“I just visited Oceans And Acre at Halcyon, Alpharetta, GA today, for brunch and was amazed by the service and quality of food. The manager on duty was phenomenal! I wanted a quick bite before a business meeting, and he offered several options that really hit the spot, and was tailored to my personal taste palette. Following his lead the bar tender then crafted a well deserved concoction that perfectly complimented my meal. Exceptionally friendly service, attention to detail, chill environment reasonable prices, Oceans & Acres at Halcyon Alpharetta, Ga is a hit!“

“The quality of the food is top notch. The facility has a cool vibe to it with the high ceilings, open kitchen, and large bar. Iirc, the wine racks are a throwback to the original FSE. Our waitress Nei (sp?) really knew the menu and made great recommendations on pairings of food. The seating area is rather open and can be noisy. The portions are appropriate for your meal, and there were no leftovers at our table. Prices are on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. We will be back. 💯“

“We had a nice experience overall at Village Tavern. There was a mix-up with our peanut allergy note on the reservation, but the manager and our server were both really nice and got the situation corrected quickly, which we really appreciated.

The food was mostly great — the French onion soup was flavorful, and the calamari had a good spicy kick. The mac and cheese was so good with that crispy breading on top. The steak and asparagus were cooked well, and the sweet potato fries were tasty, though a little too sweet — they really don’t need extra sugar. The mashed potatoes had good flavor but could’ve been a bit creamier.

The martinis were good. The water had a strange taste, the Sprite tasted more like 7UP, and the glassware was a bit sticky, which was noticeable.

Overall, good food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. The staff handled our allergy situation really well, which made the visit much better. A few small details could be improved, but we’d come back again.“

“I've been going to Firebirds since I was introduced to this restaurant in 2022 & it's the best food tasting, atmospheric calmness, beautiful staff that you could dream of. I take myself & friends to this place QUIET OFTEN!!! Taking myself to lunch or dinner, sitting at the bar or having a table is the best experience you can give yourself & others. “Sat at the bar for happy hour, and the bar staff did their thing. Provided top-notch service to everyone. The appetizers were good; we had calamari, lobster bites, oysters, and steak bites (although I'm not sure of the exact name of the dish, it was seasoned well). There was a small band that reminded me of the dinner shows; it wasn't jazz, but more like the style of Frank Sinatra back in the day. I will definitely go back for dinner, as there are many items on the menu worth trying.“

I know how hard restaurant work is, and I’ve always appreciated the care the staff put in. But our most recent experience left us disappointed. The service was unexpectedly inattentive. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, but our server never returned to refill our glasses. A French fry order was forgotten, and when we asked about it, things seemed to unravel. The server was visibly exasperated. A supervisor eventually stepped in, handled things professionally, and assigned a new server—but by then the mood had shifted. This wasn’t just any lunch—it was a farewell meal with a dear friend leaving town, and I’d hoped for a flawless experience. At over $230, I expected more attentive service. I don’t share this lightly. Connors has been a place we’ve enjoyed many times. But this visit left me disappointed, and I won’t be returning anytime soon. “Tonight was our first visit to VAS. It certainly won’t be our last… our server, Vita, was engaging, polite, and an absolute joy to be around. She was courteous, prompt, and kept our table sparkling clean and our drinks filled at all times. Sydney, the manager was friendly and made us feel like family. “My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town & wanted some catfish. As I was doing my google restaurant search, I came across this place. The reviews are 100% accurate. It is super cozy & homelike upon arriving. I like how small it is as it makes it a more intimate setting. There was parking right by the door as well. There were so many options on the menu, that I didn’t even know what to pick. All sounded so good. I got the crawfish mac & cheese and it was perfectly creamy, cheesy , and delicious. As far as my meal, I got the blackened catfish, shrimp, and sweet potato risotto. The seafood was grilled to perfection along with their sauces making it more flavorful. I also love how it is freshly cooked to order. For the season & dessert, I got the pumpkin stuffed beignets. Sweet but not overly sweet and the whip cream made it better. I can’t wait to come back as the service was great. And the staff was friendly.“

“This place is good if you have a craving for chinese food. I wanted to go somewhere near where I work where there was good Chinese food tjat was not Panda Express. This place hit the spot. I called the restaurant to place my order to go and it was very fast and easy. The lady, who also gave me my order at the restaurant I assume, was very nice and polite. My order was ready when I got there. I ordered egg rolls and the lunch portion of the chicken and rice. I loved the chicken and vegetables, but the fried rice was a little bland but it balanced out when combined with the chicken and vegetables. They also gave a healthy portion for the amount I paid. I gave a 4 out of 5 because of the take out box and the fried rice. It was seeping out from the sides and it was hard to eat without it getting on my scrubs. I was eating in my car by the way. My bill came out to 16.95 + tip. So all in all its a good place to come to if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant with good customer service, fast service and tasty food.“

“I have ordered delivery a few times. Food is delicious. Cooked perfect. Not overly salty or seasoned like other places. The egg drop soup taste like the authentic restaurant I use to go to as a kid. Very good. Reasonably priced and gracious portions. I have plenty left over for 2 more meals.“

“This place is really good. I got a poke bowl with fresh ingredients. It was absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I was so happy that they gave me a sample of glass noodles. I've never tried it before at other poke companies but the glass noodles are delicious. They have some unique items on the menu. I love this place.

Parking: You do have to pay to park unfortunately. That's the only downside. The cheapest option is 3 something for one hour so customers do feel rushed“
