“What a beautiful setting for a restaurant! I'm impressed each time I dine at 3 Arts Club. The service is excellent, from the greeters to the waitresses. The food is also delicious and comes out rather quick! All around, a great experience.“
“It's truly a crime that this place doesn't have more reviews. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. The sourdough is splendid, giving the crust a beautiful balance between soft and crunchy. The sauce is out of this world, I wish they sold jars of it so I could eat it more often. Every topping is incredibly flavorful and fresh. My favorites were the ricotta, cherry tomatoes, beef meatballs, and spinach.Make sure to preorder at least a day before you plan to go, since they make a limited amount of pizzas. Do yourself a favor and order the larger size, that way you can enjoy leftovers once you're back home and dreaming about the pizza! I can't wait to come back here again soon!“
“The Dawson is a stable for brunch enthusiasts seeking a vibrant summer vibe. Their menu features refreshing cocktails, perfectly poached Benedicts, crispy potatoes, and a standout fried lobster appetizer. It’s the ideal spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a casual meal with friends. Their brunch ends at 3 (sorry can’t recall). But they have a monthly burlesque style brunch to keep an out out for!“
“The atmosphere here is comfortable and fun, and the burger was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Our server Kevin was THE BEST! So attentive and super fun. Definitely stop in if you have the chance!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, which is awesome!“
“Found this place while on travel with my hubby. I was craving Italian food. This place did not disappoint like some of the other places that we went. Service was amazing our servers were attentive and the garlic bread we ordered was amazing. I wish that we had ordered more... I had the gnocchi Bolognese and hubby had ravioli both dishes were amazing. we ate so much bread we couldn't finish our food. I asked the server to give us a to go box and utensils so that we could give it to homeless person on our walk back to our hotel. Whenever we are out of town and eat out we typically like to take the rest to go and give it to someone less fortune then us because we are just going to throw it away because we wont have time to eat it before we have to go back home. Definitely would recommend this place. We plan to come back and bring our kids so we will back.“
“Everyone back East said I had to try this pizza. I am not really a pizza fanatic, but holy smokes, this is really really good pizza. I had the personal pepperoni with extra cheese and fresh garlic. It was amazing. They delivered to my hotel (Palmer House), and the delivery was fast for a busy night and the delivery driver was really nice. I totally recommend the pizza and service.“
“Overall the taste of all the ingredients is very good and well seasoned. They also has some toppings less commonly seen like shredded beets and bean sprouts! The place is very clean and they also weigh the noodles/rice to ensure evenness. The only con I would say is that the scoops of fish are on the small side so I would recommend 5 scoops over 3 for an adult. Also you get more fish if you choose the fish that already have spicy sauce, like spicy tuna, as opposed to plain fish, like plain salmon, due to the scoop shape. The seaweed salad topping and masago are both $1 extra which a minor point off“
“Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Great tasting food. It was my first time there and the food was very tasty. Not your usual sloppy pita sandwich, (although I love those, also). Nice variety of appetizers. I tried the zucchini keftedes and they were great. Nice portion to share or have it alone for a meal. (next time I'm going to order them with less sauce because I like the flavor og the kefteda). I'm happy to see a Greek food restaurant in the neighborhood. gives the neighborhood a continued variety of great places to eat. I will be back. Best of luck.“
“Best tacos in Logan square sorry not sorry this is my go to taco spot always I love the service the workers are very attentive team spicy tacoooossss ????Vegetarian options: Never had a veggie taco till I tried one here and it is officially my favorite Taco on the list “
“We finally had an opportunity to enjoy eating here while vacationing. Surprisingly, there's only 2 locations only. We traveled an hour to eat here and we didn't regret it. The food quality is still very good and the service was good too. Hopefully there are plans to open more locations. The buffalo chicken calzone is tasty, the potatoes are superb, and pizza is very good. I highly recommend eating here.“
