“Good local spot that I’ve been coming to for years. Glad to see it hasn’t changed with the new owners. The wings were fantastic! With working all day, the weather being as cold and snowy as it was, I wasn’t much in the mood for smiling, but the bartender Alexis turned that around. She was very fun and attentive. Will definitely make it a point to return if she is by chance bar tending on one of my next bad days.“

“This was our first time in as we just moved to the neighborhood and we loved it! We had come from dinner but decided we wanted some snacks. We had the fried pickles, pretzels, & ice cream with churros-- I was surprised but oh so happy they had some kind of dessert. The bartender was a super nice guy-- very friendly. He checked on us often and never left us waiting for anything. The interior was really cute and about what you expect for a corner/ neighborhood bar. We will for sure be back-- so glad we gave it a try!“

“They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“

“Hi guys, just wanna let you guys know the garage bar in sandwiches is a great spot to have food. The service was OK. Not the best but the food makes everything better. Unfortunately the drinks were trash. I shouldn’t say trash because that’s understatement. “I didn't expect much when we stopped in on a Sunday right around lunchtime and no one was there other than a few in the bar. We ended-up very pleasantly surprised as the menu was quite extensive and everyone could find something to eat. We had two people get personal thin pizzas and one kid burger sliders and one adult chicken Parm sliders. Add a few cups of soup and some sodas and we were set. The chicken was very tasty and you got three good size ones with fries so I had one left to send for lunch with the kids. The waitress was lovely and understanding of kids who took forever to choose! We will definitely be back!“

Our server Alyssa was great - and convinced my wife to get the 1lb burger which she raved about, along with the warm, soft bread. I ordered the chili (temp hot and spicy hot) and the chicken piccata, and both were great. Healthy old fashions in a “your grandma’s basement” kind of vibe. Excited to go back.“

“I nearly missed reviewing this place... back in April I had just arrived from a horribly long overseas flight. My friends were kind enough to take me to this pub for some dinner and we were pleased at our food and dining experience. When you walk in you are met with traditional Irish decor, and a lovely fireplace in the dining area. Very welcoming and clean. I liked it immediately. Heather H. waited on us and was very friendly and helpful with making some dinner suggestions. It is a very cute interior and warm environment. My friends got Guiness of course and I was pleased to see they had a surprisingly good selection of white wine, so I opted for a glass of the Joel Gott sauvignon blanc ($9.25). I was starving and got the Wild Alaskan blackened salmon ($19.95) MM MMM with a side Salad and OH YES house made blue cheese dressing to die for. Very generous portion of fish, perfectly cooked.My friends shared a basket of crinkle cut fries ($5), curry sauce ($3.50) and Irish sausage ($6), plus Southwest Chicken Egg Rolls ($7.95). The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, and the food is really good. The dinner menu has a very impressive selection, a little bit of everything.“

“We absolutely love Docs, they have amazing food, amazing drinks and THE BEST service. We’ve been there a dozen times and always had stellar service. Very recently we met their GM, Amber and it became instantly clear that the service was a direct trickle down effect from her leadership. Amber went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We recently got a new puppy and she made sure he had water and even chopped up some carrots for him which are his favorite. She was constantly talking to guests and moving people around the patio to ensure they had shade and were comfortable. Her dedication to guest service is truly refreshing and very rare in the post Covid restaurant industry. We will certainly be back again and again because of her.“

“This is a perfect neighbor hood bar. The bartenders are amazing. We see Chevo and Jane every time we go there and they take great care of us. It is pet friendly so we get to play with random dogs while we're in there. They have a dart board and a private patio out back with heaters, and they serve the best frozen pizza you can ask for. “On this night, we visited our local Iowa Hawkeye bar, Gracie O’Malley’s to enjoy some NCAA women’s basketball amazing number 22 Kaitlyn Clark.This bar is pretty big and well appointed, with lots of TVs for viewing and an outdoor seating area when the weather permits.They have grace solution of beers in full bar with some delightful proprietary cocktails.Their kitchen is banging out some amazing dishes, such as the pulled pork poutine, the grace, O’Malley‘s burger and the southwest chicken sandwich. The burger was juicy and delicious. The chicken sandwich was crispy and spicy and you came on a brioche bun. Topped with fresh tomatoes and purple onions. Very well and very tasty. I paired it with mac & cheese, which is not a traditional mac & cheese by any means. This mac & cheese was out of this world. Fantastic! The only reason why this place did not get a five star rating was because they were short a waitress on this particular Monday. However, our bartender was very social and accommodating. Will definitely be back again for final four.“

Overall we are very satisfied with the food and felt very welcomed by bartender Suhei.I had the Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My dining partner had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and loved it. Both sandwiches came with a mound of fries.I particularly appreciate Suhei’s ability to pour a “proper” pint of Guiness (20oz). She was patient and poured it the way Guiness is meant to be poured; with patience. Too many taverns that have draft Guiness do an awful job dispensing a pint. Suhei knows her stuff!For 3 pints and two sandwiches, the bill was just shy of $55. I think that’s good value for what we had.We will definitely be back!“

“Came in on a Friday evening with a group of ladies. We quickly got seated and ordered. The female bartender was nice, quick and responsive to our needs. The food was delicious, particularly the tortilla chips, and drinks were super cheap! Gotta love that, but.....the TouchTunes selection was very lacking when it came to hip hop and R&B artists. I get that they probably don't have a regular clientele that plays that sort of music but to have barely anything available in those genres kinda sends a message that they lack cultural inclusivity. It would have been nice to have more options to share in the experience of hearing songs we enjoyed too while dining. Idk, just a thought. Overall it's a good place for a drink and quick bite to eat.“

I enjoyed the jalapeno cheddar brat and my daughter loved the pretzel and the cheese filled polish sausage.Beer selection, though limited and bottle only, included some European beers which went well with the food.It's more of a gambling facility than a restaurant, but it was good for what it was.Service was excellent and prices were half off when we went so it was quite inexpensive which provided great value for what we got.“

“My Wife and I go to O'Sullivan's for dinner pretty regularly. Sometimes it is very busy but the service is always good. We like the food, they have a soup de jour which is usually very good and they have specials every day. The prices are reasonable and the bar tender always makes a great Manhattan. They have a great selection of beer, If there is a popular sporting event on television it is very crowded, but we have never had much of a wait for a table or for service.“
