“Excellent Thai food for sure however I have one pet peeve: We ordered a curry dish and the white rice portion was tiny. When I got up from the table to ask for more they charged me $2 more. Curry is served over rice. How cheap can you get? You can buy white rice in 25lb bags for $18 and that's a retail price. No excuse here, sorry. This is unacceptable.“

“The most important quality for me at a five star restaurant is service. Our service was outstanding! We sat at the bar on a late Sunday afternoon and the bartender was extremely attentive. We never had to ask for anything. She was refilling our soft drinks and water before they were completely empty. We also did not ever have to wait to place an order for more wine. She was not hovering or intrusive at all. She was simply extremely attentive but from a distance. We ordered salads and appetizers and they were delicious. This was our first time at Eddie Merlot’s, but we will definitely return.“

“I found this gem by chance. The food is beyond amazing, I had the fermented seafood pho. OMG!!! The flavors were so good, and nothing was overpowering. You know you're in a great place when the owner is greeting customers like they're part of the family. This will definitely be a return visit the next time I'm in town.“

“We went to Morton's to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The server was great, and he made sure we had everything we needed, but didn't rush us at all. They made a special menu for my husband, took a picture to remember the dinner, and had a candle for him to blow out during dessert. The food was very good. The steaks were the exact temperature we asked for, the sides are large enough 2 or more, and the chocolate molten cake was fantastic.“

“Celebrated my mother in-laws 90th birthday and could not be more pleased. We were a group of 30 for brunch and the food was wonderful. The buffet had a huge spread of good tasting food. We were also pleased with the staff. We had a waitress that did not miss a beat. So impressed. Well done Venuti’s.“

“I had just left a review somewhere else about how I've never had a restaurant that served both ramen and sushi where the ramen was actually decent, but there's a first time for everything, right?The restaurant itself is quaint, but comfortable and has a nice ambience. I sat right in front of the sushi making area so I had a nice little show while I ate. The server was nice and took my order quickly and checked in on me enough.I had ordered both a miso ramen and a couple pieces of tamago nigiri. Funny enough, while my usual complaint is the ramen at a sushi restaurant, today it's more of a small complaint about the sushi! The sushi itself didn't taste bad at all. It was well-made, in fact. My only "complaint" was that the tamago was still very cold from the fridge, but still really tasty. It didn't affect my overall experience.The ramen was great and the presentation was really nice. I'm really fond of miso ramen in general and they made it really well here.Noodles: The noodles are thinner, springy, and chewy. They were pleasant to eat and tasted amazing. They had a nice neutral taste that went well with the broth.Broth: The broth was rich and savory and had a good miso flavor. It was served perfectly hot.Toppings: The pork tasted like it was marinated well and was nicely braised. The egg wasn't marinated in anything and was a plain soft boiled egg. The bamboo shoots also tasted good on their own. I also enjoyed the corn last in the broth. Everything worked well both separately and together.Overall, I was very pleased with Lili Sushi & Ramen! They attempted to call me twice (I missed it) to let me know. Even though I did not answer, they delivered the food with the gluten containing ingredient separate with a note to be careful. I am so impressed, and it is so hard to find safe places to eat as a Celiac. The extra care and time to make sure my food was safe really impressed me... not to mention the food was fresh and so delicious! I applaud the staff for their attention to detail and care, and am making Poke Bros a staple take out.“

Inside, there are a few tables but most people got their bowls to go. Everything felt very clean and bright and the young lady who took my order was very polite and helpful. They were outstanding, as usual.The band stage was WAY too small but worked. Remove the tv's since you're really not a good venue as a sports bar. Add more tables under the tv's.2. Expand the band area and include an area for dancing. Too many people were dancing around the tables.5 separate dining areas. Lots of seating.I rated 5stars because it was an exceptional situation with St. Patrick's Day, the staff was overwhelmed with the crowds but were amazing under the circumstances.03/16/24 was St. Paddy day celebration.We had a reservation 1 month in advance. Thank goodness. But we still waited 30 minutes for our table because the wait staff wouldn't get the previous people to leave our table. This needs to be adjusted.Parking: Free parking but on an occasion, like St Patrick's day, get there early.“