“We went to Farm Bar last night with another couple and it was so delicious I had to write a review. We started with the cheese curds and we all agreed that they are the best we have ever had. Then we had the salad that was on the Specials list. It was a smear of ricotta cheese with butter lettuce, peas, asparagus, watermelon radishes and a very light, tasty vinaigrette dressing. So fresh and flavorful. The owner came by our table and has a huge farm in Wisconsin so everything is so fresh and menu changes with seasons. My husband had the catfish. He is a southern boy and he loved it. Huge portion as well! Two of us had the cavatelli. Fresh pasta and layered with textures and flavors. And one of us had the burger. He said it was a great burger. Service was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend Farm Bar!! Can't wait until the summer and the rooftop opens.“
“This restaurant is so delicious.I recommend 10e0% try them but hurry. I had the vegan veggie Phillie steak 100% fabulous. The sandwich is large and big enough for two people. Atmosphere there was wonderful, staff was extremely friendly. It's worth giving a try you, will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Veggie steak with mushrooms, add tomatoes. Very good..“
“The food is unique, tasty, and filling. $8 gets you 1 arancini and a side, and is enough for the average person. I have a bigger appetite, so I tried 2 kinds: the jerkcino and peanutcino. Both were good and more than enough food. I'll be back to try the other “
“I love paulie gee's! So many good, unique vegan pies. I try to avoid Thursday nights since it's trivia night and it is ROWDY, but also if that's your thing definitely check it out everyone seems to have a great time! Bartenders are always wonderful, great jov all around.“
“Panes is my favorite sandwich place in Chicago! Their sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced, and they bake their own bread fresh that is also available for purchase. Their soup is quite good, and they have a variety of dessert options. I recommend calling about 20 minutes ahead to save time on pickup orders, although I also enjoy walking in to eat there, with natural light and fun art on the walls. I usually order the Super Panes, although the Todo Italiano is also a favorite!“
“The dinner was absolutely delicious ? Morgan is the chef at this establishment and she cooks with love and you can taste it in every bite the shrimp and chicken was so tinder that it just melts in your mouth the flavors marry together perfectly the garlic bread is to die for do your tastebuds a favor and come to the brown bag and treat yourself to a true culinary experience ???“
“Very fresh and delicious food for reasonable prices. Fast service. Atmosphere is clean and lots of seating. The fries are best eaten in restaurant hot, fresh, and crispy. My family and friends always enjoy great tacos here too.Vegetarian options: Paneer Taco and BurritoRice and Beans“
“Fantastic spot for a delicious and enjoyable Japanese meal ?!!!Ekiben was a wonderful dining experience! From the moment I walked in.... the atmosphere was cosy and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering recommendations on the menu.I had the salmon teriyaki don. It tasted so fresh and flavorful. The ingredients were perfectly cooked and delightful ?.While the food was delicious, I'm also very optimistic that they will continue to innovate and introduce exciting new dishes in the future. ? For example, chef's choice section on the menu where they can showcase their culinary creativity, or loyalty program to reward frequent customers would be excellent (hopefully I don't ask them too much?)I truly enjoyed my experience at Ekiben, and I will definitely revisit and try another dish ?.“
“A beautiful new restaurant located in the Saint Clair hotel! The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful on what to order. Homemade pasta and the ravioli recipe was a speciality from the owners grandma - definitely recommend! Don’t skip the baklava sundae for dessert“
“Our experience at Ema was fantastic. They take allergies very seriously which was much appreciated for someone with celiac disease. Our waiter Enrique was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. All of the food was amazing we loved the Greek salad, Brussels sprouts and potatoes the most!“
“Suda’s offers delicious Lebanese cuisine in an upscale and intimate dining space. We came in a large group and got to try out a variety of dishes, all amazed by the flavors and beautiful plating of the food — the roasted cauliflower (Arnibit), falafel, and baba ghanouj were delicious appetizers; among the mains, we loved the shrimp and lamb skewers, while the mixed grill offered a variety of meats; for dessert, the Knaef was a sweet and decadent standout. The prices here are on a slightly higher end, but the exceptional quality of the food makes it well worth it.“
“We visited for the first time yesterday and it was AMAZING! Great ambience, friendly staff, good music but the food was the star of the show. Absolutely delicious! Everything from the bread, salads, soups and entrees. We will definitely be back!!!“
