arrived at peak dinner time with no reservation. Instead we were seated at the chef's counter and had a great time watching the kitchen work hard to prepare plate after plate of tasty looking food. Our server and sommelier Marc provided excellent service, despite being extremely busy and all the other staff were also attentive and friendly. We had the appetizer special of a delicious burrata and warm tomato salad then the scallops with risotto and a new york strip with asparagus for our entrees. Knowing we were planning on splitting our food, Marc arranged for us to get a beautiful sharing board. A huge shout out to chefs Brian and Phoenix for such a treat! Everything was cooked extremely well and seasoned perfectly. We hadn't been to Chef's Tabl for a while but we will certainly be adding them into our rotation after this fantastic meal.“
“Did a quick night away and stayed at the Rialto. Had dinner here and it was good. I ordered the salmon and it was amazing! It had a yellow curry sauce with jasmine rice. My husband ordered the peppercorn steak and it was not the best cut of steak so would not recommend that. The cook was perfect and the potatoes were fabulous along with the broccolini, though. Service was fast and friendly. The lava cake was to die for! Also had an espresso martini!“
“Being from tampa, finding good tacos in melb has been a mission ?. Literally best pork belly (barbacoa style )tacos in the area. At first I was sad they only came in flour. But the taco gods have answered my prayers. Salty now has corn tortillas ??? vibes are pretty cool as well.“
“A friend and I ate there yesterday. The food and service were excellent. Since covid, this Sonnys has been very hit or miss, and because of this, I haven't eaten here quite as often. In the past, you would be standing at the front to be seated, and nobody would acknowledge you standing there. After about 10 minutes I would leave with my group of friends. I heard many other people say the same thing. Also, they don't let you order ahead and eat in their dining room when you get there, you can only order to go and take it with you. That doesn't help when you are on your lunch break and have limited time with your coworkers. After covid, the food took a long time to come out of their kitchen. So, they have lost a lot of business by not being able to seat people and then taking a long time to get their food out for the past few years. I hope the experience I received yesterday is the new norm so I can start going there more often. I love Sonnys food when it is cooked and served correctly. My rating is based on yesterday's experience. I took off a star for my past experience. Had I rated them in the past, it would be a zero star rating if I could.“
“We made reservations online. The hostess, Carmen, was helpful when I called to confirm and let her know it was a surprise birthday dinner, so 3 of us would be arriving 15 minutes later than birthday guests. Unfortunately, the person at the front when we checked in (not Carmen) blew the surprise by asking if we were the "party of 8". It all worked out though, as our son did not have enough time to process her words before we arrived at the table, and he was surprised to see his friends. Will, our server, was fun, entertaining, and happy to share birthday cheer, as his birthday is just a couple days before our son's!“
“We’ve heard about the Mansion since moving to Melbourne and finally had a chance to check it out. I had the Blackened Salmon BLT on Ciabatta which was incredibly good. Another member of our group had the Florentine BLT which If you’ve never seen one is ginormous. We also had the Loaded Mansion Nachos with chicken which is a mountain on a plate. Chicken was cooked perfect and there was an abundance of pico and queso and black beans. Incredible. We’ll be back—highly recommend!“
“Hemingway's Tavern is always a good experience. We always enjoy the decorations and lively atmosphere, but be warned it can get quite noisy. For those with noise sensitivity, I suggest to sit outside or find another restaurant. Shout out to our server, Sai: he was easy going and attentive.We started with the Smoked Fish Dip, a favorite, and pairs nicely with the locally brewed beer, Intracoastal Dragon Point. I had the Key West Bowl with pulled pork. Everything was delicious. My husband decided for the Big Game burger, which was perfectly grilled, but the most impressive dish was my mom's. She ordered the Osso Bucco. It was beautifully plated, the pork was fork tender and delicious. The mashed potato and veggies rounded out the meal perfectly. It was a very generous serving, easily feeding 2 people. It was pricey, $32, but worth it and we had left-overs for another meal.We'll definitely dine here again. The food and service has been consistently good. It can get quite busy; we arrived just before 5 and we were seated right away, but within the hour it was filling up quickly.“