Hats off the the chef, the best cooked scallops I've ever had. All the dishes were delicious and my date loved it too. I figured you don't ask unless it's popular. Boy it did not disappoint imo. Super fire! The coleslaw was good, it's very simple. If I had to "complain" the only thing I was just ok with was the fries. Only reason why is I like mine more crispy. They were still good though. Both the mild (bbq?)and hot (thicker style of a Louisiana mixed with Frank's?) sauces were good. For the price and portions it's definitely worth the try. The atmosphere is very pleasant with a decoration quite typical of a Chinese restaurant. As for the food, it has a great flavor, we ordered rice with shrimp (good quantity) and a dish of sweet and sour beef with vegetables, both dishes were delicious and three people ate perfectly with these two dishes. We went with another couple and ordered drinks that were all well done – we love the chips and homemade roasted tomato salsa that they brought to our table. We then shared the guacamole which was a generous serving and very fresh, I had ceviche with shrimp that was a generous mound served with avocados on top and it was delicious. The service – although they were trying really hard – was slow and very spotty. We ordered drinks and only three of the drinks came and about 10 minutes later the fourth drink came. All our meals came together except for my husbands which came about 15 minutes later, which didn’t make for a smooth me out together. The portions were generous, and the food was fresh, and I would definitely go back. We were not disappointed at all, the friendliness staff to take care of us. The food is just outstanding and you receive enough to take home. There special bread is to die for, always have to take some home. If your in the Carol Stream area you must have lunch or dinner here. I promise you will becoming back there again. “The food was pretty good! We started with the shumai which came with a delicious spicy sauce. Our rolls were all pretty good, with our favorite being the turtle roll. The spider roll was probably my second favorite after that. The only thing we didn't love was our rolls came out in waves instead of all together which was kind of annoying, but maybe they were busy or something. Our waitress was also very kind. Overall solid dinner and we both agreed we would come back if we were in the area again.“

“Family get together dinner, some had been here before and 3 of us it was are 1st time here. Very enjoyable dining. Owner stopped by table to introduce himself and see if we were enjoying the experience at his restaurant, very nice to see how he watched over everything. Very easy to read wine list and food menus as when you open them they light up. The atmosphere was very interesting as the building is an old church built in 1928 and converted to this restaurant. Stained glass, fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and ivy covered walls outside make this a very unique place. GREAT service, easy to carry on a conversation, many candles create a pleasant atmosphere. Will enjoy returning in the summer as they have outside dining too. “Since New Wok hasn't reopened and prices at House of Emperor have slowly been raised thru the roof, we tried here and got 4 dishes we have ordered at many Chinese take out places or even in Chinatown. Here we go: Chicken Chop Suey-excellent! Sauce is tasty, plenty of bean sprouts and pea pods, good amount of tender chicken, trimmed nicely of any fat. Beef Fried Rice-very good. Although it had yellow onion instead of the more normal green onion, and scrambled egg was kinda sparse. Still very good. Beef With Broccoli-would have also been excellent except it had sweetness, I have always hated sugar added to my Americanized Chinese food. BBQ Pork Egg Foo Yung-same comment as the beef with broccoli. The gravy for the egg foo was VERY sweet. Too sweet for me! The only option is large which is 3 paddys not the usual 4. I think without the sugar it would have been very good. Purely take out here, it was obvious they used to have a sit down business at some point but not now. Extensive menu, see their website and either phone order or online order.“

“I've had them bookmarked and so glad we visited for lunch. They have an egg roll check in offer on Yelp for over $20 orders. They are great and crunchy. I went with the pepper steak. Very tender beef and went mild for the perfect level of heat. I ended up taking half home as it was a large serving. Sister is vegan and enjoyed the Roma noodle with tofu. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend it to Thai lovers.“
