“We ate at Ogawa today and will definitely be back! They have a huge menu. We got the Yum Yum Roll, Summer Hawaiian, hibachi chicken, and the honey chicken lunch box. Everything was delicious. The sushi plating was beautiful! Our service was prompt and he was so friendly to us and all of the other tables, as well.”
“My steak was so wonderful, cooked perfectly! Cali was a great server to have on a quick bite to eat. So glad we stumbled upon this place! PS Strawberry Cheesecake is 100% worth it.”
“This is a great small dive bar/sports bar. The employees are always nice. Small town bar feel. But they also have shows/ entertainment from music to comedy every once in a while as well. Also, it's home of a great brewery, so if you're into trying to beers, it's a good place to go. For the Food, they have my favorite Pineapple brats. Definitely recommend!”
“Got to sample several of their IN HOUSE brews and a whiskey of the week. I have to say I really did love the balance in the end results. The stout was exactly what one looks for WITHOUT being too sweet or thick. The Octoberfest was a) classic, exactly what you anticipate and b) intriguing with a fruity aroma that faded softly into the flavors background. Now I HATE IPA brews usually...to me they all too often taste like the smell of off bug spray. Think I'm lying, go buy a standard IPA six pack of anything. Spray a bit of Off bug spray on your arm note the flavor of the spray even in the air and then take a drink...the resemblance is uncanny..Ewww....he'll no lmao. But I tried their Blazing Jalapeño pineapple IPA...and it was fricken delicious. Not AT ALL spicy...but you get a subtle yet clearly identifiable jalapeño to offset the sweet pineapple. I'll certainly buy all these brews again.”
“A Surprise Find Inside The Sioux City Courtyard by Marriott -a Great Lunch Destination with Excellent Food…My Next Visit to Sioux City in December I look Forward to Enjoying The Weekend Eggs Benedict atBistro on 4th!”
“We love supporting local businesses!! They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and the beer is great!!! To top it off, the cost is below most chain bars!!! Great place !!”
“The service was fantastic, the food was….okay. We were expecting a little more pizazz for the price. It was nice to have such a large selection of vegan and plant based options, even it it was a bit underwhelming. The wasabi has more of a kick than most restaurants we’ve tried so that was a plus. Nice ambiance ”
“Always warms my heart when I visit a Godfather's Pizza and the place is just how I remember it. This location is no different. Was fun seeing families enjoy a Friday pie like I did when I was a kid. I no longer live in an area that features one so it's always a treat. Ordered ahead on the app and it was ready when I got there. The app doesn't allow you to order a drink with a dine in order, but the woman working behind the counter said just grab a cup and pour yourself a Coke. Needless to say I over tipped that night for both the nostalgia and the friendliness of the staff. I wish them well for many years to come.”
“I love Monterrey. Very affordable. I love how they have two locations on two sides of Sioux City, it’s very easy to access. I get the Beef Classic fajitas. Never can go wrong with their cheese dip! Tastes perfect with their chips and I even put some over my fajitas too! Very fast as well!”
“One of the best meals I had in a long time and I am not that big of fan of indian food. I highly recommend butter chicken, chicken tikka marsala, and garlic naan!”
“The food is the big draw hear. I myself have only had the Mississippi Pot Roast but it was so good. Plus all their other offerings look amazing. Nice to have some decent BBQ in Sioux City.”
“ALEX made my Valentine's Day early lunch so very special. The cheddar biscuits were even more heavenly than I remembered. Wonderful salmon & delicious brussel sprouts. Yes, I did check out our favorite spot from years ago.”
“Like most people, I love Toby Keith. One of his many hit, chart topping songs is called “I Love This Bar” and it HAS to be about Steinbeck’s Pub. This place was amazing. It had everything you could want. Cheap buckets of beer, nice bartenders and a jukebox full of Marvin Sease and Toby Keith songs. If I’m ever back in Sioux City, swinging by here is a must stop for me. Additionally, shout out to having clean bathrooms because I was able to snap a quick mirror selfie for the ‘gram.”
“4.0 While a nice crispy waffle, are definitely at best cornmeal waffles. Barely a taste of cornmeal, definitely not cornbread waffles. The bell peppers are red and the skins are all that's there, surmising the flesh disintegrated because so they used frozen chopped. No jalapeno at all that I could taste or see. The andouille was diced way too small, the same amount but a larger dice would have added to the flavor combo. The chicken was prepared perfectly. The gravy was nice and light and didn't compete with the syrup. Syrup didn't come across with a bourbon caramel taste but it was a nice compliment to all the other seasonings. I'll come again and try something new. I had a lovely New Zealand Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc.”
“Was so busy. The worst part the beer was 6 bucks and it was happy hour. Also 1st they gave my wife the wrong salad than gave her the wrong main meal. The real only good side our waitress had nothing to do with serving the food. She was fine and checked on us plenty of times.”
“First off, let me state that I am old and have never been here past 9pm. My pre-9pm experiences have always been great. Very unique and well prepared food and cocktails. Love stopping in for drinks and apps.”
“My lover came to me and apologized for the wrongs he did and promise never to do it again. Ever since then, everything has returned back to normal. Thank you for saving my broken , Dr chin”
“My favorite place in this area! They always have great food and service. Weekend nights can be busy so call ahead if you want to sit at the grills. Their ginger dressing and veggies are to die for. I’m a vegetarian so I can’t speak for the meat but it always looks good. Very much recommend trying if you haven’t!”

“Stepping into the Diving Elk, you feel sophisticated. This gem is one of Sioux City's best as far as restaurants and bars go in the area with an evolving, seasonal menu that will make you want to try something new every time you visit! Don't sleep on the classics like the truffle fries and brussel sprouts though, there's a reason those always stay. Also try out their weekend specials! After your visit, you'll know why this place consistently has a "Siouxland's Best Bar Tender" nominee. They are experts in their craft with an incredible selection of cocktails and craft beers. Sioux City is lucky to have such a trendy, vibrant spot for the foodies out here.”
