“I am in love with country donuts! The flavors are so delicious and you can taste the freshness. The lattes are great too! I had their cherry filled chocolate frosted donut which was generously filled, a chocolate glazed, and a lemon cake old fashioned. All were delicious! I also had a white chocolate pecan cookie which was amazing, big and chewy and sweet. Excited to visit many more times and try many more flavors. The prices are cheaper than most coffee/donuts shops. Fantastic donuts! Moist and fresh tasting. I doubt you can go wrong with anything you try at this place. The service is always bright and cheerful every day. “I met my parents here the other day as we both traveled some distance to meet up. This restaurant was absolutely wonderful atmosphere, small & quiet when we were there. I believe we had their lunch menu, and I ordered the Capellini pasta, my dad got Eggplant Parmesan, and my mom got the Italian Beef. Unfortunately I would suggest the entire staff of the restaurant needs to eat that same sandwich my mom ordered. She said it was dry & had no flavor, as if they boiled the fatty meat in plain water and threw it onto a crispy piece of bread. Thankfully she said something(my mom has never sent food back my entire life and I’m in my 20’s she’s in her 60’s) so for her to ask it to be removed from the bill just shows how gross it was.Our server was WONDERFUL, and of course she took it off the bill, and encouraged my mom to order another dish. She settled on the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. She was throughly pleased with that dish, so it all ended well.The restaurant seemed cleaned and well managed other than maybe their Italian beef haha.Advice for future customers, don’t order their beef unless they change their recipe.Advice for the restaurant, PLEASE have a tasting going on for your staff members. The person who creates/created the recipes and cooks them needs to allow constructive criticism/feedback on their dishes. “I swear this is the best chicken around! We are not gluten free at all and love the chicken so much. Tons of sauces to either dip or coat the chicken with. The concept is just fun. It is almost like a grown up mall food court. A amazing bar, coffee shop pizza and the BEST Mexican breakfast food ever.“
“Not going to be the greatest sushi you've ever had, but affordable and all very yummy and cleanly place nice service. I noticed it is more affordable to order from kitchen can get 6 roll for $1 a piece and off conveyor $3 for 2 pieces. Some are $4 on conveyor for 4 pieces, all depends.Fantastic spot, glad I chose it, will definitely be back.“
“Amazing little coffee shop in downtown Elgin. The vibes remind me of being in a small town! They make sure everything is perfection for you when ordering. The coffee packs a punch with good flavor which tells ya they are for-real. I’ll be back for another cup whenever I’m around town.“
