“My Friend and I ordered corn beef hash. DA Bes in town. Friend wanted his eggs soft scrambled. Our waitress, Rhea, knew exactly how it's made as many establishments overcook them. She said she would inform the cook. They were served exactly as my friend, Bob, wanted. Great service even with a full house. We will become regulars for sure!!!!!”

“We had the seafood combo, the teriyaki steak bowl, double cheeseburger deluxe, chicken sandwich and two orders of fries , 3 fountain drinks and a coconut water. Steak bowl was small but it was very filling. Burger was huge and so was the chicken sandwich. Seafood combo was delicious. Definitely recommend”

I really wish they would have given some type of a brief presentation of how coffee is grown and the process for turning it into coffee grounds.”

“Our family of five stopped in for breakfast and were blown away! The food was absolutely phenomenal—every dish was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service was top-notch, with such friendly and efficient staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. And the portion sizes? Insane (in the best way)! We left full and still had plenty to take home and enjoy the next day. Highly recommend this spot if you’re anywhere near Wahiawā!”

“I had such a great experience at 2 Mom Kitchen! The meat jun was tender, & flavorful, and the bibimbap was fresh, & colorful. The lady at the counter welcomed me with such kindness. While it’s not a full sit-down restaurant, there’s a small table with three chairs where you can wait comfortably for your order. And the free street parking makes stopping by so easy. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu.”

“The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant was an unexpected find. We try to find non-touristy and local restaurants. It’s about 35 minutes from Honolulu. Annika (sp?) was a wonderful server. She answered all our questions, gave perfect suggestions and was very attentive. The food was delicious and had leftovers (we ordered a lot). We had crab rangoons & the soft won tons as appetizers. Pat ordered the General Tso’s Chicken Plate and half Roasted Duck, which he LOVED. I ordered the Pepper Garlic Pork Chop (DELICIOUS!!) and Hawaiian Fried Rice. I asked for sau-sau-an (sp? a type of Filipino vinegar garlic dipping sauce), which added to the taste of the pork. The Ube Ice Cream was a delicious surprise. The reason for the 4 stars for food is because the fried rice was a little overcooked. If we were staying longer, we would go to it a few more times. If you get a chance to go, you won’t be sorry.”

“Is a nice little dessert shop in Wahiawa. I ordered a Green River Shake from them and it tasted just as amazing as it looks. It had an old school home made taste to it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is craving something sweet and to anyone who is tired of McDonald's having their ice cream machine broken.”

“Had dinner here last night. The food was great. I had the Bruja Rice Bowl with shredded beef and my husband had the chimichanga. Both plates were delicious! The red sauce that goes on the chimichanga is so good I was pouring it over my bowl too. Chips and salsa are complimentary and the guacamole is GOOD! Music was pleasant and made you want to dance a little. The owner is so friendly and sweet. He mentioned he will also be open on holidays which is so great for families that need somewhere to go or don’t want to cook. Try this place out and get to know the owner, you will not regret it.”

My only complaint the jukebox can eat shit it's annoying that you may drop $10-20 to never hear you song play (unless you pay triple). Early in the night patrons play banger after banger of you like metal....

However as the night goes on the trash gets played, Buck Cherry and Creed are absolutely shite to listen to... I really dislike the jukebox/how it's setup.”

“My husband and I Read about this place through the support 808 page and saw they offered porkroll and scrapple. For a born and raised South Jersey girl, finding those on this island is heaven! We ordered a couple of Hoagies for lunch and porkroll and scrapple and pickles too! Definitely a place we will be often! Reminds me of a good stop to take hoagies to go when going down the shore! “Another Wahiawa Gem! Was waiting at another Chinese restaurant for them to open and got impatient and wound up here. Was only craving egg rolls and crispy gaugee. The price here is .99 per piece which is way cheaper than most Chinese restaurants in Hawaii. I got a clam shell full with a side of hot mustard and oh my goodness… I’ve had gaugee and egg rolls from just about everywhere and this has been the best I’ve had on island! Can’t believe I’ve passed this place over and over. Will be taking my family back (tonight haha) mahalo”

Yes I have been to Thailand, I'd say 95% of the Thai food on island is the American Thai, toned downed, cookie cutter vetsions cause most peeps cant handle the real stuff! Nuis stays true and that's why the food taste and looks different than most.Nui is very accomadating and work with what you want, food doesnt taste greasy like most, and all the dishes are complimented with a healthy serving of good for you veggies! “Old school Wahiawa Korean restaurant thats been around seemingly forever thats known for their meat jun. The original owners arent there anymore so maybe thats why the taste is a bit different nowdays. Still good but not like I remember. Service is typical of Korean restaurants.... Gotta flag them down if you want something.

Post covid hours have changed so they close very early now. Been just ordering to go, and as a common rule wherever i go I check my order before I leave🤙A generous 4 stars.”
