“Although this store is smaller in size the way the employees make you feel is worth it. I feel right at home when I'm talking to the cashiers and all department managers. They always seem to be nice and goofy with each other. I love going to their seasonal section. My grandmother says Mr.Linden is always so helpful and sweet to her. 100/10 recommend“

“Nice local Italian deli. First off, the ladies here were very nice and treated everyone equally. Greeted me and my colleague with a warm smile and nice words. I've been trying to cut back on the meat, so I had the veggie wrap and some bow tie pasta. The wrap was phenomenal the red peppers and artichokes were great. The bow tie pasta was weird. The noodles were al dente, the ingredients were good, but the flavor was a lit6le weird to me. It haf a seasoning that lingered in the back of my throat and it was a little tangy and sweet. I keep saying I'm not going to eat anymore then proceeded to eat the whole thing. So you make your own opinion. My colleague had an Italian sub. He stated the bread was very fresh, the meats were delicious and he told me he was going to be going back "a lot" because he worked close. He also ordered two slice of pizza to take home for later. He said the pizza was fire. The place is a little small but very clean and quaint. Over all I would definitely go back. Just not sure about the bow tie pasta...... or would I. ?“

“I absolutely love Capri! Family owned deli store with lots of Italian goodies. Sweets, cheese, deli counter, freshly made pasta and pasta sauce, 00 flour, EVOO....they have it all! The service is always great and the family is so friendly.They don't accept credit cards. Cash/check only.“

“A very good shop with Georgian cuisine. The quality of cooking is at a high level. Communication is in Russian, so you can chat and choose something tasty for yourself. I liked the lamb pilaf, pies with meat and potatoes, Georgian cookies, grilled chicken and very good cheesecakes not fried. Pay attention to this store. Pirosmani restaurant will open there soon. “Co-workers wanted to meet up for lunch and I am so glad they choose this place. They have some table and chairs inside, but it can be a tight fit during the lunch rush. The employees are helpful, and the place looked very clean. The menu has a lot of options, and I was happily surprised they have gluten free bread which was the best gluten free bread I have ever had a sandwich on. The contents on the sandwich were flavorful and you could tell they were fresh. It came with a side salad which had a great dressing on it. Overall, the meal was worth the price, and I would recommend trying them out yourself. I did spot a homemade galeto selection, but didn't indulge on this first trip, but I may need to check that out and report back in the future.“

“I was working out in Glenview across the street from this deli. I had a craving for an Italian beef and ended up stopping here and boy did I not regret it. ended up coming back today for a second day in a row on the job for lunch and this is by far the best Italian beef I’ve ever had in my life, the two gentlemen behind the counter were extremely nice and friendly and remembered me by name even though I had only been there once prior definitely will be back next time. “Joey C's Deli is amazing! The whole place is very cozy, decent, bright, clean, and nice. Everything is organized and perfectly displayed. You can literally find anything you want here in this place and all the foods that can satisfy your cravings. This place has cooked or ready-to-eat food, you can see the selections in front and besides the counter. They have sandwiches, pasta, salad, soup, hot dogs, sausages, desserts, and beverages. Everything is really great and has an affordable price. You can also go for their soda and coffee machine, where you can fill your own cup and pay for it on the counter. They also have chips and snacks at the corner which is so affordable. Joey C's also offer some of their delicacies in a jar, they have Pepper Spread, Pepperoncini, and others. Such awesome offers! In front of their counter, you can also see that they have some sweets and candies. They also have sliced cakes and shortcakes. Joey C's definitely has everything we are looking for. Their refrigerators for assorted drinks are also full of affordable and amazing selections. I would really love to visit here again soon when I am nearby. Everything here is worth it! “OMG this place is amazing. Rex Italian Foods is an awesome Italian deli that has a whole assortment of prepared foods that are home made. The selection is amazing and very overwhelming for someone coming here for the first time. They are a combination grocery store and deli. It's like being an adult in a candy store. (First time about 5 years ago) This is actually the second time I've been here but I never wrote a review da first time. I couldn't remeba where da joint was. Well tada I found it ova on Harlem Ave @ 4431 N Harlem save jest nort of Montrose on da east side ib da street. Well now that I found da joint I bookmarked it and went inside to reacquaint myself to Rex Eyetalian Foods. As you enter you see a deli case wit all sorts of goodies. They have sammiches, hot lunches and deli sthuff ta eat dere or ta take home. I think most of da people take it to go cause the seating area is a little small but I ordered da meat lasagna ta dine in. I chowed down on the cheesy meat lasagna wit red sauce. It was very good. Definitely worth checking out. Once you've been here you will be back again.“