“OH MY GOD THIS PLACE MAKES HEAVEN. My favorites: - any of the savory meat croissants - egg sandwich - any of the meat strombolis - salted caramel donut - gingersnap molasses cookie - twice-baked almond croissant - vegan dark chocolate banana bread with pecans - Two falls ago there was this amazing apple cider bearclaw donut thing. I haven't seen it since in the pastry case, but I can still taste its awesomeness in my mouth and hope it will one day return. Everything here is so moist and magical. For me, what sets Mindy's Bakery apart from other bakeries, and makes it clear why Mindy won the Beard award for Outstanding Chef in the US, is that Mindy and crew are always working to improve their craft, always using quality ingredients and making better versions of things all the time and I respect this so much. Also, when you come in through the door, you can see everyone behind the counter, working hard, baking during open hours, and helping you pick things out of the big case in front. They are awesome. If you're from out of town, know there's rarely a line out the door on Wed, Thurs or Fri, but Sat and Sun are busy, so do what I do and bring your kindle or paper to read while you wait in line. It is always worth the wait.“
“We hosted my son’s communion party at Porretta’s last May and we were very satisfied with everything, so we decided to cater for my mother’s birthday party. We ordered a few days prior and John was able to accommodate us in spite of the short notice. We had it delivered on time and with care. All the food was delicious but our guests especially raved about the Rigatoni Vodka and the mini meatballs.I am already planning our next celebration and will be using Porrettas catering once again!“
“Always fresh, always quick and efficient, the best poke in the west loop! Good variety of toppings and you can regulate the spice level. The staff is friendly and welcoming! They have several tables for dining in and they are open from lunch to late dinner!“
“Visited for the first time today and the food absolutely delivered. I got a single cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake and my wife got an Italian beef with Swiss cheese and hot peppers, DUNKED of course, and it was everything you could possibly want. 10/10 will be back again.“
“Authentic Moroccan restaurant in West town - the ambience is simple but lots of Moroccan decoration and the music makes you feel you left Chicago and entered Marrakech. The food is delicious, great blend of spices, tagine is a hit, eggplant in tomato sauce was our favorite from starters, hummus was delicious and tasty. The service was a bit slow and the waiter never checked on us after we started our meal if everything was ok and if we needed more water. Only 3 tables were occupied hence we would expect a bit more hospitality. It is BYOB, Moroccan team with mint is very good.“
“A fantastic place to have deep dish pizza in Chicago! A friend recommended this as we are from out of country. Would definitely come back again for their deep dish pizza stuffed crust. Their pizza crust is the best thing another the pizza (I personally don’t eat crusts on pizza, but here, it’s my favourite part). We also had a side of parmesan garlic fries and a Caesar salad which were a fantastic addition. Thanks Dimitri for the fantastic service!“
“I've become a lunch regular here - absolutely delicious and fresh food in generous portions with special deals that are hard to beat. Very friendly, hospitable service even in a casual space like this. $10 chicken and falafel lunch special featured in the pic!“
“It's a sub and pizza shop. Not a full size restaurant so don't have that expectation. Didn't have the pizza so I can't review that. The subs, however, are absolutely delicious. If you're near a Fontano's go there. If you're not near, go as soon as you can if you love sub sandwiches.“
“This was the best eggplant parmesan I've had, ever. The eggplant is sliced thick, and still slightly crunchy under the sauce. The owner spoke with us, twice. Our waiter was kind & lighthearted. Thank you for making our 10th anniversary special!“
“Amazing food and drink. The burgers here are absolutely fantastic, and the fries are also quite good. The chocolate shake here is possibly the best shake I’ve ever had. The food is always delicious and the service is great and quick. I will always eat here when I get the chance. Best local burger in Chicago.“
“This place is amazing. This was my second time here and both times were exceptional. Chill atmosphere and very clean as well. Moe and Diar were both very welcoming and made sure we had a good experience. The food was fantastic and made to order so it was extremely fresh both times. Would recommend the fries with garlic sauce (most addicting combo) and the falafel. Can’t go wrong with schaorma here either.“
