“This is my favorite place to get fish and chips on the island. I make it a point to go at least once every time I come to the Big Island. My friend had the crab cakes and said they were delicious, as well. Fair prices and yummy food. There is a gazebo with ample seating if you choose to sit by the man-made lake and enjoy your treats. Be aware of the birds who have obviously been fed by previous patrons-they don't really bother you, but they do fly around and sometimes give you the side-eye for not feeding them.Parking: Lots of parking for the Kings Shopping centerKid-friendliness: They have a small Keiki menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get to the restaurant.“
“My son’s and my food order was excellent. However, the server who assisted us was in my opinion, the worst I’ve ever had. I won’t offer any problems either food but if this young lady waits on you, you can hardly wait to leave! As you might expect, her tip was $0.00.“
“Cute little shop on the Big Island! Tons of food choices for meals and great pricing. The food was very good! My chow mein was good, but the fried rice was my personal favorite! Family said the Pork Lumpia was very good as well. Great place if looking for quick Asian food, as the food came very fast. My only complaint is the frequent yelling and the person at the front often was in the back for long periods of time when customers came in. Would return, however!“
“Besides the screaming child for what seemed like eternity (come on parents, do better-not a place I would take a cranky toddler and if I did, I'd have some courtesy and take the kiddo away after unsuccessfully calming the child so the other diners could enjoy their adult meal), it was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic and even had a couple of whales frolicking off shore! I'd definitely go again!“
“Nice setting, poolside with ocean view. Server was very nice and attentive. Service was excellent, no complaints there. Mahi with macadamia nuts was a disappointing, rubbery small portion and bland seasoning. Vegetables were cooked perfectly, rice fluffy. Wedge salad had very little blue cheese and bacon, adequate size, basic and boring. Price average for resort setting. Food needs to improve to match service.“
“We have always started and ended our vacation with roy's. Why? The staff is consistent, the food - off the chart and it is always a treat to be helped by Arnie's team. They recognize the r&rs (regulars and returns) and you are made to feel like family. Courtney is the bomb...she gets it as do the other bartenders...we love to mix the happy hour menu with full menu. Such good food. We leave thinking we cant wait to return.“