I just talked to Mary (Morton Grove, IL location) who was very pleasant, let me tell her what I needed (which is very rare in this fast paced world we live in) and very helpful. I then talked to the New Mgr. Kevin, who was just as polite as Mary was. They walked me through the online ordering system and now I am pretty much worry free thanks to these two lovely people. “4 star rating 9/4/2022Great food without the huge crowds. I think they cater food alot Gerry & I are Polish but do not speak it. Our parents never taught us & it is kind of hard to learn now in our 60's. We love the homemade foods & other store items. Parking is on the side of the building. I love the homemade dumplings but today they did not have them! I lost my voice on a temp basis & just wanted some comfort soft foods. I would have given 5 stars if they had the basics like the dumplings in the fresh hot foods. Cute place. I think we spoke to the new owner who took over some time ago. We are treated real good. Noone is ever rude to us. I will add that if you are Polish or not, no one should act rude to you. Speak to the owner.“

“IT is a small little store and although it is categorized as a liquor store, it is so much more than that. They sell the absolutely best alfajores and for that alone it deserves all the stars in the world. It is reasonably priced and you are supporting a small business. I only had one of their empanadas and although I am not sure how fresh it is, it still beats other places that claim to sell Argentinian empanadas but it is anything but authentic. Here, the owners are very welcoming and they also have a great selection of Argentinian wines.“

“Buy everything from them!! The ravioli is next level quality, the store is clean as ever! Fast service. One issue is they pre make the sandwiches and sometimes the bread is chewy instead of soft. One downfall that needs to be fixed. Other that the sauces are houaemade and you can't compared to anything bought in regular grocery stores.“

“Jak sie masz??? (in Borat accent) Andy's Deli is the greatest Polish Deli on earth! If I lived in Chicago I'd be here all the time. This is Polish food heaven -- why spend the money going to Poland when you can have all the best food of Poland RIGHT HERE? Minimal English spoken here.....it's the real deal! We regularly order a package of Polish goods from Andy's to arrive just in time for Easter (FEDEX 2 day) . One time we received the package late and everything had increased to ambient temperature. Andy's was gracious enough to send a new package at no charge (about $100 worth of foods). Shipping foods to California is not that cheap because of the shipping charges and mandatory cooling packs, but when the sausages arrive here it's such a treat! Check them out online for orders to your state. I finally visited here in person while visiting Chicago ....and it's such a fantastic spot -- everything you could ever imagine Polish food wise -- from periogi to kapusta to bigos to sausages. Kielbasa heaven!Love this place and wish we had something like this in CA!“

“Great stop in Skokie for all of your Eastern European / Russian food needs. Great selection of smoked fish, soups to go and legit European deli meats. Very reasonable considering many of the deli's in the area gouge you. Not here. Not a huge place but very nice ladies running, very helpful, and plenty of what you need. They speak enough English to help you out but little enough to let know it is a legit EU deli. Great parking on the side of the building never hurts.“

“For the first time I had a great experience at the deli last night at this Jewels. A nice young man assist me and his customer service was very nice. He greet me and I conversated as he packed my choice of honey wings and potato wedges. The rest of the people I’ve encountered in the past can learn something about customer service from this young man. Period!“
