“I went with my friend for Happy Hour! The margarita I had was excellent! Well balanced flavor! I also had the meatballs as an appetizer. They were perfectly spicy, held together perfectly, size was perfect too! (Yes it does deserve to have 3 “perfect” descriptions). I can’t remember the name of the salad I had, but I told many people that it had a White Balsamic Dressing, it was light and bright, veggies were cool and crispy. I can’t wait to go back! 10/10 will have again!”

“Had a wonderful wine tour! Everything was delicious and distinctly local. Beautiful spot on the Boise River, great service and a wide selection of wonderful wines. The food truck had awesome fish and chips and a bunch of interesting options I'd like to try on the future. Gerrod was so personable and knowledgeable! Definitely made the experience.”

“Mi taqueria favorita!! The super burrito is absolutely epic, their salsas are fresh, and the employees are very nice. I’ve ordered both in person and on DoorDash and they always go a good job of reading the notes to make it exactly how you want it. Excellent Mexican restaurant”

“Good grief! This place was the best Uber eats discovery! Fell at the bottom of the list when looking for food and I took a chance. Was new name to me and the menu was simple to choose from. Even with the delivery, the fries were still crispy and the food flavorful! Went in on a Christmas eve date night to go round 2 and well worth it! Great beer selection, great food options, and the service was top notch! Down to suggestions, spot on flavors, and AWESOME customer service, I would happily not only recommend this place but venture here again next date night. Simple, good price, right vibe and excellent food!”

First off, when walking in was greeted by the owner and as soon as I heard his accent I immediately went back to the sandwich shops my grandpa used to take me to in New Jersey. Second, this is the first shop that has made a Philly cheesesteak like they do in Philadelphia. 10 out of 10. I’m definitely going back there as soon as possible”

“Great place! Use to go to location when I lived in Twin Falls. I was glad when I saw they had a location here. Use to know a sever in TF location when he said the food was great I thought id try it out. He was from Argentina so I'll give it a shot.
I was surprised when he comes out with chips and salsa without asking about anything. I never went anywhere else for great Mexican food and service after that.
Exicted to go to location in garden city soon.”

“The Local ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Local in Boise is “a neighborhood Eatery and Wine Pub, offering live music and rotating artists.” They also have a dog, friendly patio and a Dog menu. MW and I visited during Happy Hour, which is Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 5 PM. We ordered a mix of items off of the happy hour menu and the regular menu. We started with Hurricane Popcorn - A Hawaiian favorite - with Nori Furikaki and Japanese rice crackers. It was very flavorful and unlike any popcorn I’ve ever had before. This is a unique menu items The Local is known for. We ordered two side Caesar salads. I like that it had homemade croutons, but it needed a little more more dressing.  We shared an order of Carnitas Street Tacos, to which we added 1 extra taco. The pork was tender, but the tacos were pretty bland. We shared an order of Smash Sliders - 3 smash burgers using our own custom burger blend from Porterhouse in Eagle, with classic American cheese. They were tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot to get a photo! We shared two desserts: Berry Crisp - Blackberry cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. The berry crisp was excellent! Crème Brûlée - Simple and delicious vanilla crème brulee. The crème brûlée was good, but not great. The texture wasn’t as creamy as it should’ve been. We visited early on a weekday, so we didn’t get to hear any live music, but we pretty much had the place to ourselves until towards the end of our visit. Overall, the food was good, but not great. However, they do have a bigger menu than most wine bars and they allow dogs on the patio. The Dog Menu looks excellent! The Local has a nice Wine Menu, as well as several local beers on tap. If you’re looking for a nice wine bar with a neighborhood pub vibe, The Local is worth considering. I would like to return and try their Pepe’s Famous Fish Tacos. The pictures of their flatbread look excellent too. * The Local is wheelchair accessible. Recommended!”

