“Very first time visiting Papa Murphys. Site was a tad complicated but with patience I got through it. When we went to pick it up I walked in and was confused but the gentleman was patient and pointed to where I could grab my pizza. I apologized and he said ‘no big deal it happens all the time!’

“We had a fantastic experience at Monterey. The service was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Our food arrived incredibly fast, and the quality was amazing—everything came out hot and fresh. We also ordered margaritas, and they were perfect. They tasted amazing, had a great strong pour, and looked exactly like the picture advertised. I highly recommend this place if you want great drinks, delicious food, and fast service. We will definitely be back!”

“Great customer service. Our family went this afternoon to get smoothies. The girls working were polite and quick. My daughter dropped her smoothie on the ground and one girl promptly cleaned it up and the other girl made my daughter another one. I definitely didn't expect it but she was happy to. “Nice to have real food in the outlet! My husband and I ordered a lo mein and a beef and shrimp teriyaki. The portions were good and our 2yo toddler ate with us. Meat was tender. Veggies fresh and crunch. Everything was well seasoned and cooked. Staff was friendly, specially the guys at the grill. Fair price.”

“I usually come to this scooters and enjoy my caramelicious cold brew. But today was different, I ordered the new maple caramelicious cold brew to try. I was very excited! But when I got my coffee it was just cold brew, and the foam. No topping and no sweetness. I usually never go back and complain or request something different. But I knew this wasn't right, when I asked through the speaker box, the employee stated they were out of the toffee bits. But that does not explain why there was no caramel flavoring or drizzle. As someone who worked at a restaurant for years, my recommendation, is to just state the FYI before somebody confirms their order and payment. If I would not have ordered it knowing the main part of the drink was out of stalk. This is the only time I've had an issue at scooters. And I'll keep coming back. I just wanted to give this tip out to the staff, so this does not happen again.”

“We always enjoy having breakfast here! They are set up to let you place your order at the counter and then be seated and have it brought to you. You have a great breakfast set in front of you before most restaurants will be taking your order. And yet it is a relaxing atmosphere. We are never disappointed.”

Always the perfect amount of salt. Wish they would expand to our area. Keep it an Iowa only restaurant but bring it up north please!!”

“Broker listed this address for pickup, but when I got here I was directed to another cold storage warehouse for pickup 5 miles away. I'd call ahead and ask if you're picking up a reefer load about which warehouse to go to. The other warehouse had me in and out within an hour a few hours before my appointment time.”

“One of the few places in the Des Moines, IA area where you can get Cinnabons.
It's in a truck stop, so there's nothing to complain about the atmosphere. The service was not very communicative, but we got what we wanted.

Another food truck bailed on us last minute and Roadside Tacos helped pick up their slack and ended up serving more people than anticipated. No one left hungry. “This location is by far the best! Ashanti really helped me out on 04/17/26 at around 2:30 pm. She is the most courteous and helpful employees I have ever had in a long time! Really patient and made sure my order was done correctly. She definitely should be a Manager or trainer for other locations. “The pizza was good, but the service was amazing and listened to us when we brought up a concern of seizure warning about their prize balls. Makes me feel good about how they treat others since they took it seriously since multiple of the toys in there had flashing lights.”

“Came here for our Anniversary. Food was ok. I got the petite lobster tail. And believe me it is petite. The lobster tail was overcooked though and I prefer garlic butter with it and thought it was unusual to get oil with it. Service was great though. My wife got a steak and it was very tender. Garlic mashed potatoes were delicious.”

“Absolutely an incredible experience from the two guys that were working there on June 26th. First off I was blown away that this place was opened until 2 in the morning. From when I walked in to the time I left I was greeted and treated professionally. I don’t know why this place has such low reviews, but my Asian Zing traditional wings were incredible, probably some of the best I’ve ever had at BWW. I would highly recommend this place especially in the late evening that I went. Don’t know who the two gentlemen that were working, but they took great care of me.”

Service reflects the crowd. Service is a hit or miss. We been there 4 times now and twice had bad service (most just waiting a while for refills and taking away dirty plates) Still highly recommend this place!”
