“I've never had shabushabu before and it was amazing! So many choices of everything! It's buffet and ridiculously delicious. So much food and so healthy too. Good idea to go for lunch because it's cheaper than dinner. And they were so kind to let me and my friend sit as long as we wanted. The service was wonder. I will definitely be back!”

“My Friend and I ordered corn beef hash. DA Bes in town. Friend wanted his eggs soft scrambled. Our waitress, Rhea, knew exactly how it's made as many establishments overcook them. She said she would inform the cook. They were served exactly as my friend, Bob, wanted. Great service even with a full house. We will become regulars for sure!!!!!”

“Good selection of food options. Not the best bbq chicken or bulgogi that I’ve ever had, but I do have to say the sides were absolutely delicious. My personal preference is thinner sliced cucumber for cucumber kimchi, but that’s just me. The lady working in the front was extremely friendly and kind. The place is really small and driving by you could easily miss it.”

“Is a nice little dessert shop in Wahiawa. I ordered a Green River Shake from them and it tasted just as amazing as it looks. It had an old school home made taste to it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is craving something sweet and to anyone who is tired of McDonald's having their ice cream machine broken.”

“Had dinner here last night. The food was great. I had the Bruja Rice Bowl with shredded beef and my husband had the chimichanga. Both plates were delicious! The red sauce that goes on the chimichanga is so good I was pouring it over my bowl too. Chips and salsa are complimentary and the guacamole is GOOD! Music was pleasant and made you want to dance a little. The owner is so friendly and sweet. He mentioned he will also be open on holidays which is so great for families that need somewhere to go or don’t want to cook. Try this place out and get to know the owner, you will not regret it.”

“My husband and I Read about this place through the support 808 page and saw they offered porkroll and scrapple. For a born and raised South Jersey girl, finding those on this island is heaven! We ordered a couple of Hoagies for lunch and porkroll and scrapple and pickles too! Definitely a place we will be often! Reminds me of a good stop to take hoagies to go when going down the shore! Thank you for the bottom on my heart for sharing a taste of home! The Hoagies were exactly right for East Coast sub shop! I almost went back to get pizza for dinner too!”

“This is the best donuts place in town. William knows his “fundamentals” & that’s why the simplest item like butter rolls are soft yet chewy with a golden crust. Also compare his glazed donuts to others you can get from the supermarket & you will never go back.”

Nuis stays true and that's why the food taste and looks different than most.Nui is very accomadating and work with what you want, food doesnt taste greasy like most, and all the dishes are complimented with a healthy serving of good for you veggies! “We had a great experience here. Hugh was very friendly and suggested delicious dishes. We started with the chicken wings which were super crispy! Then we had two types of pho, lemongrass chicken and teriyaki chicken. Everything was tasty and the portions were generous.”

However as the night goes on the trash gets played, Buck Cherry and Creed are absolutely shite to listen to... I really dislike the jukebox/how it's setup.”

Feb 11th, 2025 They're focused on the sandwich, making that they don't pay attention , obvious he's done it before. Other than that, everything else was good.”

“I like how HiBlend is on Scholfield. It’s a great place to go get food after work. Every time I go to HiBlend, I get a good vibe from everyone who works there. Definitely enjoy the small talk with them, every nice people. Though I am a big fan of their smoothies and açaí bowl, there are many great options to order from. HiBlend is definitely fan favorite here on post.”

Its not a fancy place, just a simple, hometown spot, but i gave them 5 stars for 5 reasons.#1 Consistency - What i ate many years ago tastes the same every time we went including today. Im not left scratching my head figuring they changed cooks again. If they did, I didn’t notice. What makes me so sure? I eat the SAME THING every time.#2 Accuracy- They have never messed up my order. Nothing different, nothing missing, I get what I ordered. Utensils too.#3 Hot Food- I paid higher prices at places 5 minutes away from my house that left me feeling cold. Literally. Not here though.#3 Communication- They answer the phone quickly, I understand what they are saying and they understand me. Pleasant.#4 Convenience- Fast Service. Good location. Good parking. I always need medication picked up at Longs so picking up a meal at the same time makes it easy.#5 Local Business- Always support local.My personal favorite is always the Honey Garlic Chicken plate with all white rice. Nice,Sweet Honey sauce with perfect amount of garlic, not overpowering and Crispy juicy Chicken. Very flavorful. Good portions. My husband enjoys the homemade hamburger steak with onions and requested gravy all over everything. Fries are crinkle cut. They are decent. Good selection of other different plate lunches as well with pictures. If you haven’t been, we recommend this humble spot in Wahiawa.”

“We thought we would try this place after reading reviews. The place is a real hole in the wall but the food was delicious! We wanted to try the meat jun so ordered the combination and the squid jun - both really onolicious and so much food that it fed 6 of us - 2 teens, 2 middle aged and 2 seniors with leftovers enough for a meal for 2!”