“Ever since they opened we go out of our way to frequent this place. We have other Thai places within walking distance from our condo but a short drive yields better quality Thai food and wonderful service. Ambiance: The place is super clean which is a plus. If the front of the house is immaculate, I would think the kitchen is the same. The food is amazing. Tiger Cry is amazing and they give a nice size portion compared to other places. Sweet/savory marinated thin slices of beef char-grilled is wonderful. Don't hesitate on the fried shumai- Fried shrimp shu-mai, served with light sweet and sour sauce. Awesome finger food. You can't go wrong with any of the curry dishes. This last round we had the Gaeng Masaman - Masaman curry and potatoes sauteed in coconut milk with peanuts and chicken. Great flavor. So many selections but all have been great! I love the fact you can choose the level of spiciness for each dish depending on your preferences. We go full-tilt hot as hell spicy and it does not disappoint! Pricing is a bit lower than your average Thai places and portions are more generous. 3 dishes for 2 people yields leftovers! Owner is friendly and I can tell he loves what he does and is looking out for the diners. This is the place you want to make sure thrives. Go pay them a visit.“
“Such excellent service here. I’ve been there twice in desperate need of something with queso, and I live nearby, so I thought I’d try it out.The staff are absolutely lovely . So friendly and kind. They forgot my guacamole this time and I don’t care. I’d rather have someone be nice.“
“Max & Issy’s is a super cute date spot with great pizza. The inside is gorgeous and the food is incredible. They have a few unique pizzas, such as the Queen of Hearts, which is basically if spinach artichoke dip was a pizza. I had the hot honey pepper pizza and honestly whoever decided honey goes on pizza deserves an award. The pizzas only come in one size, which is 16” aka large, so you’ll probably want to share. Since my girlfriend and I have different taste palates (mine being good and hers being less good), we ordered two pizzas and now we have lots of leftovers. Highly recommend stopping by for date night or just a great pizza with friends.“
“I love ordering pick up here. The website makes it super easy. My healthy, delicious salad with sustainable salmon is ready in less than 10 minutes. It helps to keep me on track with eating well and it’s delicious at the same time. I sometimes treat myself to the amazing tater tots or switch it up with their catch of the day. Love it here.“
“We saw that Chicago's Pizza offered a Mickey Mouse for children that they could build themselves and decided to take our children so they could have the experience. For our ourselves, we got a deep dish pizza, thin crust pizza, and fried cauliflower. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of our food, which was very tasty (and we had gone only for the kids' pizza). They're focaccia was superb. Unfortunately, the restaurant sent us Mickey Mouse pizzas that were already made (not made by our kids). Other parents will understand how your dinner experience is affected when you've promised a 5-year-old something all day and then that thing doesn't come to fruition-it ruins your dinner. The staff were nice and accommodating, and they did what they could to help, including bringing out dough balls to make it seem to our kids like they were making the actual pizza. In the end, it worked. However, the dinner was a lot more tense than it should have been feel (and contentious amongst the parents). This is a situation that should've been handled by management. If the place is going to cater to children, there are the sort of things that it must stay on top off. Most parents can overlook a flawed pizza, but not a child crying over dinner.“
“Solid place! Just came by during my lunch break and got the gyro sandwich and Parmesan fries. Order was ready super quickly (5 min walk from my apartment) and staff was friendly. Food was great - super fresh. I got home and told my roommate and he was jealous. I feel bad that I did not bring him back any. I should be less selfish in the future. Great addition to the neighborhood I'm going to come back and try more things on the menu“
“Met up with some friends here this past weekend. The atmosphere is really nice, but it's such a small space... I wish there was more seating! Luckily, we didn't have to wait long for a table to open up. I ordered a hazelnut latte and pistachio croissant- both were delicious!“
“We had high expectations since all the reviews we’d read had been very positive. We were not disappointed. The apple salad was indeed huge and delicious and the tavern style pizza was perfect. Super thin and crispy and the sausage was glorious, not greasy at all and full of fennel seed flavor. Josh(one of the owners)took our order and chatted with us. He was extremely welcoming and kind. Even brought us glasses for the bottle of wine we brought with us. We also tried the Superman ice cream, which I hadn’t heard of before, that too is made in house and was delicious. There are 3 booths that fit 4 for seating and also just enough room for ordering at the counter and for people waiting for takeout and delivery orders. We went on Friday and were able to grab a table when we arrived around 5:30. Within 30-45 minutes, the other tables were occupied as well. We dined in since we wanted to try the pizza super fresh and hot. Wonderful experience and We’re looking forward to going again. Don’t miss out on this amazing pizza.“