Also reasonably priced. Came in and it’s totally adorable. Super friendly staff. Great food choices and DELICIOUS food at an excellent value! This is definitely our new go to Mexican place!”

“I love this place! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is clean, well laid out, and comfortable. By far the best part is the product. Organic coffee, organic milk, and they have raw milk as an option for just $1 more. I appreciate having a coffee option that is just as good, if not higher quality than what I can make in my own kitchen.

“Last night (July 24, 2025), our peaceful Idaho Israel Alliance meet-up at Push & Pour Coffee on S. Latah St. was disrupted by a group of aggressive anti-Israel agitators. Though we had notified the café in advance and were simply enjoying our first monthly gathering, these individuals showed up shouting hostile slogans—including “death to Israel,” “death to the IDF,” and “you aren’t welcome in Idaho”—while repeatedly trying to provoke a confrontation. Despite our calm and respectful conduct, the café employee asked our group—not the disruptors—to leave, stating, “We don’t support your cause and you aren't welcome here.” We complied without fuss. The agitators remained until Boise Police arrived and professionally trespassed them from the property. We’re sharing this because no one should be harassed or removed from a business for meeting peacefully—or for being Jewish, which is exactly what this felt like. We thank Boise PD for their respectful handling of the situation and remain committed to civil discourse, mutual respect, and the freedom to assemble.- IIA.”

“Had the pleasure of enjoying the food from Big K BBQ when they catered breakfasts and dinners at a 4 day event I was at with 150 campers on a the Lazy R Ranch - an amazing remote ranch near Sweet Idaho. The variety was incredible, every meal was on time, there was alway plenty of food, they had options for everyone, and above all it was absolutely delicious. It was not an easy spot to get to - no running to the store for something you forgot or ran out of - and planning it must have taken was admirable. Thanks Big K people for all the fabulous meals! Highly recommend.”

“I love Acme Bakeshop! Their sourdough bread is my favorite - fluffy and delicious. I frequently buy loaves at the Co-Op and they are always high quality. I have also gone through the bakery for their holiday orders and the process was easy with no issues for pick-up. Their ciabatta rolls and cranberry sourdough loaf are amazing seasonal items I love having at family gatherings during the holidays. I'm happy I get to support a local business that consistently bakes the best bread!”

Just 1 complaint: the bartendtress added in her own tip and didn't tell me (party of 2 people). I didn't know til I received the receipt on line. I got change from her to tip her in cash and she still didn't tell me. Not a big deal but I don't normally tip over 30% and I sure won't tip there again.”

“I got a fairly plain sub but my wife got this amazing hot roast beef on focaccia bread and chicken poblano potato soup. It was to die for! They also have fresh fruit, salad bar, and chips come with each order. Great fresh ingredients and friendly staff.”

“I have to say, I rarely stop by this Starbys but I'm happy I did today. Came in to grab a goodie for breakfast and a drink.

Walked in and saw a handful of beautiful baristas. I was instantly greeted! The sweet gal took my drink order. Today was another Pinterest inspired drink. I also grabbed a chocolate croissant.

These girls are on point. They got my drink made, my croissant a nice and toasty and they sent me out the door with a smile. Why can't all the Starbucks be kind and efficient like this one? This crew did a great job! I look forward to frequenting this location for my future drinks.”

“Krung Thai catered for us for our wedding! From the initial contact to the day of, we felt everything go so smoothly. We were able to pick items from the menu and let them know our guest count and they took it from there! The set up itself was beautiful. They really considered our wants as bride and groom and made our catering vision come to life! We knew that everything would be amazing as we frequent the restaurant in Nampa often. Our guests kept coming up to us letting us know how great the food and drinks were, to ask who catered and let us know how good of a job everything was. That’s how we know we picked the right place to cater for us! The team at Krung Thai really value their guests and it shows in their work. We had an amazing reception and we have big thanks to the restaurant and their team! We are forever grateful, and we recommend them to anyone just wanting a meal or catering!”
