It smelled amazing, clean, earthy vibes all right up my alley.The menu consists of a variety which iLOVED! Instead of getting the already made hot food that was calling me… i chose bbq tips with lentil soup for the side along with a veggie stir fry.WHAT A GREAT DECISION. The gentleman was so patient with me which iAppreciate since I don’t like being rushed. “The catering was great BEST deals compared to other restaurants in that area. Food was fresh and flavorful especially the Italian beef.... definitely had me surprised. The fried chicken was good could use a bit more seasoning. Whipped potatoes were amazing you could actually see the melted butter on top, baked beans yummy even the cole slaw was good. “A real classic butcher shop. All the meats, including lunch meats, lots of cheeses, side dishes, and interesting breakfast sausage like blueberry links. They have meat packs that are perfect for saving money, and there are also chicken and pork packs. Prices are really reasonable, and their quality is great. They do a great job packaging the meat, fits nicely in the feeezer.“

“I can call this place Glenwood Oaks reborn..It is owned by the former owners of the Oaks..Mostly known for their banquets the food is just as good as before..The bar is cozy enough but i came for the food..You have to try the ribs..I ordered a half a slab and the meat just falls off the bone..The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home..“

“look.. when I tell you they have accommodated me for every event I have ever had.. I've been supporting them back to when Laura kubiak was there. The past few years I have hosted my annual Christmas party there and not one complaint, food, phenomenal! Fresh. Tasty. Plenty to go around. Service amazing! Price is more than fair. I have been there for several funeral banquets as well, food is consistently amazing... besides that I was an avid fish fry guy on Fridays and that is even better. Wish I could give more stars!! “I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. One of the best beef sandwiches I've ever had. The location and Thornton is nice. Very friendly very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone“

“We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. It was our first time hosting a party so we were nervous, but Gilhooleys made everything easy for us. We are so grateful for such a wonderful time!“