“My friends and I had a lovely brunch! Favorites were the brussels, homemade stracchiatella cheese, blueberry clafoutis, and charred eggplant dip. The lamb shakshuka was just okay - I prefer traditional with less meat and more tomato sauce. We got 8 dishes to share for 4ppl and definitely over-ordered - would have done 6 + dessert in hindsight.Service was top tier, with toothpicks identifying whether each dish is allergy-free for the party.“
“Our first time here and it was amazing, both the food and the service. Evonne was stellar and our pizza guide. She went above and beyond to make the experience a memorable one. I will recommend this place to everyone.Kid-friendliness: 1000% kid friendly“
“Coming from a retired vegan that usually doesn’t care for chicken, GG’s has the most delicious, mouthwatering, delectable, juicy, tender, succulent, flavorful, finger-licking, life changing chicken I’ve ever had in my life. I get their food almost every time I have a lunch break and it’s always hot and fresh and ready to go and nothing beats their prices. GG’s please sponsor me I’m your biggest fan“
“There are better known Italian deli's in town, especially in West Town and West Loop. Why is this under the radar is beyond me. These subs are phenomenal. In fairness, I've only ordered the Italian House Specialty, so I can't comment on the others. But dang, it's SO good. This place is no frills, but I wouldn't have it any other way. And a great value. Do yourself a favor, and skip past those others and give this a whirl. You can thank me later. Ok, my mouth is watering.Kid-friendliness: Kids love sandwiches. And its laid back.“
“The food is amazing on it's own, and is great for people with restrictions that would want a more customizable experience. However the reason I'm writing this review is for the workers. I have ordered from here many times, to the point that they recognize me, and I have never had such consistently great service from every single worker at a restaurant like this.Being disabled means that sometimes I can only make myself eat one meal a day, and despite the fact that I've never shared that with any of the workers here, they ALWAYS make sure that the bowls I order are just about as full as possible. You will NOT feel skimped on your portion sizes here, and I cannot say how grateful I am to the workers who definitely don't know how much they've helped me.Vegetarian options: They have meatless mondays, which is basically just a free 20% off for vegetarians on mondays, and their vegetarian options are clearly labeled and plentiful.Dietary restrictions: They have options for just about every restriction, as their dishes are all gluten free (or at least most are) and their selection is highly customizable.Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly their location is not accessible, and I as an ambulatory user have to walk in to get my food.“
“I can’t express the joy I feel when I have life changing food!! I was brought to this restaurant and everything I ate and drank was divine, and most of it was very healthy! Refreshing, flavorful, unforgettable. We tried some new dishes that aren’t on the menu yet, met the owner of a fabulous tequila company, and enjoyed every moment. Please friends, do me and yourself a favor and come to Chicago to eat here.“
“Everything about this place was just... Mediocre. Just to be clear, there was nothing wrong with the food or service but it didn't illicit the nostalgia I was looking for. I grew up in a suburb not far from Chicago but moved to Louisville, Kentucky about 18 years ago and I think we have a Chicago transplant restaurant owner that does Chicago-style cuisine better than this. The prices are reasonable and the food is decent so I'm not mad about getting food here. We had just gotten into town and were starving so having a bite to eat here did the trick. I just think there may be a better place to eat.Wheelchair accessibility: The elevator to the bathrooms on the second level were out of order when we were there so not sure what folks did when stairs weren't an option.“
“I am a very huge fan of smaller scale restaurants that can be found hiding in the city. Family-owned businesses are typically the ones that have the best food because they do not necessarily look into mainstreaming menus and recipes. with smaller restaurants, you can typically find amazing price opportunities as well as some unique food that has not been released to the broad market. It almost makes locations like this become a treasure if you come across them. Huge shout-out for Lola's. Amazing dogs, burgers, shakes! give them a try when you get the chance. For me, it was worth every penny!“
“We went Easter Morning for brunch and it was quite busy. The staff were not affected by the crowd, they were happy and very pleasant. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend dining here. I know we will be back next time we are in Chicago ❤️“
