“Food- Food had good flavor and was quickly delivered. I wish the bacon was a little thicker, but it was flavorful. Waffle is made well and does not fall apart.Service- Would of given 5 stars, but 1 order was forgotten. They were nice though, and everything else was very promptly delivered.Atmosphere- Overall the place gives good island vibes. Has a fair amount of seating, especially for the size. But I'd have a hard time giving more then 3 because of the temperature. It is very warm, both me and my daughter were sweating while eating.“

“I decided to come here due to the reviews on YELP and it looked delicious so I said why not?The service is very very welcoming right away was hit with 2 people coming over to where I sat down and offered me the menu, pickled cucumber. Then the little sides came first.The meat came next and it was all well cooked. But the miso soup that was the wow factor. I devoured everything it was all very delicious. The sauce as well I believe she said it was a garlic / ginger sauce. But it elevated the meat and veggies.The atmosphere is chill no loud music, just sound of the cook cooking and people talking but not loud.Parking: The parking garage is hard to find but due to there being construction I missed it the first time but I found it the second time around. “It was a nice surprise to have lunch here with family! We grabbed a strawberry yuzu soda, one of the specials, local beets salad, and the toast and Fete spreads to share. The soda was more so a juice consistency, topped with dried citrus for a zing and was both tasty and refreshing. We all loved the salad with fresh beets, arugula, and fried scallions. It was nice that it was a serving big enough for 3 people to share, too! As for our entrees, we tried a tuna salad sandwich, the lemon zucchini risotto, and fried chicken with a side of collard greens. Large portions! We didn't care for the tuna salad sandwich, it was a big sandwich with a hamburger bun and some bacon, but just was not what we wanted.. The lemon zucchini risotto on the other hand....it wowed us Fried chicken came with a spicy tomato jam that was yummy, and chicken was nice and tender. A little bit oily but otherwise nice crunchy skin. Decided to share a strawberry fennel sorbet for dessert walking back and it was very flavorful with equal blend of both. All in all we ended up very full and satisfied from our lunch here. Less than $120 for 3 people 3 meals 2 apps and drinks was not bad at all! We enjoyed almost everything we tried and liked the creativity of the menu as well as the fresh and organic ingredients used. Looking forward to trying more!“

“Southern love is a true gem, especially in the Southern food desert of Hawai’i. We tried the fried okra, fried catfish plate, rib plate, and peach cobbler for dessert…and they all were stellar. The sides especially did not disappoint, and those are my favorite part of Southern food (we tried the baked beans and collard greens, and loved the homemade cornbread too). It’s perfect for a casual date night to watch the chef cook right in front of you, or perfect for take out. But make sure to eat it fresh, because the breading on their fried goods is top notch and shouldn’t be wasted. Mahalo for such a wonderful and comforting culinary experience!“

“All right guys, let's be real! Yelp... you really did trick me. Long story short, we were actually supposed to go to a different pho location, however, they were having renovations. I ended up stumbling on this location through using yelp, and, of course, filtering it down to ratings and this one popped up at 5 stars. When we got to the location, we noticed that it was really really busy. However, a customer flagged us down because she was done with her table and told us to take her table. The menu is simple and of course I didn't understand it but I knew that I wanted to eat something and try new things considering we've been eating at the same pho location way to often. We ended up ordering beef stew, bao bun, pho, and wonton. As we sat to wait for our food, we had noticed that there were so many people coming in to pick up food as well as having formed a line out the door. We got our food and realized that it was strictly VEGAN!!! I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not like I won't try it however, this girl was talking so much about how she can't wait to eat steak and eat a fat bahn mi! But OK I'm the real my most favorite item here was the bao. With the slightly sweet bun and all that flavor from the veggies it was really good. The beef stew was very flavorful but with a tinge of lemongrass flavor that I was not keen about. The wonton wasn't that bad. It actually had taro, peas, corn and carrots. The dipping sauce was more like a mild salsa. The pho was pretty tasty with a little kick of pepper. The "vegan meat" in there was to noticeable with not being meat so that was hard to swallow. Would we come here again? Yes I would without my husband and with my vegan friends LOL. It's the flavor of everything that made me enjoy it. Oh and the friendly aunties was really nice.“

Breakfast scramble. Even freshly made donuts and chocolate chip cookies (wheat).
